FUN FACT! The original scene featured not a small handful of people, but hundreds of thousands of peoples of all races all waiting in expectation of the president. Then Stacey Abrams enters on a 300 foot tall throne of gold being carried by an army of Q, Dowd, and several other god-level beings in the Star Trek universe. Upon her entrance, all the hundreds of thousands of people, including the gods carrying Stacy's throne, all prostrate themselves face-down onto the ground, screaming "All Hail! Hail god of the universe! Lord of all!" Then Stacey holds out her hands, shining light into the sky, with the shot backing up until we see the Milky Way galaxy, with her glowing visage still visible from hundreds of thousands of light years away! Then the producers inform her that their special effects budget couldn't possible do justice to fully rendering an ego of her size. So they had to settle for this clip here, instead.

Everything about STD is not Star Trek. On a purely technical level...their directing is exactly NOT like Star Trek. Star Trek never did sweeping shots CONSTANTLY. They can't stop moving the camera around in this show. It's because all these directors and DP's think they're so creative and allowing us to really drink in the scene.
It doesn't.
It's overworked and busy looking. You can't settle for a second and put yourself in that world because it's constantly saying: "Look look!...Look look look!! See?? Did you see that Look at this! Let's float over and encircle something! Wasn't that wonderous?

This series so frequently veers off into such ludicrously stupid territory that it might as well be fantasy. Watch a computer read a persons mind and completely replicates a memory they have of a person as a fully functional hologram, which is later given an android body. This show essentially has technology that can make your imaginary friend real and given sentience.

I'm not sure how there is race mongering it's just a black person lmao
This is what Q (In Star Trek ofc wink wink) warned us about.

"Would they have fought"
Our country was invaded by an evil little moustache gremlin with a god complex and his sycophantic possè.
Not only did they invade our country with the intention of exploiting us for economic gain (and they did), they also did so with the intention to strip certain citizens of their rights, deprive them of their property, and then kill them (this, too, they did).
They replaced a democratically elected government with a bunch of treasonous little puppets belonging to a party which failed to gain even a single seat in parliament on their own.
When people, young or old, man or woman, said something or did something that contradicted their manufactures propoganda image of the world thet were either lined up and shot, or sent to concentration camps.
My own great grandfather was arrested for aiding 13 teens trying to flee to britain. The boys were all shot and my great grandfather was treated to a long stay in Sachsenhausen concentration camp were he got to wait out the rest of the war. (There they also amputated his leg when they caught him sharing food with a prisoner who was being intentionally starved)
You're bloody right they fought!
I may be slightly biased, and I admit that, but what exaclty is it about a televison series you think would have made the men and woman of that era lie down and accept oppression and death?
@@henrikkjuus90 It’s not like it was impossible to negotiate with Germany.
And historically speaking the British should‘ve considered to stay neutral or join Germany but no in their pride they had to fight, ruin their economy for decades to come and lose their Empire as a consequence.
Obviously we are heavily speculating at this point but imagine if Communism would have been eradicated right there and then in 1941. Germany alone was close and would probably have pulled it off on their own if it hadn’t been in other conflicts/ all other nations had stayed neutral. Now imagine Great Britain and the US joining this fight. Communism worldwide would have been wiped off of the surface of the Earth, tens of millions of lives saved, and trillions of economic damage avoided.
