But overall, I assumed all Stanford students were CEOS/founders of nonprofits or companies, had 500+ hours of community service, plus were national champions in a sport. I mean y'all were still amazing and at this point imma get rejected from community college :D

@@AlleEsor28 There are definitely people at Stanford who have some incredible achievements such as the ones you are describing! However, something really cool is that admissions officers are considering the fact that a lot of the super amazing things Stanford applicants have done are related to the privileges that they have. What really impresses them is doing the most that you can with the opportunities that you have! We all did the standard activities such as National Honor Society & Student Government but these were the things we think set us apart from the 40-50,000 other applicants! :)

Great video! One question: Did you list all your tennis-related things in one spot on your ECs? Just wondering how much you were able to describe in such a short given space!
Hi! Thank you :) If I recall correctly I used two of my list slots to talk about my tennis related activities. I listed high school tennis/my role as team captain as one activity and included how long I had been playing in general in the short description area and then in another slot I listed adaptive tennis!

Top colleges want to see passion and drive. Don’t be afraid to stand out or talk about opinions that may even be controversial! They wan’t to see that :)

thanks a lot as an indian high schooler we din't get to to know these things at school neither we have good extracurriculars also we don't have counsellor at school so we face a lot of confusion though i'm confident enough about my academics but i dont have any extracurriculars so it would be very helpful if you suggest me some extra curriculars online .............
Also the major i want to pursue is computer science along with physics ............ I'LL be really thankful if you suggest me something.

great video! I was wondering how the one girl who taught tennis to people with disabilities went about doing that. How did you organize that and find people with disabilities?
Hi! The tennis club that I trained at had been holding an adaptive tennis group for a couple of months so I didn't go through the process of creating a group. I reached out to my club manager and asked if I could assist or help in any way and they were super welcoming to the idea. I would recommend reaching out to the clubs in your area and asking them if they are interested in helping you start this or have a group already that you can help with! Thanks for watching :)

Hi, I’m a junior in high school and am contemplating between business and comp sci. My extra curriculars are mostly geared towards business, so if I applied, would I still have a chance of getting in? And my high school doesn’t offer ap or ib, would that put me at a disadvantage?

But what can you do? Can you be a doctor, lawyer, mathematician? Are you any good at science math or computers? Can you help solve cancer, global warming, the current and next pandemic, the polarized political state in the world? It doesn't sound like it. Too much self promotion and not enough preparation for the real world.
