Now if we could get the dream episode. The Enterprise A and the Enterprise D... Both saving the day one more but together.
it was a sad day when the Duras Sisters destroyed her on Veridian III but Geordi restored her. Enterprise D is back and she has earned her place of honor in the Federation Museum next to the other relics.
No other Enterprise will ever be Big D. Even after all the changes to the franchise, and attempts to "modernize" the designs of starships, the D still just oozes "futuristic." While also screaming "90's" at the top of it's lungs. I just wish my Madre could have been around to see the ending of this series, and the return of this crew and ship. 😢 When I was a little dude, her and I never missed and episode of TNG.

Absolutely, and you know why ? Not only it was our "home" back in the day, but it was the dream of our generation of the 80s and 90s! The positivity, the hope in a better future, the hope that we CAN change it to the better, that humanity has potential for the GREATEST! It stood for optimism and so much more. And it remembers us to a time that hopefully will come again even better, i truly hope there will be a change in the world to a good future. Thats is why this hits sooo deep, its about us, all of us and what this show stood for!
The fact that many of us havent seen this ship since we were children is like seeing an old friend and a member of the family fornthe first time in years. It gets me all the time and im 40 married with 3 kids

According to the wiki, the E was heavily damaged during the finale of Prodigy, and the F was launched two years later. May or may not be a coincidence.
"Fate protects fools, little children... and ships named Enterprise." Haven't watched much Star Trek in years, but this 90's kid had the hairs on the back of his neck standing on end as the Big D powered up. Damn, that was emotional!
I'm actually crying now. Took me back to better days and regained my constant hope for our future! WELL DONE... Jonathan Frakes, Marina Sirtis, LeVar Burtan, Michael Dorn, and everyone not excuding Sir Patrick Stewart! Seeing this made me turn my life around.
Star trek picard season 3 episode 9 vox. Uss enterprise d were attacked by klingon ship in the Star trek generations. When admiral captain picard was saying the uss enterprise d. But how? Geordi La Forge said the Uss enterprise d were rebuild from captain Scott and real name Scotty. Captain Picard said she will fly again. When I saw the Uss Enterprise d again it make me happy. 😅
Ah, but this isn't a remake; it's a return to the core roots. Reaching back to the past to teach the future generations how to proceed. It is, without question, a masterpiece.
Seeing the Enterprise D and the TNG crew gave me a brief feeling of that hopefulness for the future of humanity that I got from watching TNG as a kid. The hopefulness that has been all but dashed in the last twenty years by the degenerating of human behavior and politics. What a wonderful reminder that we can still overcome our flaws as a species! 😊

This is how you plant a landing. They did here what they initially did in the first Star Trek movie with showing off Kirks Enterprise getting the refits. When I saw this scene, I wept such manly tears. To see her (Enterprise-D) once again in all her glory was such a moving moment. Such a beautiful moment and a beautiful ship. No other ship compares.
This was my Enterprise, TNG was the first ST series I remember watching and seeing her brought to life once more brings tears of joy to my eyes. "You treat her like a lady, and she'll always bring you home."
The music. Just wow. Every trekkie will recognize the music at 3:13 is from the original Star Trek Motion Picture when the Enterprise is first being revealed at the beginning of the film. But a subtle nod is made to "Star Trek: Generations" in the chords you hear when they first step out of the turbolift--which was the last time we saw the Enterprise D in action. Hats off to the composer(s) here.
She brings a tear to me eye. There has never been a more beautiful spaceship. And look at that bridge. Who wouldnt want to travel through space in that ship??
Michael Dorn (Worf) came right out and said that, unlike the militaristic bridges of other ships, the bridge of the D feels like a living room, where one goes to relax. I don't care what anyone says, Jack may be a Constitution-class man, but give me a Galaxy class any day. Honestly, I'd prefer the D over the E.
After 9 episodes of the dark interior of the Titan, we get the bright bridge of the Enterprise D. Like it was telling everyone that there was still a bright future ahead of them.
Used to watch TNG with my dad growing up and not that hes not here watching this scene was probably the most emotional tv/movie scene ive ever watched, he really would have loved this so so much, this is how its done!
It’s like seeing someone you were once in love with once, 30 years later. I was 10 when the show came out and it was instantly my favourite show of all time. I was never a big fan of them making the E a damn warship. That isn’t what the enterprise ever was. She is meant to be the big regal lady and that is exactly what the D always was. There was a reason this show was always the number one rated show on TV. Thank you Terry for giving me an hour of pure enjoyment.
Watching it again and it still gives me goosebumps and welling up of pure joy seeing her again. This will always be my version of Enterprise. She is perfection. If only then made Star Trek series like TNG again.
Very emotional. Season 3 was a worthy ending of TNG after the weak first two seasons. Seeing the 1701 D and hearing the iconic soundtrack gave me goosebumps. This show literaly changed my life. Back then in my early teenage years I was about to get on a wrong path, my grades in school went to shit, I didn't care for anything. This show showed me the beauty of science, astronomy and philosophy. Years later I went to university. TNG is a major reason to get me back on track.
Just finished watching S3. I donno if this scene was more emotional for the viewers, or the cast. What a beautiful tribute, and what a way to send off the show. As much as I want them to continue, this would be a perfect send off.
My aunt got me into Star Trek as was a huge Trekkie. She would let me stay up way past my bedtime to watch TNG when she babysat me. Unfortunately she passed a week before this episode aired. Seeing the Enterprise D resurrected broke me. In a way it was like she reach down from heaven for one last ride as the our Beloved Enterprise D got. ❤
It’s been 9 months since this came out and I still go back to watch my beautiful Enterprise be unveiled again. When I saw the museum my first thought was “it’s gonna be the E, isn’t it” then I saw that D and went “HOW THE FUCK!?!?”. Seeing the ship, hearing the computer again…..I openly cried and still get emotional when rewatching

