The USA Men’s National Team defeated the German Men’s National Team, 92-88 in their final exhibition game before the 2024 Paris Olympics.
LeBron James led Team USA as he scored 11 of his 20 total points in the 4th quarter while shooting 8-11 overall and added 6 rebounds and 4 assists as well. Joel Embiid (15 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists) and Stephen Curry (13 points) added 28 points for the USA team in the victory. Franz Wagner totaled 18 points ,7 rebounds, and 4 assists for Germany while Dennis Schroder (13 points, 10 assists) and Moritz Wagner (12 points, 7 rebounds) added 25 points.
The next game for the USA Men’s National Team’s takes place on Sunday, July 28th as they will play Serbia in the Group Phase. The schedule for the next three games can be seen below:

I'm from Europe(Switzerland) and always loved to hate on LeBron as much as the next guy, but this was an incredible performance. I've always been a fan of Team USA and started watching the NBA and playing basketball after seeing the Dream Team in '92 (also my country is ranked at 63 and never qualifies anyways). Anybody who watches basketball over here only watches the NBA, so I'am as surprised as most people at the quality of these other national teams. The way international competition has caught up, this is going to be an exciting tournament.

This was a great night for everyone that contributed this evening. You definitely have to give credit to the whole team for being able to complete a practice together the night before and being able to execute today for the victory. This team at the end of the day they are playing to win the Olympic in France. İ definitely believe that they can definitely do it being lead this game by LeBron and Curry and the starting five this is definitely a good directory to go. But they have to continue to improve and show why they deserve another gold medal this year. they ar currently playing exhibition games right now. I think Germany is certainly one of the favorites. Their talent level is high and their organisation and tactical play is just excellent. Their whole team is based around solid shooting and sound defensive fundamentals, with a ton of good two-way players that can also make great decisions on the floor.
The USA team might have the most talented squad, but they are still relying a little more on individual brilliance than the teamplay that other countries are using.
