Awe! sweet memories! Ever since i came to USA from Russia back in mid 90s, I fell in love with STAR TREK!!! Still watch ALL of them EVERY YEAR!!! It became my obsession! NOT the TREKER yet... but deeply in love with that MASTERPIECE of GREAT GENE RODDENBERRY. Truly , Gene created a whole new UNIVERSE!! The world became orphan without him!!!
Such an odd thing with TV shows we grew up with, feeling so timeless. You can rewatch these iconic characters, and forget that they’ve aged decades! For me some of these actors are the same age as my dad, which feels so surreal!
They will never know the gifts they have given us. They will never know how much we love them. They will never know how much more we would have loved them had they filmed in widescreen.
I saw the first Star Trek when I was 10 in 1966 when it came on the air all the star tracks have made my life just a little bit better thanks to Gene Roddenberry and all the actors and actresses that made those stories come to life
In 1987 I was 21 years old going to college. Had it not been for ST-TNG and reruns of ST-TOS, I'd have never made it through school. I graduated in May, 1989. Life has been very very good ever since! I still watch both series today more than occasionally. I plan to retire in under three years. I am 56 now, will be 59 then. . . . what a life! THANK YOU STAR TREK!
The funniest was Patrick Stewart having a visitor badge on, like everyone doesn't know who the hell he is🤣 And I'm sure he has security at a convention 😂
Holy smokes - was it really that long ago?! I never got into any of the later series, but TNG was very good. Compelling stories, well written. Patrick Stewart was head and shoulders above most of the rest of the cast in terms of acting ability, but they all were petty competent. I think they were a heck of a lot better than ham-handed Shatner.
I never noticed until looking back but TNG was so stuffy. DS-9 ended up being my favorite. It dropped so much of the Federation stuffiness, and had a pallet of characters with so many truly well developed.
William S. Is an ass!! I never watched Star Trek Enterprise even though I liked Scott bakula and I absolutely loved Star Trek DS9 but I did not like Voyager for obvious reasons. And I forget the other Star Trek when they had I think it was called discoveries but I never saw that.
I think one of the funniest things about P. Stew is that he started off resistant to the rest of the casts' before take shenanigans, but within a few seasons was participating and by the end was one of the worst. ruclips.net/video/pHXg9oKoWak/видео.html as an example.
I was born in 1985. I'm 36 now. Growing up my family was like.. "eww, don't watch stuff like that!" So I didn't.. 36 years later, I am 6 episodes away from finishing ALL of "The Next Generation" I love it so much and hate that I've missed out for so long.
You should watch DS9, too. I grew up on TOS, was a first skeptical about TNG but love it. Then I thought DS9 was too dark, but love it, too. Now I need to watch all of the Voyager and Enterprise episodes.
@@callicordova4066 I just looked up DS9 and I am going to watch it! I have 3 episodes of The Next Generation left. I feel sad it's almost over. I have really enjoyed it.
We're all getting so old, makes me kinda sad . Star Trek (all iterations) has been one of the greatest joys in my life since its very beginning in 1966. Lord of The Rings and Game of Thrones are close competitors though .
I met most of the TNG cast at various Cons (late 80's - early 90's). Had lots of fun with them. This was nicely done, but WHY did you have a picture of Michael Dorn as Robert O'Reilly's Gowron ? That stood out as a huge error. O'Reilly showed up unexpectedly at a Con where Jonathan Frakes was headlining .. came out of the audience & up on the stage & the 2 of them were hilarious together. Of all the casts (TOS, TNG, DS9, VOY, ENT), TNG was the closest knit, playing off one another so well .. which transferred into their performances & made the show extremely popular. I remember after the cliff hanger of BoBW ... EVERYBODY was talking about what was going to happen .. people I never suspected were ST fans. Great memories. We're ALLolder now but the memories are still great.
