On other side tis song is not in english and a different style from the past 3 years anthems that sounds different to those who are used to previous songs. Mark tuan is a member and lead rapper of global kpop group got7. I think kpop fans were expecting some other kpop girl groups to be the part of this song and knets wanted korean idols to be the part of this song. That's why most of them hate this song. On other side tis song is not in english and a different style from the past 3 years anthems that sounds different to those who are used to previous songs. Non kpop fans obviously will not like when kpop is included to everything (including myself) but that's the decision of the producers. Language is not a problem for the artists bcs they are multilingual anyway. If you kept all the facts aside like language , nationalism ad other facts, this song is actually a banger

Yeah you're not alone man, and I can tell you what this is missing to, it doesn't have that "moment", like when 2022 had chamber roll up and drop the bass, or when 2023 had the guy come on the stage and have everything slow down and build up into a hype drop, instead this one just repeats the same uninspired and frankly bad lyrics on repeat

In Champions Berlin, did they sing Die for you in German? In Champions Istanbul, did Turkish singer sang Fire Again? I'm Korean and I love that this Big Event is hold in Korea, but I can't love this song. Unlike Die for you, Ticking Away, and even Fire Again, there isn't any drop part like "boom", and an unique drum beat of VALORANT Champions theme song was not used this time. Last year, when NewJeans sang GODS (League of Legends World Championship theme song), perhaps Riot perceived that they should make strong song in global event, but any feedback doesn't seem not to be accepted. Since last year, it looks like we are locked in frame "KOREA=K-POP". Maybe we more loved theme song if English (or American) singer sang Powerful Song.
