I'm going to call it. Moriarty is not a bad guy, he was created as an opponent "capable of beating data" so they may put him in an android body to help them against Lor.
An intriguing supposition indeed.
But the third act twist!
Why an android body when mobile emitters are a thing?
Id say thats kind of obvious...
I like this idea. What if it was the other way around? They dig up Lor to beat Moriarty?
Season 3 is killer.. every episode is just amazing! Please continue this, it's the best Star Trek in decades!
The Worf delivery is so on point, Michael didn´t miss a single beat. I consider Star Trek TNG a cultural world heritage of arts. Every episode is great to watch.
I think they should be shown in schools.
He played the Worf character for over 280 episodes, by far the most out of any actor. Not to mention the movies, of course.

Lets hope its a honorable ride. What they did to Picard is more than enough
The TNG cast cannot be replicated. Absolute perfect mix of actors who truly make their characters work.
Old has-beens brought back out of desperation because this show, this franchise, has nothing left. This looks like a sad collection of memberberries and yet another existential threat to the Federation because they just have nothing else to say.
@@Aethgeir a tad bitter? Not woke enough for you? 🙄
@@steve841 Wokeness is part of the problem. Turns out deconstructionism is not conducive to creativity. Go figure!
But the truth is, Trek has been out of ideas since Enterprise. Furthermore, the franchise is so weighed down by its own baggage, that not only have they run out of stories to tell, but it's practically impossible to do anything new, while remaining within the narrative consistency of the Trek universe. That's why The Orville seems new and fresh while doing basically the exact same thing.

THE ENTERPRISE F, ODYSSEY CLASS FROM STAR TREK ONLINE IS FINALLY CANON. IT'S REAL AND IM LOSING MY MIND.
CAN'T WAIT FOR S3.
She looks perfect. So happy for Cryptic and the STO Community.
Actually it always was canon. CBS gave Cryptic that authority a long time ago. The only thing that will be different from STO is that in STO Data was the Ent-F's first captain but now we know he is dead, so that part will most likely be changed in game to reflect the show.
Its so beautiful to see it in a show. I hope its interaction with ST Picard is more than a drive by!
@@ImpendingJoker wrong its beta canon at best
@@admiralsnackbar69 not wrong. The entire story arch of STO is confirmed soft canon (=canon until proven otherwise, contrary to beta canon which is wildly fan fiction) by CBS, this has been stated several times throughout the life time of the game from both sides of the license. Many of the ships have been "promoted" from soft canon to actual canon since, one of which is the Odyssey Class (a while ago already) and now explicitly the Enterprise F.
I have to admit that Star Trek is a much better franchise than Star Wars. It has everything, from science to fantasy. It gives you a sense of exploring new frontiers of the universe, and when you sit down to watch it, you feel like you're about to embark on the adventure of a lifetime with old friends from days gone by. It also gives you the feeling that you too will be a part of it, not just a passive spectator.
The only thing I regret is that this journey always comes to an end.
Thank you to everyone who was involved in this adventure. I hope we will see each other in many more to come.
NYLES THE BUTLER IS BACK! Without a doubt, those were two of my favorite episodes! Daniel DAVIS played that nefarious fictional character Professor Moriarty so well!
I guess someone found a bottle opener to let him out. I need to review that episode so I can make sense of his threat.
Seeing -Niles- Moriarty back on the Enterprise is such a flashback to my childhood TV landscape...
Childhood? We're talking "collegehood" here, for me.
Wasn't that Malcolm McDowell?
Hahaha... love the 'Niles' from the Nanny. 😄
Not the same without Nimoy
😄😄😄
As much as I love the plot driven series, I sometimes miss the surprise and creativity of the stand alone episodes.. Some of them were absolutely amazing. Stories like TNG S:5 - Inner Light. That episode still resonates with me 20+ years later.
You are absolutely correct. Star Trek was made to episodic not seasonal story driven.
Lore was dismantled.
Clearly someone rebuilt him. Hopefully they fixed him!
You mean the alien of the week episodes. That's how they basically did The Original and the first 2 years of TNG. Then they hired Michael Piller for season 3 and on and did more of a serial driven stories. If it wasn't for Michael Piller TNG probably wouldn't of gone beyond season 3, just like the Original.
@@josephcasanova1975 And also, I have to say, DS9 still had weekly adventures, but was able to put that into an overall long story arc that worked beautifully. From what Ive heard, the new season of discovery is going more in that direction as well, albeit doing so in 10 episodes rather than 24. Which may be why season long story arcs work. It would be harder if it were 24...but boy do I miss a full length season.
It's so amazing hearing and seeing all of them again. Can't wait.
It's not the full cast without Miles O'brien. Colm Meaney was in 52 episodes of TNG including the very first and last episodes. He deserves at least a shout out.
Colm Meaney said in an interview that he was pretty much done with Trek. He felt very good about what he did with it & was fine to put it behind him, but said he would always be open to reading a new script.
So we’ll see!
He's also got the second most episodes under his belt, second only to Michael Dorn.

