Thanks, My 11yr old son bought himself one. Man managed to strip 2 teeth off the larger gear within 2 weeks. We bought the metal gear kit and had a nice time working on his truck. I think he will be able to replace them on his own in the future. Your video was a great help!
if it seems like it's too small if could be that they are stripped out, as its very common for these black screws. the stainless steel screw kit fixes that

Every one with a Trx4m should just put those metal diff gears in.😎
Probably
Oh man this helped me out big time cause my defender was sounding like that and only two wheel drive and this helped out thanks guys.
No problem 👍
I would bet that those gears are a cast aluminum. Cheap and quick to make.
Better than plastic!
So helpful! Got my metal gears in and I’m ready to go!
Rock on!
Never thought a simple tow test would absolutely strip out the diffs lol (I forced it to pull like 5+ kg with a trailer)
honestly bro
My trx4m rear diff gears have started slipping only after about 30mins run time. I have added some weight so i have mine on the way.
oof, hope it helps!
Bearings !!! lol
we went back 😂
Where can you get the grease or what grease do you recommend bc I live in England
its online, just look up automotive grease in a tube 👍
Thanks I appreciate I’m getting a TRX-4M defender soon
I skipped around some so maybe I missed it. What kind of grease are you using?
regular automotive grease from the tube
Thank you ❤

@@3X7Outdoor i never had taken it off before idk why it’d be stripped
What kinda grease do you recommend..or jst any
We used cold weather automotive grease
That very cheap pot metal! Worst of the worst...Replace with hardened steel!
Forgot to put your bearings on.. 😆
we did it
The first axle definitely didn't show bearings on the carrier/ring gear
Part number?