"She's a good ship, and she's got the right name. You treat her like a lady, and she'll aways bring you home." - Admiral Leonard McCoy ("Encounter at Farpoint")
This was just as much the old crew remembering the bridge of their old ship as it was the actors reminiscing the set of the show that made them household names.

I never thought I would see a federation Starbase roll over when it is destroyed, I would have thought there would be a cool explosion not it rolling over and playing dead when the shields failed.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
She is a thing of beauty. After all the dimly lit starship bridges on this series to accent its darker tone, the bright lights of the resurrected Enterprise-D speak of hope and optimism, just as she did on TNG.
This moment made me cry. While I was ok after seeing Star Trek Generations, losing the Enterprise D hurt a lot, probably as much as losing the original Enterprise in Star Trek III. But when the D showed up on the screen and Picard says, “Oh, yes. She’ll fly.” It felt so good to see the ship I literally grew up with make a glorious return, for one last flight with her original crew, one last confrontation with the Borg. This season meant everything to me as a fan.
OMG, they really pulled everything out of the bag! The entire senior staff!! The ships!!!! The Enterprise D!!!!! I would be lying if I say I didn't get emotional. I shed tears. Wow. I was raised watching TNG and all it's variant series after that. Star Trek Picard brought ALL of it back in one massive series!!! Total nostalgia in present day. I hope they keep this legacy going or at least, this timeline. Not the stupid Chris Pine, JJ Abram Star Trek reboot.
For me personally, Season 3 of Picard is also the long-awaited and missed real final season No. 8 of TNG. A fitting and honorable conclusion for the grand old lady and her crew. And I hope that Captain Riker finally gets his deserved admiral rank, and Data regains his rank as captain.

I told my friend that didn't see the season, because season 2 was....well you know. I said your either gonna be crying or jump up screaming "f#&* yeah" close to the end of the season.
You’re not the only one.

The Enterprise D never failed us when we needed her the most, she wasn’t about to start now
She was going to make sure History never forgot the name Enterprise and make sure that the Borg didn’t forget either
"Let us make sure that history, never forgets the name... Enterprise!"
This not just a welcome home to the crew, but a welcome home to all of us who fell in love with TNG. I will admit... I cry every time I watch this scene. How all of use missed the Enterprise D... Now if we could get the dream episode. The Enterprise A and the Enterprise D... Both saving the day one more but together.
And the Defiant!

it was a sad day when the Duras Sisters destroyed her on Veridian III but Geordi restored her. Enterprise D is back and she has earned her place of honor in the Federation Museum next to the other relics.
You 4got USS V'ger. 🖖
I loved this. We all needed this.
I am sure Madre have seen it. Even he is in a better place. My ex roommate is a big Trekkie as my mother.

Picard season 3 is the most perfect Star Trek movie ever made. A true labor of love and it comes through.
It truly was.
I think it's the best TNG ever!
Here here
YOU call this bullshit perfect ?! Seems you didnt watch TNG and you didnt catch whole series basics
@@prometeusz1000It's just thier opinion man.
I didn’t expect to get so emotional seeing the Enterprise-D return. The E is may favorite version, but there’s still something so Nostalgic about The D, it almost brought me to tears seeing her in one piece again.
I feel the same way. The E may be my favorite, but the D and voyager were my childhood. So both scenes hit me in the feels.
I say this for all of us treckies mate :3 ur not the only one that at the time of this scene was experiencing this sense of nostalgia seeing the big D reborn and fully restored which was like a starfleet phoenix reborn from the federation ashes of veridian 3.
The nostalgia part comes from 7 years of tv episodes. E only had 3 movies so there weren’t very many memorable episodes like there are with the D.
Enterprise E: The hot trophy wife
Enterprise D: The childhood sweetheart
Same here.....
The Enterpise D is the most iconic of them all. And none other saved the galaxy as much as her.
I still get goosebumps when it appeared what a moment in the Star Trek Universe...
I watched the enterprise go down back in 94 and as a grown man I was balling in tears myself when she was revealed I thought they would break out the E but the D it just brought my childhood back great scene
You weren't alone, trust me.
USS Syracuse, your sacrifice is appreciated!
Your name will be remembered... and honoired by us trekkies
What Geordi didn't mention was that Syracuse was on a mission at the time when he pinched the engines. Some say she's still stranded out there.
I always assumed she was one of the extras that saw action during the Dominion War.
Your sacrifice was not in vain
Seeing the D again...was the most beautiful thing in modern Trek. I cried a little when i saw her again.

