I just got into RC and you've helped me make my decision on a first purchase! It's been a month or so at this point and I wasn't able to find many helpful instructional videos, but these are AWESOME. I hope they gain some traction as there's a serious lack of these sorts of videos. Thanks for the entertainment, keep it up
I would like to see you build a high trail . I just bought a high trail and I am in the process of buying some injora shocks and axles and would love to see your input on this and where I should go and where we should take it.
Your videos have been very helpful for me to upgrade my trx4m bronco. I really like to have flex but learnt from your earlier videos that front flex may have serious performance drawbacks if not done properly (with straps etc). So,i just went with rear flex using adaptive3 and absolutely love it! I also have an injora 11kg servo after my stock servo died. 7mm hex extensions from injora and some wheel weights, injora beadlocks and wheels, this has become a super crawler🙂. Next would be a motor upgrade and then I am thinking if I should use metal shafts and links. What do you suggest? I just saw on amazon that injorahas released a new version of brass shafts few days back. Will also wait for your video do decide if i should go for holmes hobbies or injora motor.
So glad the videos have helped! I really like the holmes motor and that is going to stay in the build for the time being. I like these style links: www.injora.com/products/injora-black-brass-high-clearance-chassis-links-set-for-1-18-trx4m-4m-45 Thicker links really limit articulation in the front because they bind with the servo mount. The thinner the link is at the mounting position the better, and this style looks pretty good.
So I just put the Injora chassis on my Bronco today. Does your front/rear bumper mount & bumpers get all out of whack? Did you have to fix it, any at all? 🤨🤔🧐
Man, I have a dilemma. I don't know which car to choose. I'm looking for fun on a scale between 1:16 and 118 that will help me jump, have long-lasting fun, easy to maintain, parts may be available. the following options: latrax teton, axial jeti can am, losi mini t, I understand which 4x2 traction vehicles are simpler with fewer moving parts which one would you recommend, on the other hand, in 1/10 scale there are two very similar options in price Traxxas rustler 4x2, and arrma vortek Boost 4x2, which one would you recommend?
If i put crawler gears in my trx4m with a injora 48t pro.. should i also do the underdrive/stock or underdrive/overdrive ring and pinions or will it not matter at that point?
He's showed a bit of comparison of crawler gears, stock, and injora pro setups in "Traxxas TRX4M Upgrades!! Crawler Gear and Speed Gear Install & Review - BIG Performance Gains!"
Excellent tutorial Adam! Clear, concise and very easy to follow along. Good camera angles and great tips for novice wrenchers! Well done!
Glad it was helpful!

That was, is a very clear and precise video of how to do the engine swap easy to follow . Thanks Adam.
Glad it helped!

I just got a custom body defender, loved this video, I was a lil confused coming from working on scx24
Thanks for taking the time to show us these repairs ..
Can you do one on changing the chassis?
Yes I can!
Nice little rig
Awesome! Thanks for the video! It will definitely be helpful as I recently just purchased a trx4m and some upgraded parts.
Glad it helped!
Just a tip, the smaller head bolts are 1/16” hex and not 1.5mm. 1/16” fits like a glove, but 1.5mm is very loose and strips them.
Good to know! I wondered why even my best drivers would strip them. Makes sense now

Did you keep the 59mm shocks
Yes
What do you think the best servo option under 40$ is?
Under $40? Probably the OGRC just based on specs.

Mine was the opposite: they were out of whack to start and the chassis fixed it! But I do notice the bumper mounts are a bit wonky on this chassis
@@CapeCrawlers I just wonder if there's a fix for it?

I’ve gotten 2 different sets of Injora driveshafts and both sets the front driveshaft is unable to be put together in-phase.
Looking forward to a motor comparison

Motor video will be up tomorrow 👍🏻
I just grabbed a syringe that comes with the kids medicine and loaded that up lol
mine servo broke :(
Same
Same😢
Same
You can order metal replacement gears! much cheaper than a full new servo. Traxxas P/N 2064
@@craig933 it’s 20 bucks for that. It’s only 10 bucks more to get a brand new one