@@jonathanbair523 Yeah, the TNG cast cut up quite a bit ... which probably explains why it was a good day to get 7-8 minutes of usable film on any given day. There are lots of 'blooper' reels, but their escapes go way beyond that. John DeLancy (Q) told a story where he had to appear on the set NUDE (after the Continuum stripped him of his powers .. and clothes). Funny stuff. Spiner & Frakes were the usual leaders of pranks, which upset P. Stewart initially .. but after he was certain that this show was going to go on for many seasons, he joined in.
They all look wonderful. No facelifts, just wonderfully and naturally aged, the most beautiful way as God intended. I can see their humility just gushing through each of them. Thanks for the memories.
Hard to believe how long ago the start of TNG was! I still remember a chat show in the U.K. that introduced the TNG characters just before the series debuted…
Met her by chance once. Very sweet woman. Reminded me of my grandmother. I recognized her while people around me did not and she took the time to chat for twenty minutes.
Patric Stewart is remarkably unchanged. Looks maybe 10 or 15 years older max and it was 35 years ago. Great show with lessons relevant then and now without coming off preachy.

Awe! sweet memories!
For me some of these actors are the same age as my dad, which feels so surreal!
except wil wheaton still looking like in mid 20s
@@oliknow he gained some more baby fat 😂
I couldn't have said it better myself, makes me a little sad to see how much time has passed
But they weren't 30 years ago?
One of the best tv shows ever made.
Gowron changed the most
This was my show. It was so awesome! I watched with my whole family.
I love this show, I was 14 when it came out, and it was THE THING to watch! Couldn’t wait until Wednesday night! 😁
Who got infected 1st.... ???
They will never know the gifts they have given us.
They will never know how much we love them.
They will never know how much more we would have loved them had they filmed in widescreen.
Gowron has changed the most out of everyone in my opinion. @4:24
Indeed. I had no idea Robert O'Reilly used to be a black man.
I always imagine Gowron looking more klingon......hes just a human with a baseball cap, grey sweater, and glasses....who knew..
I saw the first Star Trek when I was 10 in 1966 when it came on the air all the star tracks have made my life just a little bit better thanks to Gene Roddenberry and all the actors and actresses that made those stories come to life
Oh I left out all the writers who wrote those stories
They're still beautiful I love watching them now can't get enough of Star Trek Love you all ❤❤❤
I must say most of them have aged really well like a fine wine! We should all be so lucky!
Apparently, most people in the 80' looked 10 years younger than they were
How nostalgic!
I recorded it every week.
I still watch it from time to time.
A lot of them look better now than they did then.
I love Star Trek both the first and fhe next generation.
Grew up with tng. Thanks for the adventure. Thanks for the memories.
Good to know Dukat was posing as Romulan at the same time being chief of Terok Nor
G'Kar was too apparently.
Had to get away from all the assassination attempts
Thank you so much for this video. TNG and its cast were and are very special to me. Beautiful background music choice as well.
It’s remarkable how many of them are still alive. I’m thankful to see the smiling faces.
unlike Babylon 5....
I love Star Trek very much..
Starring by great artists...
Thank you for the great petformance..!!
Patrick Stewart is eternal, maybe a gift from Q :)
I believe that this Star Trek next generation was the best of them all I learn a lot from these people and just wait we will learn a lot more
The funniest was Patrick Stewart having a visitor badge on, like everyone doesn't know who the hell he is🤣 And I'm sure he has security at a convention 😂
That is Captain Picard having a visitor badge on at Starfleet like no one knows who he is. That’s from the new Picard show.
@@dominikg4818 ? Yeah that is what I just said?
@@davidamoritz no, that’s not what you said.
@@davidamoritz no it’s not
love that cast is still friends after 30-plus years. oh I was 11 in 1987, feeling old now sigh
@@regsun7947 totally agree. Just finished rewatching DS9 again and it's head and shoulders above the rest of the franchise
William S. Is an ass!!
I never watched Star Trek Enterprise even though I liked Scott bakula and I absolutely loved Star Trek DS9 but I did not like Voyager for obvious reasons. And I forget the other Star Trek when they had I think it was called discoveries but I never saw that.
