I cannot thank you enough! I thought my headset was for sure a goner since last year, but I tried this and it worked flawlessly!
My headset has been sitting in a box with other broken headsets for a couple years now... Thanks to you and my not laziness this year I was able to restore my Gen2.... I got mine on day one and haven't used it only had a week or 2 of usage... since then I went to razor. Now I'm willing to try Turtle Beach once again.

Bro... Thank you so much for this. I received this headset from my best friend's family when he passed away. It's one of the few things of his that I have and they bricked about a month after I got them. Thank you for allowing me to continue gaming with a piece of my buddy. I made Best Buy exchange mine since they are backed my there defective warranty! Also ALL TURTLE BEACHES HAVE A 2 YEAR WARRANTY GUYS!

Thanks for the info - hopefully it helps a lot of people out. I decided to return mine and get a new pair - make it TB's problem not mine. The shop swapped them no problem. I'm gonna keep doing this every time they brick, I didn't sign up to micro manage the software on a 300$NZD headset. Luckily it's only happened once in 6 months - an it is a really great headset otherwise.
Had the turtle beach app on my laptop, updated and connected my bricked 700gen2 and it updated and turned it on, preciate it👊🏽😎
THANK YOU. Bought new on at best buy (cobalt) next day died. This seemed to have fixed it. I guess I shouldn't have ignored the piece of paper that said UPDATE FIRMWARE BEFORE USE! Works again.

Thank you, didn't realize it was just a software bug; I was all ready to disassemble my headset and hardware swap with a broken headband one that I also have.
Fixed mine! At first I only got the pop for the Xbox head phones (mine are ps5) and I downloaded it anyway. Then it kept disconnecting after it downloaded the update. So I reset the software and plugged in the headphone receiver and it updated normally and now it works again! Thank you so much!

@@toyandtechreview Hello, I urgently need your help if you can, though I'm not sure how you can help me. The software worked perfectly, my headset turned back on again. When I try to connect it to my xbox though, it just shuts off after ten seconds or so. I don't mean it turns off, the xbox thinks it is connected but no audio is coming in or out. I don't know if this has something to do with the bluetooth mode constantly playing, I don't know how to turn it off.

My headset will connect and than turn off over and over again😡😡🤬🤬 I cant say Thank you enough thank you soo much bro I would like to add; perform a power cycle reset to the console and pair your headset to the console like its your first time and that cleared up my problem. Your a LIFE SAVER😇😇

Worked perfectly… after I used the Turtle Beach cable. Had to dig around for it, but it’s the only one that actually worked. Any other USB-C cable wouldn’t work.
mine wont even recognise the headset on the app after connecting the cable...considering smashing it to bits rn

if you have playstation version try to use the updated process in the description. It doesn't use the audio hub software for playstation version anymore.

Got mine fixed 7/10/24. I had no cherge light or power on function. The hard reset didn't work for me so I downloaded the app on my laptop. After trying to update, it said there was no updated firmware available. Then I did the restore to default option and it automatically turned on after. Good luck 👍🏻

The recovery link in description worked for me, the firmware update through the audio hub did not. The hub disconnected when the process was “done”. Funny cause I put these headphones away over a year ago until now I just decided to try to fix em before tossing
The issue I have is that mine doesn't let me use the voice chat wheel. It'll just scroll and keep beeping. And the Xbox party chat says "Trouble Hearing the party?" If I scroll enough it'll land on a spot where it'll work. But then the volume for party chat is super low that gameplay is way louder. And there's no way to balance them out

Mine was bricked and would not turn on. I had to download the turtle beach update driver on website and update 3 times! But it works for now.. hope this helps

This worked for me, over a year after your post still no Mac support lol luckily have parallel for this kind of stuff. Do we know why one morning it was just bricked? Lol
