My parents didn’t help me when I was 16 and pregnant I got a job working multiple jobs paid for childcare to their aunt or uncles to help watch him for me and saved up money and got my own car made me appreciate things and felt super proud of myself for achieving that I was going to get my own apartment but I met my now husband and have two more kids ❤️

I know, right? I got a bare bones car (no A/C, no radio, etc) to get me to and from school when I was in college. I was grateful to my parents for their generosity...they didn't have to do that.

This grinds my gears. I got pregnant when I was 17 and I was grateful for anything my parents and other family members did to help me through it. My dad bought me a safer and bigger car than I had since I was going to have a baby. He picked it out and i was just happy he got me something reliable. I didn’t have to get a job, I was supported but when I graduated high school (yes I finished my senior year pregnant and waddling around school) I went straight to cosmetology school and have been doing hair ever since. I’m 30 years old. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without the help of my family. She’s very bratty and entitled. and she’s lucky she’s even getting a car. Beggars can’t be choosers. End of rant. 😁

I was a teen mom with ZERO family support. My first car was a POS I bought myself. She’s so lucky honestly, it’s way harder than it looks girl. Especially when you don’t have a free baby sitter, a free car, nothing.
And what the hell does she need a car for? The step mom, dad, and boyfriend have cars. She doesn’t go to work or school, her babysitter is probably the dad, she is probably being financially supported by the family. She needs to hit a low point to give her a reality check, but she’ll probably just blame someone else for that. Smh

And in addition, they are required to go to mass and take religious instruction in Catholicism. Most Christian faiths teach abstinence before marriage. I know that is an archaic thought, but if she were sexually active, going to a Catholic girls school, there is definitely a disconnect. And seeing the affect of this girl’s personality, she should be in therapy.

I’m not sure if it’s a cultural difference but my school was in London and not in America. They taught us about respecting ourselves and our futures. We were taught to be young ladies, that strives to do well in education and eventually land a successful job. Though we did have sexual education like all the other schools most of the girls weren’t too interested in it because we had our eyes set on getting into a good university.

At her age, I worked 2 jobs and bought my own car, paid for my own insurance, clothes etc. Had my first child 5 years after I got married. I feel sorry for the kids that don’t learn to be responsible these days. Their parents aren’t doing them any favors by handing them what they want. It’s more appreciated if you have to work for it.

I think the daughter has a screw loose. I teach high school and I can tell you she’s not normal. She has a very flat affect and maybe special-education. She’s created quite a mess.

When the spoilt girl got told people was talking about her being pregnant at school I felt that so. I was 15 when I got pregnant with my daughter so I left school and the word got out it was a hard time I kept myself to myself 100% after I left school and I haven’t looked back

I was 16 when I got pregnant I had to work really hard. I had to work two jobs my sons whole life to be able to keep a roof over his head on top of school. I had to buy my own car and never expected anyone to help me with anything. She’s a spoiled brat
Forget the car, she’s lucky to have a family supporting her and care for her before and after she fell pregnant. I haven’t even had a birthday since I was 14 which was a couple of weeks after my mother died a couple of months after I was put in care. ( I’m grateful that they included me in there sons birthday they didn’t need to and it was very kind) I was grieving and in a strange place and I was just so so so grateful that I got to spend time with my sister and be able to care for her like I did before we were separated.
