Richard and Noel need to be on every single big fat quiz.
Noel and Richard have both moved on, and posting this comment on every single BFG will nae manifest their future appearance...
@@datgrrl5698 Richard Ayoade was on the last one in 2023 so at least he hasn't moved on...
if only
Richard and Noel should be locked in an apartment together and streamed 24/7
❤
I love when jimmy loses control of the classroom 😂
Mel being like a mom disappointed in hearing the slang "tit up" was great.
I am familiar with Anerican usage in which "tits up" means dead or broken/failed. Very different from what he meant.
'Oooh Jack" LOL!!
Mel is so dear, and self-aware. They are all so easily in-sync with one another. I laugh myself silly.
"self aware" while saying someone eles is ghastly?
@@metalbat8414woahhhhh rude, Mel’s lovely
Jack is on a team with his friend's mom. Lol "Oh Jack... "
Not me being proud of myself for knowing the answers and then realising I know them because I have seen this program before 😂
Lol
Chelsea Peretti's reactions make this. Americans having to join and make sense of this show always makes me laugh.
She does seem a bit confused by the general sarcastic mocking and surreal tangents 😂🙌🏽🫶🏼
@@MsClaudzshe just has a dry flat deliver style
@@TheJeaneanBrooklyn 99 lol
The old Gregg reference from Noel made my heart oh so happy and I bet it went over so many heads 🥲
They even hinted at his downstairs mixup earlier
Same, I was so delighted and feel like it didn't get the laugh it deserved
Make an assessment!
Love games?
What I can't figure out is *how* Noel & Richard, despite fvcking about and writing silly answers for the entire show, *always* end up with the most points.
They are the cleverest in the room by miles.
Maybe they get double points just to even things up?
1 joke answer and 1 real answer
Near the end of the quiz they always shift to getting more answers right. Comedy is all well and good but they also want to win. 😅
Noel is quietly competitive. He was the same on Taskmaster. He was so abstract and absurdist and...Noel...that he just came in and won. He wasn't the aggressively competitive player that Ed Gamble was, but he was equally competitive (if that makes sense)
Noel could narrate paint drying, and it would still be f*cking fabulous.
probably one of the best panels : I love every one of them and they all have their own kind of humor. Chelsea Peretti fits right in while still remaining in that" fish out of water" role.
The one with Mel b is painful for many to watch but you have to be understanding and remember that she was battling drug addiction due to being in an absolutely toxic abusive marriage at the time. Somebody even released a version of the big fat quiz of 2014 with her completely removed from the entirety of it which forced the removal of a few funny jokes as well.
@@nybbleme I did not know that. It could explain why She had such a "defensive" behavior then. She didn't want anyone to have fun about her. I Hope she's better now.
7:54 Richard caught off guard by being called an idiot because it's the first time he's heard someone say that to him 😂
“Look love, let’s just sort this out in the car …” 😝
Mel's "Oh, Jack!" was brutal!
9:30
… and it was one of the most dangerous stunts ever performed. Many of the crew walked off the set because they did not want to watch Keaton be crushed to death by the house. 100% real.
Noel and Richard are absolutely legendary!! We need more of their hysterical nonsense in this world! ❤❤❤😂😂😂
"Richard, you look cool... cover me to the plinth!" Mel is a treasure 😂
Noel during the "Producer" bit cracks me up
I love Mel's disappointed Mum look and voice 😂
Most people forget that the reason Sylvester Stallone was cast in "Rocky" was because he wrote the movie.
And his screenplay was nominated for an Oscar!
He had to sell his fucking dog to get that movie made, so everytime we see him cry, its 100% real. Hes thinking about that dog
@@RealAmericanSanta suffering for your art isn't supposed to be that literal :(
@RealAmericanSanta
Do you mean he cried tears of joy?
As I understand it, he sold the dog (for either $25 or $40) to buy food when he was broke, then bought the dog back once he sold the script, which means he had the dog back when they were filming. I think it was the dog in the film.
Very few people forget that.
"over his face?" lmao
"I think that's really strong" is such a good way to react to a joke
It is a really strong joke too
Also Jimmy's being such a good sport playing along with Noel's commentary on his reaction
All of them going Erruuuurrrraaahhh aahhh. Eeehhh. Urrrrrr oohhhrr. At the same time😂
I love Noel Fielding so much lol
Chelsea Peretti looks like she wasn't quite informed on what exactly to expect on a show like this :D
Richard Ayoade winning something which involves intelligence and knowledge? Fancy that! The man is quite probably a literal genius.
I love the fact that John and Chelsea, and Jack and Mel both tried to go along the technically correct route for the film quotes question but because of the specific nature of the question it's like the one situation where both of their answers were completely incorrect
if Mell hadn't said anything about the trousers nobody would've noticed
I've never identified with a comedian more
7:50 Noel & Richard talking about Richard's handwriting and their marital problems for about 1 minute.
I swear this channel names their videos like they're shorts. But I suppose Big Fat Quiz 202x - part x/8 would be less watched.
They need a series where they are given free creative reign, the outcome would be EPIC!
Chelsea is genuinely one of the funniest people and way underrated.
Jimmy's laugh is like something out of a horror movie 😱
Love Richard and Noel 👌🏻🤣
12:30 Noel saying 'plimph' 😄
12:00 it's Old Greg!
Gotta give the people what they want.
At first, I wasn't following very well, but then I caught onto the rhythm and structure and it was good...
This show is exactly like teaching middle school 😂
Richard Ayoade winning something which involves intelligence and knowledge? Fancy that!
I love that Richard and Noel are the ones behaving this time 😂😂😂
Chelsea nailing the Waterphone and getting not a single bit of recognition was a bit sad :(
You know you have won with your show's host and guests when they are so funny they make everyone forget what the show is about even if it's for just a little while. Noel and Richard need to be given their own network..........and a satellite as well, Jimmy should be there just to frown at them and tell them they're stupid. 🤣🤣🤣.
I’m not going to lie, I was sure they were going to say, “presumably by people who have never seen Citizen Kane.”
Yeah it’s an utter waste of time 😆 it’s emperor’s new clothes…
@@angelaryder7777 Amen!!! I thought it was extremely predictable and also fairly boring. I’m not surprised some people like it, and if I am really bored I could see it as a junk throw away movie that I could somewhat enjoy watching as a one-off. I have definitely seen much worse movies that have high critical acclaim. But I have never personally understood how such a mundane movie is regularly regarded as one of the most, if not the most important movies of all time. I admit part of it might be that there was a novelty about it at the time that is lost to me because I didn’t see it in its time, kind of like many kids today don’t understand how amazing Star Wars was for its time and also how much Star Wars changed the entire industry and is even directly responsible for the creation of a lot of the technology that is used in films today. But I still think “the emperor hasn’t got any clothes” is BY FAR the best description I have ever heard in this particular case.
Busters shoes weren't nailed down, there was a nail in the ground where he had to stand.
Anyone else get the Old Gregg call back?
I thought “tits up” meant “dead”. Like “belly up”.
Gone "tits up" means gone wrong
It does but he’s saying tit up like feel up. Without the -s
Oh man, for that first question I was going to say they were all lines said in succession in the classic 90's film the Mask lol. I always lose in nowadays Qi
Richard and Noel, rent a room!
Was expecting her to dump water all over the stage, but I guess they presumed someone was gonna do that...
Why is this clip not called “It’s a Producer”?? That was the joke on which they built the show! As stated!! 😂
Loved the Old Gregg reference! X

