Hey friend Awesome character I really liked it... I can see that you are starting to get into Topology for animation and I was there and trust me it is hard... here is a tio... That's so much topology for your first pass... make your faces bigger and try to ignore the really small details you are tring to catch this would make it easier to have cleaner edgeflow which will mkae easier to add more edges if you end up needing more... Also start by making circular topology that goes around the mouth and eyes first before you connect them because I can see that you are getting a little bit messy and you will get lost...
They are doing retopology, there's so much information that the computer has to process while animating so this basically lessens the strain on your computer while animating.
@@jjDub331 you are correct it is also for animation which causes the mesh to deform and this makes it easier for that to happen and of course rigging the character which is like adding bones or strings to a marionette
So if I understand the topology is the fact of using the F and E key more than 1000 times and then adding smooth to be able to more easily add colors and take up less storage space?
Yes, less storage but more inportant is for les poly count to the computer tu calculate and then make things more smooth like in animating or importong to a game
Alternative you can also model the character without sculpting (if you are looking for a more stylised type of character). Grant Abbitt made some cool funko pop and other stylised characters that doesn't involve modelling
I still use 3.1 and I thought I was really really boomer, I don't want to upgrade add on or have surprises like things that magically doesn't work anymore
@@mokunachoi Thanks for the pick-up! I won't lol I'm doing hours and hours of research and trial and error so I can find my workflow!! Thank you again!

The amount of vertices at the begging i can’t😭😭
yea high poly for sculpting whats so bizzare
have you never sculpted before
i think bro has never sculpted before . . .
No idea what happened here, but its amazing

also your gpu dont explode when you import it to a an game engine

I wanna learn how to do advanced modeling like this I wanna make my own VTuber modle
Start off with sculpting and just mess around. Learn some basic male/female anatomy and you are good to go

the day you drop a full tutorial on making a model is the day i drop everything i'm doing to watch it
I use a software called "topogun" for retopology
te recomiendo que le añadas almenos 3 loops de geometría en los ojos para que haga bien el parpadeo
Autoretopogy no? Auoremasher?
Thats for beginners, pros use manual Retopology
@@checkmate8015 me too, but I’m use F2 add on , retopo no faster with him
@@Shahuang ok
i think manual retopology is to time killer, i know auto remesh dont make the mesh perfect but is an time saver
teach me how to retopology bc idk how to
Theres a guy called bran sculpts he does a pretty good job explaining
how do u do this in 2.79 i literally can’t find anything 😭😭
how does bro even have access to that version
I still use 3.1 and I thought I was really really boomer, I don't want to upgrade add on or have surprises like things that magically doesn't work anymore
I think im just gonna quit blender 😅
Don't do that! It can be tricky at first, but once you get the hang of it it's super fun! Don't give up! you can do this
