  • This is just my feelings throughout my experience and some opinions on it all.
I hope this inspires more people to consider a vasectomy at the very least if they know they don’t want kids.
Women should be able to decide when they get their tubes tied and not need basically an army to get it approved for her.
Make sure to visit feministdirtbag.com and check out my other socials. (:

I had one at 22 ( single with no kids.) Now at 61 it was sooo worth it. I knew since my mid teens weren't for me. No adult kids to financially bail out and no grandkids to raise. You're NOT selfish, just responsible.

One of the reasons you gave for not wanting kids was that your selfish, yet almost every reason you gave for having the procedure done was very unselfish reasons. We need more men like you in tbr world 🌎 doing better!!!

Welcome to the club! I hear ya on all counts. I was 22 when I got mine after having (thankfully) dodged two scares. First two docs I got referred to were old enough to be my grandfather and they kicked me out of their office as soon as they saw my age. No other questions asked. Third doc was awesome. Probably only about 10 years older than me and got snipped in med school. Tatted and pierced and long-haired like me. Both wearing motorcycle leathers. He just wanted to be sure I knew it was permanent, took a quick check around the junk and that was it. Dropped trou and was done in about 15 minutes. Have never regretted it. Huge relief to know there will never be any surprises.

I’m glad you made this and shared your experience. Sometimes woman have to fight with doctors to have medical procedures that will prevent them from having children but will make their lives a better quality. I fought for three years with the same things told to me over and over again. Like having children is the only point to our existence. Thank you for knowing your own mind and body. I agree that the earth needs a break.

So glad you were able to get your procedure. I was 38 when I found a dr that was willing to do anything beyond medication. I was able to get an ablation and tubal. It took 2 appointments, gyno & surgeon. I was asked “are you sure” multiple times. Then, because of insurance I had wait a month ‘in case I changed my mind.’ Much love to you, ice your balls.

Thank you for making this video. I'm a single 40 yr old woman and last year I made the leap to get an IUD. I wanted to get my tubes tied but the cost was too much at the time. I did it for all of the reasons you mentioned. I wish more people made a conscious decision to procreate or not. Raising a future adult is a big responsibility and it's far too easy to accidentally get pregnant. You are the tits and I love your content.

When I was in my 20's, never in hell would I have wanted children... Never ! My social life was to damn important ! I was the king of the world in the clubs and in parties ! Then in my 30's I got a serious girlfriend that I actually wanted to share my life with and not just for a one night stand. She ended up pregnant and she said she was keeping the baby. I was not prepared at all for this and almost regretted not getting a Vasectomy... But then when we had our daughter it was the best feeling ever ! Now at 43 I have 6 kids and I am done with children... So I am getting a Vasectomy. Do I regret having children not at all. I think that snipping in your 20's is not the thing to do. But if you are still happy that you did more power to you dude !

I have yet to find a doc that will take me seriously even though I don't want children because of my medical issues and how it would severely complicate pregnancy and childbirth. So I'm on a copper IUD and the pill at the same time until someone will take me seriously. I'm so fuckin sorry cause I know how difficult it is to have a doctor do something RIDICULOUSLY PERSONAL while being judgmental and rude in the process. It feels violating and emotionally exhausted.

I've been trying to find a doctor for a hysterectomy for 5 years. I have two kids. 14 and 5. I have an autoimmune disease and a host of other issues that come along with it. When my son was born they wanted to tie my tubes. Because of birth complications I declined it the day after giving birth. I lost a massive amount of blood (RBC was chillin at 8.2 after receiving 3 pints of blood) I was in no position to make decisions when they were trying to force me to. At 6 week checkup they tried again. They absolutely refused a hysterectomy. Because of my medical issues that would be the best thing for me. I'm 36 years old. I do not wish to have more children. And it's been 5 years, and I have yet to find a doctor that is willing to do it. "You're too young, you'll change your mind, you look fine everything is fine, it can't be THAT bad" nonsense.

Have been following you on TikTok...so I came to see your reasons for Vasectomy. Especially now in light of...for Roe V. Wade and all that bullshit...it is a good choice if you are mostly sure of not wanting to procreate. The medical community is horrible with inflicting guilt and opinion on women and you have proved on men as well. My niece who is 36 married with 2 kids (each pregnancy progressively harder for her) asked when her youngest was born to have a tubal while she was still in hospital....they poo-pooed her and came up with the "you are young you might want another" and my personal favorite is what if something happened to one of your kids....like losing a damn goldfish....replace it God's sake...doctors just need to do better.

I got cancer with 21 and was told, that I can't afford the procedure to save my cells before chemo. If I would have been 4 years older and married this would be paid by the Health insurance (I'm from germany). This made the wish to have a child even bigger. But over the years I learned so much about myself and my enviroment. In my current longterm realationship we skipped at one point the protection and just went on but I didn't get pregnant. I went to multible doctors to check on this, but they couldn't explain it. I had recently a conversation with my partner and we both said, that it would be selfish to force to become parents and we both would be fine without kids. And if there comes a point when I have a stable home there are enough children who needs this. I think its an interesting topic and need to talked about more, because the pressure from society to reproduce is a lot.
Also, can you can get checked if he did it correctly or is there any test if it works?

It’s not really reversible. Not in any guaranteed sense.
While in theory it’s a matter of reconnecting the Vas , it’s very hard to do. They also tend to re-occlude after a number of months or years.
Also the epididymis tends to rupture from the back pressure of the vasectomy .
Then they have to connect directly to the testicles. It has even less chance of working, and your testicles will now sit very very high.
The Vas is approximately 4mm diameter but the lumen is absolutely tiny ( like several hair widths ) , so scar tissue blocks it up really easily.
      It’s a 4 hour operation.
Needs a trained micro-surgeon in urology.
Needs a general an aesthetic .
Costs about $10k out of pocket.
Takes 4 weeks to recover from , depending on work etc.
Also worth knowing that you will develop “ Anti-sperm antibodies “ after vasectomy. The antibodies create a constant inflammatory situation to remove the constantly produced sperm.
Even after reversal the “ anti-sperm “ antibodies attack the sperm. They destroy the flagella and you can be infertile even if patency is returned.
Vasectomy is consented as “ Permanent “ for a very good reason
      I had a reversal . Lasted 1 month.