I grew up watching TNG live as a kid.... Seeing kinda makes the time hit home...
"Armin Shimerman as Daimon Bractor" **shows pic of him as Quark from Deep Space Nine.**
I noticed a few mistakes in the video.
Yes
Makes me almost want to cry seeing how time passes and people change.
We're all getting so old, makes me kinda sad .
Star Trek (all iterations) has been one of the greatest joys in my life since its very beginning in 1966.
Lord of The Rings and Game of Thrones are close competitors though .
The alternative to getting old isn't much to look forward to, so I'll take getting old for now. :D

Bunch of beautiful actors sharing their gifts.
Uma das melhores series que eu já vi em toda minha vida. Star Trek The next Generation supera os limites do espetacular!!!
Uni is that
Was really cool to get to hear Frakes, Sirtis, Dorn Crosby and De lancie do the voice acting for the game Xcom 2. Fun game.
Excellent! One of my favorite series…some cast looks better now…
Thanks for this lovely tribute to one of my favorite tv show!
They all aged exceptionally well. Some of them improved. Then again, I have aged along with them!
That was my favorite show when it came out and still is. I can't it was that long ago! I feel so old now...
Невероятная ностальгия,как не хватает этих героев
Wow, watching this makes me feel old.
I love hearing the stories like where they tried to make the rest of the staff crack up doing faces while they had there back to the camera...
I absolutely loved TNG, I was surprised that most of the cast was already in there late 30s and 40s when they started
Or Andreas who also played Ge’Kar in Babylon 5. He was a awesome character Actor
They all look wonderful. No facelifts, just wonderfully and naturally aged, the most beautiful way as God intended. I can see their humility just gushing through each of them. Thanks for the memories.
Uma jornada que nunca tem fim para todos os fãs !!!
Hard to believe how long ago the start of TNG was! I still remember a chat show in the U.K. that introduced the TNG characters just before the series debuted…
Sad to know that out of the actors shown, the Enterprise's computer voice actress has already passed. I love her voice.
I read that she recorded a load of extra stuff before she died so that her voice could be used in the future in TV and Movies for Trek.
Met her by chance once. Very sweet woman. Reminded me of my grandmother. I recognized her while people around me did not and she took the time to chat for twenty minutes.
@@Eightbitswide Wow, That's awesome!
like fingernails on chalkboard
You know she was gene roddenberrys wife yeah..🙄
Everyone has aged amazingly well, especially Will Wheaton and Colm Meaney - they still look exactly the same!
Gates McFadden and Michelle Forbes- woof!!!
Almost impossible not to cry watching this 😢
Patric Stewart is remarkably unchanged. Looks maybe 10 or 15 years older max and it was 35 years ago. Great show with lessons relevant then and now without coming off preachy.
he even looks the same as when he appeared in Dune
He changed in he took a good character and shat all over his past performances.
for me all that changed on him are the color of his eye brows, the dimple of his chin, and his skin has lost elasticity. But boy he is STILL in shape!
Re: Lanai Chapman: 1) I didn't realize she was only a teenager playing a crewman on TNG. 2) Both Chapman and Whoopi Goldberg played daughter and mother in the 2001 movie "Rat Race"
Thanks for posting takes me back to my childhood
Some great memories from this show.
They've all aged magnificently!
Just awesome seeing these faces after all these years. They are the family that I never had and I’m so glad that I was raised when the show first started. 2022.
I love TNG best of all the star treks. I would rewatch the show on Netflix. We will never get a great show like this again, a show that focuses on today's society issues. So sad to see them age. I hope they continue to live long and healthy.
*live long and prosper :)
Thank you for a lovely presentation !
Most everyone looks fabulous, especially Marina Sirtis! I was so in love with her!
One of my favorite TV shows from the beginning!🖖🏽
Based on the number of errors in this, I'm going out on a limb and saying you didn't watch the show.
I met John de Lancie at a Star Trek convention. 😊
NICE! 👍