You're the boss of comedy if you can crack up Jimmy Carr 😅
Another classic XD
I could have sworn that producer was a glass harmonica.
It was, but it broke.
@@rachelglaser4729 That'll teach them to let Rob near the glassware.
Giggles aside I wish people would stop mocking Sly Stallone for the way he speaks. Part of his face was paralyzed due to a bout with Bell's Palsy. They're making fun of him for having a disability.
Also, he wrote “Rocky,” and turned down a big payday to play the role himself. Not saying he’s an amazing actor or anything, but give the man a bit of respect at least.
That part was crazy to me too! I thought I entered the twilight zone lol

Which BFQ is this? I need to watch the whole thing. I don't recognize any of this, which means it's one of the few episodes i haven't seen yet.
2013 but it is in shit quality here on YT. I am surprised the BBC even archived the HD version of this.
@@masterTigress96 What has the BBC to do with it ? This is a Channel 4 programme.
@@rmvdhaak I stand corrected, you are right. It is ITV4. I have been watching too many old BBC programs that are sadly lost to the ages and only available on VHS quality...

Nice ol Greg reference. Bailey's. Lol
11:53 the olde Gregg reference omfg
BFQY always a treat!
This show needs to cross the pond!
I've seen an episode of Would I Lie to You? where Mel is embarrassed to stand up because of her trousers (she's wearing overalls with the top down so you cant see it when she sits). I hope at some point the dear lady starts keeping in mind when she's dressing that she may have/want to stand up!
I don't get it. What was wrong with her trousers?
@@Secretgeek2012 they are fine, but its standard for people on uk TV to be dressed somewhat formally. Its rare you see presenters or guests wearing jeans or overalls.

Does Jimmy ever really have control- especially if Noel and Richard are playing 😂
Ugh, so disappointing that Mel TRULY didn't comprehend what a waterphone is, AND, it wasn't filled w/water, which is what makes it work. SO disappointing.
The thing is, this is the second time I’ve seen it and I still didn’t know the answers.😮

😂😂😂 hilarious
Sylvester Stallone impressions in 2024 are exhausting.
This clip is from 2016 friend.
My favorite episode
Which year is this one from?
It's a bit deep to go on about Stallone's slur for that long, considering it's a result of an issue he had since birth. Probably why Peretti didn't make comment. Knew better.
Jonathan Ross is an older version of Chris Broad
When will Jimmy Carr finally come out and admit he's transitioning into Ty Burrell?
mel saying that about sly isn't saying much lmao. Ghastly
I do like Chelsea !
😂
😐 The whole Stallone bit was cringe af. I am too old to say that but this is the perfect word for it.
It is a bit cringey, mostly because they don't know that he has some paralysis in his face. Then again, they make fun of Jonathan's speech impediment with no hesitation either! What bothers me the most is the notion that the Brits have that Stallone is stupid. He wrote the script for Rocky (it's a very good script) and, when I've seen him interviewed, he's an extremely intelligent person, with a lot of depth too. A pretty good artist as well. Ah well.
Sylvester Stallone has a condition which causes his speech.
.
"At his birth, the physician used forceps in his delivery, unintentionally severing a nerve and resulting in the paralysis of his lip, chin, and part of his tongue. As his face drooped, his speech pattern morphed into what we recognize today."
... I googled "Sylvester Stallone speech" ... this is from the first result.
its important to note this is filmed live - the cast/contestants dont have access to google on hand....
