- Do you want to know how to SETUP the Turtle Beach 700 Gen 2 on the PS4 and PS5 also, the BEST SETTINGS and how to connect to bluetooth devices like your phone and PC. You can have two different audio streams at the same time like PS5 audio and PC audio. I will also show you how to adjust the microphone level. On the PS4 or PS5 version there is a wireless dongle that comes with the device. Plug it into your Playstation. It will connect right away when you turn on your headset. If there is a distortion or weird sound the ps5 menu, make sure your audio headset on the ps5 sound settings is all the way up. You can also get the turtle beach audio hub and adjust your settings more with the phone app or update the firmware.

For me how it sounds better is taking off the 3D audio and leaving it at bass and treble boost sound perfect like that

I have mine and says it's connected on the headset but can't hear any audio. I watched this video to too help but it didn't seem to do anything. I even checked on my pc to see if it was up to date and it was. I have a ps5 and have the usb switch to the usb side. Sometimes it connects but for like 5 seconds then disconnects then searched for the connecting again. I had it also working for a whole with the mic down and it was working fine but when i out the mic up, it disconnected. And it started searching for devices again. The usb and headset both blink blue light... i need help!

for some reason when i use the transmitter i get clicking in the right ear and distortion. on every device whether it's computer ps4 ps5. but if its bluetooth to phobe or pc it doesn't make the noise
I wouldn't put that transmitter on the back of the PS5.
I made bad experience with the Pulse 3D that way. The PS5 gets very warm on the back, so it might even overheat.
Also I had small issues, so the front USB A port is way more recommended.
I'd love for you to show us how the hell we actually install the latest firmware. It either tells you it's up to date or there's an error and reconnect. So annoying.
I had to connect both the USB transmitter to my USB ports and also connect with a USB cable.
@@yoursixadventures yeah the headset and the Bluetooth USB. Done thst but it doesn't work. Says latest is installed then it says there's been an error. Seen online a lot of people saying it can only be done on a mac.
I had to use someone else's computer. Once it was on a "good" computer, it updated first time. Crazy annoying. Still sounds like garbage on the PS5.

do not upgrade at all .... you will have to throw the headphones in the trash like I did. If you update the firmware the volume will drop by 50%

You can adjust it in your ps menu, not on the headset. When in a party you can adjust it per person

Headset sounds distorted on my ps5, sounds fine on my ps4 pro and laptop though. Theres a lot static sound in the background even on the ps5 homescreen. Sounds super bad on cod cold war though, games unplayable with them.

You have to plug the thing in and connect it and then turn it on and wait a second for it say “headset paired”

I updated these things and it did nothing my headphones double blink blue and the lil USB chip is solid blue I rested my settings and master reset the headphones and checked to see if it deleted the update for them

I have the turtle beaches but I can't isolate the chat audio from thr gsme audio which sucks! Not to mention not being able to listen to the audio from both soundbar and headphones at the same time
Same issue. My old old Turtles worked much better with individual volume control.
not sure about this headset but when using a wired headset with a mixamp it actually tells you to select chat audio and that's what allows you to raise and lower chat volume separately from game volume.

I have the same headset for about a month, last nite red lite on the headset and would not turn on, i did a hard reset, now it turns on but no sound from ps4 pro, so i used a pin and reset the transmitter, now red lite on steady on transmitter. Headset conects to bluetooth on fone and turtle beach app on my fone For some reason headset wont connect to transmitter. Any help you can give me? Thank you.

Mine won't pair the headset keeps saying headset paired and the transmitter just carries on flashing blue I've used the recovery tool and that didn't do anything still won't pair I've tried updating and there up to date

The audio still sounds trash and it’s too low and the bass is garbage … my wired Turtle Beach X12’s with Earforce DSS still sounds wayyyyyy better . I had to switch back and I’m probably going to sell these.
