I saw the episode with her in labor wanting an epidural. His complete lack of empathy for her pain was disgusting. I don't believe he was as concerned about the effect on the baby as losing control of the situation. Loved it when he was thrown out of the room. Run, girl, run for your life.

You are 100% CORRECT. He literally checks all of the boxes of an abusive partner. The only positive is that TLC has been able to capture him in action. That footage will make for compelling evidence for the judge overseeing her motion for primary custody.

A narcissist creates a wedge between their partner and the partner's family and friends - so they can have their partner all to themselves. Break their self-esteem, and then isolate them from their family/friends. Then you have full control over your partner.

I can't wait for the day that I hope and pray comes when Kylen realizes what he's doing and walks away. I remember being 17 and wanting to please my boyfriend to the extent of walking away from my friends and family. I thought the world of him and now I look back and I can't believe I allowed that. I also know that I was young and naive. His parents should be appalled and want to smack the hell out of him. I feel so bad for her parents.
Same here, but I married him, found myself being abused, physically, emotionally, mentally! For 13 years, until I finally had enough. I didn’t care what he did to me anymore, so I took my kids to my sisters house. When he came home from work, I had all his shit packed, I told him to leave. That prick said “ok” thanks for packing my stuff you saved me from doing it!! Now he’s my ex, going through the divorce was hell!!

Same. I'm a teacher, and I've had a few students who gave off the EXACT SAME vibes as he and they're all in jail now.
Every single one had almost identical attitudes as the ones Jason displayed: apathetic, entitled, manipulative, controlling, possessive of their current partners, and wanting to monopolize all of their time, and angry. I teach middle school (7th grade), and it blew my mind at just how angry some of these boys were, even when their parents doted on them and gave them everything.

Jason’s dad is right about his son, lacking compassion. Both parents seem sensible and they know Jason is trying to pull Kaylyn away from her parents. It is possessive behavior. I’m concerned for this girl and the baby. Jason is pulling her away from her family, and all those that live and care for her. Kaylyn knows it intellectually too. Jason wants to be with his friends and is manipulating everyone. I think he has ADHD, and it might not be diagnosed. I will pray for his mental health, I think he obviously needs therapy. He has a chip on his shoulder and has anger issues. This is narrsasistic behavior and it is very dangerous for the mother of the baby and the baby. He wants to control everything. His behavior needs to be examined by a psychologist and he needs behavior therapy. Your parents will help with the baby, his parents will help with the baby. Just know you are worthy of a better person, who treats you with respect. Break it off with him, for the safety of your life and your babies life. You will be so much better off as a single mother, living safely with your parents. Do not settle for a hot head. I truly think he will abuse you. I watched the scene the other day where she gives birth and he says an epidural is fentanyl in your spine you get addcited and then starts naming these insane street drugs are in it, the doctor said sir you have no idea what you are talking about. This as well as his insane behavior made my mom think he was himself was on drugs.

Sounds like he must still be controlling her and trying to o erode a doctors knowledge on an epidural. Why isn’t someone protecting this girl?? Can the domestic abuse hotlines find her a place away from his mental abuse. She needs to be smart, use common sense, street smarts and get to a safe place. Them living with Jason's parents is one of the best tings that could possibly happen to Kylen. Jason is very scary to me, and the way he already has Kylen behaving should be a sign of emotional abuse, look how he's talking for her. Jason has separated her from her family and probably friends and I have no doubt that if they ever live in their own place he will start physically abusing Kylen.

at a buffet, i personally sneak corndogs into the buffet so others can enjoy them. I hide 6 corndogs in my jacket pockets. it then, is a joy for me to see other patrons of the establishment eat my corndogs thinking they were part of the buffet.

Jason needs to be hooked up to a labor pain machine (they do exist) and experience just one minute of what Kylen went through. Then we'll see how he feels about her needing an epidural.
There are so many red flags for abuse with this young man.
Everyone walks on eggshells around him, giving him all the attention he craves. I feel like his parents need to sit him down and have a serious conversation with him about his attitude, and scary way he treats the mother of his child. If he doesn’t drastically improve, she needs a lawyer for child support, and then needs to walk out that door.

I pray she stop letting him control the time she spend with her parents. I lost my mother to cancer and couldn’t imagine not being there with and for her. I left my younger kids with my adult son and family while I cared for her. No man could’ve interfered with me spending time with my mother.