I see the scene at least twice a week pop up in my feed and I cry every damn time I watch it. The music is absolutely perfect.
Thats is why this hits sooo deep, its about us, all of us and what this show stood for!
i think the only people who didn't are those who never watched/grew up with TNG
@Rockwolf50 so do I lol, but I take personal time and weep like a girl everytime
Season 3 of Picard was a love letter to fans of The Next Generation.
The fact that many of us havent seen this ship since we were children is like seeing an old friend and a member of the family fornthe first time in years. It gets me all the time and im 40 married with 3 kids
Pure magic, nearly 30 years of waiting to see where she went, you can't kill an "Enterprise"!😀
I wonder where the E went, if it's not dead. Did the Kelvin Universe get a Sovereign class ship aka Tholian Web style? :o

There are too many remakes and reboots these days but this was absolute perfection. Nostalgia done perfectly.

"too many"... nah, only folks who have seen previous shows say that, the new shows reach new younger audiences regardless of your feelings
I could watch this over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. They gave us back our ship. 😉
They sure did, didn't they. It was great to see her again.
I've lost count how many times I've watched this now lol
Seeing the Enterprise D and the TNG crew gave me a brief feeling of that hopefulness for the future of humanity that I got from watching TNG as a kid. The hopefulness that has been all but dashed in the last twenty years by the degenerating of human behavior and politics. What a wonderful reminder that we can still overcome our flaws as a species! 😊
It's been the last 7 years or so! That has been the most difficult. A little single light of hope. At last!
@@stephenfarthing3819 seriously though. It seemed that when the TNG show was airing weekly, our species was at it's peak. She's just as beautiful as ever Good work Geordi. And i did also cry when i saw her, brought back so many memories. A truly classic Enterprise D bridge. Only times it was different was in Next Gen the pilot and the generations movie of course.
When Picard said "oh yes, she'll fly." It's like he's speaking about a family member. It's so... good
This is how you plant a landing. They did here what they initially did in the first Star Trek movie with showing off Kirks Enterprise getting the refits. Showed that no matter what the Enterprise is a character of her own and she deserves the majesty that comes with it. To me this is where Discovery has floundered. This scene is a proper scene of a mother welcoming her children home and makes a promise that they and there family will be protected. The camera angles the music all of it hits all the right marks and you know full well Enterprise is going to make good the promise of protecting her crew.
Discovery did do it as well. They did it nearly as good as this, it just happened to be for Pike and the Enterprise.
Discovery "floundered" a lot more than that.

I just noticed that Data didn't look over at Worf with everyone else when Geordi brought up the Enterprise-E. Which is a nice lil attention to detail.
Does ANYONE actually know what Worf supposedly did to the Enterprise E????? 🤔

Of all the enterprise that I've seen, this one really looks very elegant and powerful.
The music.
If the Enterprise is showing up for the first time, you fucking use Jerry Goldsmith's theme.
It's the law.
Another nod is to films 2-6, embodied by Admiral Picard's Starfleet combadge.
It's also the music that became the theme for TNG.
Yeah, it was McCarthy piece there 💫
She brings a tear to me eye.

Amazing to see she still had one more fight in her!
this scene, this crew, the music score. the nostalgia on point. perfect season
To be fair, the threat of the Borg demanded a warship. Especially after Wolf 359.
TNG did something for me, too, at that point in my life. Hard to put into words. But seeing that bridge come back to life was pretty powerful.
Just finished watching S3. I donno if this scene was more emotional for the viewers, or the cast. What a beautiful tribute, and what a way to send off the show. As much as I want them to continue, this would be a perfect send off.
Was so nice to see old beloved friends again. Picard season three definitely earned its place. What a breath of fresh air.
I get goosebumps every time I watch this. As they exit the turbo lift. I grew up with the D. When I had no friends, TNG was my friend. What a ride.
Beautiful. Heart soared at this scene and seeing the old girl
The Enterprise D is more than just a starship.
She's a home.
She's a diplomat.
She's a mother. (see Emergence)

And when neccessary, a pure warrior.
She's also a model.

She's the 8th character

It’s been 9 months since this came out and I still go back to watch my beautiful Enterprise be unveiled again. When I saw the museum my first thought was “it’s gonna be the E, isn’t it” then I saw that D and went “HOW THE FUCK!?!?”. Seeing the ship, hearing the computer again…..I openly cried and still get emotional when rewatching

The fact that Picard asks Geordi the permission, even as an admiral himself, because its Geordi's space dock and ship he's been maintaining, is superb direction and attention to detail of the whole star trek ethics, humility of the crew and how respectful they are to each other.
"She's a good ship, and she's got the right name. You treat her like a lady, and she'll aways bring you home." - Admiral Leonard McCoy ("Encounter at Farpoint")

Who wouldn't love that beauty
altho i grew up with 1701, no bloody A, B, C, or D, it still brings a tear to me eyes to see this ol' girl again. 'oh yes, she'll fly'.....
Half a year after I first watched this I'm still balling to this 😂😂😂 the happiness this gave me can't be described with words 😊
