Best decision I ever made, getting a vasectomy, after two previous relationships ended and both women behaving like psychopaths, I could at least walk away knowing I didn't screw up a little person's life

It is extraordinarily important to do as much homework as possible on the person you are going to be bringing a child into this world with. Many people don't think that far in advance, and it can affect the children for the rest of their lives. Thanks for the comment.

It can happen years later post vasectomy.
There is no decent cure.

Getting a vasectomy was the worst decision of my life. I lost my wife and my man hood. I did it at age 27, a little over 16 years ago and I noticed a big difference in the way ejaculation felt and my overall energy immediately afterwards. I lost all my testosterone and it feels weird and dulled in a uncomfortable way when I ejaculate. I can't explain the feeling. You would have to feel it yourself. The only time I feel normal is when I'm taking testosterone. Which I had to start doing at age 29 because my levels were so low. The wrong feeling I get with ejaculation has never went away and I'm now 43 years old. This happens to other men too.. Look it up before you talk trash! Please, please look it up before getting one!

I think you are absolutely correct that a vasectomy is not for everyone. Also, more importantly I think ~ not all of the doctors who perform the vasectomy are equal. I have also heard a myriad of different horror stories, many coming from those that had a vasectomy performed by doctors who are not well experienced in performing vasectomies. I think all of the good and bad aspects, the pros and and the cons, ALL need to be taken into account when making such a life altering decision. Again, while I personally think it was a great decision for MYSELF, it is absolutely not for everyone. I really appreciate that you have logically shown the counter point for other men to take into account when going through the procedure. Not all medical procedures work as intended.