not just any ODYSSEY It the USS enterprise NCC1701-F
In 1994, I had the pleasure of seeing Spiner at a convention in Sacramento, and someone asked him about Lore. He said something to the effect of that even though Lore had been "dismantled" he had a vision of the pieces of him rolling around in a cargo bay, and somehow the head rolls until it makes contact with the body, and then an arm...
The producers had previously said we should not expect to see Lore in Picard (Season 1) because he was such a two-dimensional villain that he would seem out of place in modern Trek, and it's unlikely he would ever return. Of course, the Internet has been so flooded with excitement over his return that I can't find it now. (maybe I was remembering B4?)
Moriarty -- he was at the end of his character arc too, set to explore the universe with Countess Regina Bartholomew inside a little box. Curious that he's back, I wonder how they'll explain it.
Could be they brought him back to fight Lore... would be a good excuse to pull him from the memory cube.

I am glad I saw 👀 Q again worried that was a character that was going to be brushed aside in today's bad writing age pay of was ok but I'm happy we got to see him
Season 3 of Picard was splendid!
Because Star Trek at its core is war and vengeance.
I'm predicting that this trailer will be the script for the entire season.
Robert Meyer Burnett - who has seen the show - actually says the trailer teases all but tells you nothing (see his breakdown of the trailer video - the post-geek singularity).
Hope Worf gets to mention a one-liner, at least, about Alexander and his whereabouts (hopefully not dead). It would tie together nicely with the TNG episode where Alexander grows up to be a pacifist himself.
Nobody cares about Alexander, his older character was a complete joke and the whole work father thing never worked and should be dead and buried.
I am almost positive Alexander was killed in a DS9 episode where he took the helm of a Klingon ship and fought in a glorious battle.
Well, if you're interested... After TNG, Worf joins the cast of DS9. In the 6th season, the Federation, Klingons and Romulans are at war with the Dominion and Worf is assigned as first officer to a Klingon ship. Alexander comes back to the series as a young Klingon crew member, and has dreams to be a klingon warrior, but he's literally useless in all aspects of being a warrior. He's basically the ship idiot; everyone makes fun of him and he's only used as comic relief. Worf is hugely disappointed in him as always, but comes to accept him. Alexander lives to the end of DS9. Beyond that, nobody knows.
@@mrsinistertoyou Darn Mandelta Effect. I was certain he died and made Worf proud of him for his bravery. Oh well. I guess my reality had a better ending.😅😇
In STO, Alexander is dead (sacrifices himself for Worf). In a novel he is still alive. On memory alpha he is still marked as alive. I donno, take whatever source you accept.

As fully-reported, Patrick Stewart only came back because he wanted the previous storylines first. It wasn't always about what the audience wanted, first, but what the story needed. He wasn't interested in rehashing old stuff. He wanted character growth and a real human story behind the characters. That's why he's been one of the executive producers all along. It was Stewart that said yes, but only after all of his requirements for a very different set of stories was met. This third season is only a thing because of the first two. He didn't want 'the old'. I do wish folks would understand the actors and actually listen to the process behind the writing, since some of them were directly involved (well, Stewart was directly involved).

