Yea I got this headset in April 2020 and a few months later I got the same issue. Luckily it’s covered under warranty. Sucks because this headset isn’t cheap! You would expect better quality!
This is what happens exactly to mine, i got it to work for a week and then it just randomly stopped working for my xbox and then it wouldnt even pair with my computer and it would just say retry . This headset has so many issues its almost a 20 dollar headset that works for a week than decides to stop pairing. Such a shitty headset honestly

Hi pal, you need to plug an aux cable into the headset then turn it on, it should light up blue then once you have done that plug it into you computer and see if that works
Hey man thank you for this. i had the same issue where the headset would turn on and then blink green light after saying power on and switch off. I plugged in an aux, except plugging in the aux seemed to fix every single issue i had, including bluetooth issues. So i took an old pair of earphones and cut the male aux off and put it in the headphones and they work as if they were never broken (at least bluetooth does, havent checked xbox compatibility yet) I know this sounds stupid but it worked for me. Hope it helps someone else.
I was gonna refund the headset since I had an extra 2 year of the warrant. But the game store where I bought them at; close down due to bankruptcy. But I know how to fix them thanks to this video. :)

Sorry for late reply, I explained the headset only worked with an aux cable in it otherwise it turns off and also Bluetooth still worked when paired with my phone and they just said it sounds like the built in WIFI has failed take it back where you got it for a refund, I had the item over a year so was out of warranty
I have the Turtle Beach 700 for ps4, and I have never gotten these problems, however I agree when you said it’s bad. The bluetooth for me it bugged, so on one program the sound comes from my left speaker, also when he says, “Power on” “Bluetooth on” “Bluetooth paired” “Power off” etc.
Just two weeks into these and after the 14 day return policy expires from Best Buy these headphones stop working they keep shutting off how are they able to get away with this. Anyways I’m taking an L on these and will go back down the RUclips rabbit hole looking for a better pair. And thanks for the video.
You don’t need to plug the aux cord into a controller to make it power on, as long as it’s plugged in to the headset and your headset is charged up it will turn on and light up a different colour as seen in the video

my headset turns off as soon as i remove the power cable even with the jack cable plugged in, and i get a horrible static if i try to use the headset with both cables pluged in, so i have to remove the power cable.

Happened to 3 headsets of mine. First was replaced fr new under warranty. Then that one broke and they sent me refurb model. That broke in less than 2 weeks. Then they said sorry refurb isn't covered for replacement...
8 units of the 700 1st GEN have brick as his. Nothing I did fix it. I tried updating it for years. Sometimes I did get it to update with help of the aux port. It still doesn't stay on. One guy told me it's the battery,,, when getting weak it won't support the ICs.

I just got mine today and already having those issues.. I was only able to hear anything out of it after seeing this video and tried using the aux cable. this is a very sad day for me. And I'm in a country away from the US to have it replaced or refunded.
So latest update on this was the built in Wifi on the headset it’s broken which caused this fault, even though it was out of warranty Turtle beach said I could return it to the place I purchased it from. In my case I returned it to Amazon showed them the email from Turtle beach and the refunded me, since then I have purchased a steal series 9x

The G you will know if you have the sams problem because as soon as you plug an AUX cable in it will let you turn it on and it will allow you to pair with your phone or other Bluetooth devices ... obviously on the Xbox it will need to be aux to aux in order to make use of it

Hey man when I try and connect it to my computer it doesn’t detect a device. It says click here to download drivers and once I do that it still doesn’t connect. I went on the app on my phone and it says they need to update my headset but obviously can’t connect them to my computer
When I turn on my headset it just goes blue even without any cable plugged in then it turns off and when a put it on charge it goes blue then flashes around every 10seconds
I did something dumb and for some reason it worked not sure why. I took an Aux off earbuds and put it in the stealth 700s and it worked?. I later on cut off the Aux cable off the old earbuds and still it worked normally everything went back to how it was without it; Just cut off the Aux at the very end and it will work like it did normally. But if you can at anytime buy better headphones seriously.
Mine did this and I figured out an annoying but it fixes it all you have to do is turn it on and while its booting up spam the other buttons and it works still cant get it to sync wireless to my xbox though

Had the same problem , took apart the headset , turns out the button on the headset used to connect to the Xbox had broken apart inside and stayed pressed. Soon as I took the broke part and put it back together , everything's working now . I used for my pc now because I connect it to my xbox
So I had this issue and was using the aux then put my headset on charge it sat there for 2 days and when I finally grabbed it off charger I said let me try and turn it on without aux and it did! Idk how but it works normal again and I just thought I'd share in hopes it will work for someone else btw my headset was fully dead but won't hurt to let it die and keep it on charge for 2 days just to see if it helps anyone else
Oh after I took it off charge it wasn't powering on so I plug it back on charge for a second to see if the light would come on and it did and after I took it back off it worked like normal hoping this helps someone!

It’s called an AUX cable but if you want to be able to talk with it you then need to search on Amazon for AUX cable with a built in mic