It has also been confirmed - by Robert Meyer Burnett - that he kills a lot of people with that sword. Also, Worf changed massively as a character - Commander Worf, at the end of DS9 was very different from Lt Worf at the start of TNG. He then went off to be an ambassador and is now Captain rank (see the character reveal trailer). That would have changed him. Picard and Sisko rubbed off on him no doubt. Besides, Worf was always a fish out of water. He did not fit. This sort of character is likely to pursue different paths. Not all Klingons are warriors - some are cooks, some scientists, some engineers, some probably do nothing - honour is key, but not necessarily violence. It has been over 20 years since we saw him. It can't all be exactly like it was on the Enterprise-D.
@@nicksinger1705 to the point of not even defending oneself. it means seeking only peaceful solutions or not at all. thats a great ideal but thats not how the real world works. nor even the make believe world of star trek as thousands of past conflicts attest to.
ie so not a real pacifist. just a warrior sick of war. not an uncommon thing amongst warriors whove survived their wars. yes, hed grown and matured as a character. something real star trek excelled at. and neither of them were pacifists either. and thats the appeal of the worf character and a credit to micheal dorns acting chops. no one said they were. i was just pointing out that pacifism is not logical end goal of a warrior. they know there will sadly likely always be more wars to fight if one wants to live in peace. no but it could be REAL star trek. which is expecting too much from anything kurtman is involved in. he clearly hates the franchise as it existed before him.
@@thurin84 - just so you know Kurtzman wasn’t really involved in this season. Terry Matalas was given free rein. He knows Trek. He is a Trek geek. I don’t agree on your definition of pacifism. Like any ideology it is complex and has different strands. It is a remarkable though - there is almost a script out there for Picard haters! This season will be different. I am trying to give all old TNG fans a chance - permission to enjoy even if you really don’t want to. Watch some of Robert Meyer Burnett stuff - he hates Picard season 1 and 2 - and all modern Trek - with a passion. He has seen season 3 and loved it.
Remember when Star Trek used to be warm, friendly, coozy exploration show that explored the uknown.
I don't know if anyone noticed that Odyssey class starship in 1:52, the one with NCC-1701-F marking, the starship Enterprise
Finally. A proper season of Picard. As long as these heavy weights draw breath, they should continue beyond Season 3. Not only for the fans, but for the mission statement. May they continue to teach us valuable lessons. May they continue seeking out new life and new civilizations. May they continue to bring Humanity together. Make it so.☝
It’s just a TV show.
Also the salary for this TNG cast is immense. Far above the budget a weekly TV show could afford.
@@electrictroy2010 That's your opinion not mine. As for salary, they're making whatever someone is offering. Nothing wrong with that.
Great actors? Yes. Same horrible writers as S1 & S2? Also yes. You can’t give good actors bad story and expect it to turn out well. This will probably wreck TNG forever.
@@socialcommentary1014 If you like this trailer, then you have no idea what TNG is about. They just want the nostalgia. They saw it when they were kids now they want to see stuff blowing up. Social media, amazing visuals and streaming have destroyed people's minds.
Holy sh*t. Moriarty and Lore. Hopefully this will be the send off the TNG crew so rightly deserves
Seeing Moriarty and Lore made me squee out loud.
I got goosebumps.
We already got that. It was the last episode. This is just cynical attempt to exploit nostalgia to make money and get viewers back who left after how terrible the show Picard was
When I saw moriarity I fainted this is gonna be gud
I was really surprised with the appearance of Moriarty and Lore I didn't expecting it! it will be a spectacular last season I can't wait! 🤩
Nice to see Daniel Davis back. Haven't seen him in anything since The Nanny went off...
According to the Nanny reunion shows, he did a lot of stuff on theater stages and broadway.
Anybody remember a time when Star Trek was about exploration??
Season title: Member Berries
Riker & Worf bickering is a true classic. I can’t wait for the TNG team to be reunited. 🥹
Lookin forward to it. Thanks to the cast for all agreeing to it.
The gang's all back together!!!
The enterprise F, one of my favorite enterprises, and arguably my favorite star trek ship, I'll watch this show for that alone
You are definitely a bot
Worf still looks like a complete badass. Guess it doesn't matter how many years go by, dude just has it.
"I live My life a quarter impulse at a time" ~ Riker
Here's to hoping Moriarty isn't used as a decoy like the EMH in First Contact.
I just want to see the "fire everything we've got" scene.
Jesus is coming soon!
1 Thessalonians 4 KJV
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

1 Corinthians 15 KJV
1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
Romans 3 KJV
25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
