Similar vibes, not a similar situation at all. Since Guy gave his life to try to win, but even then guy knew it was an uphill battle that he very well wont win.
Gojo meanwhile was winning for lile 95% of the battle, and Heian era sukuna without Mahoraga would have 100% lost

@Tyrantofthewind dude, what are you on? It's not like they didn't even do domain battles. They didn't multiple times, and it was a toss-up, but with a favor towards Sukuna. Also, if Sukuna didn't have Megumi's soul he would have been cooked in Infinite Void. Something that Sukuna does not have.
Similarly, without Mahoraga, Sukuna just has no way to bypass Gojo's limitless. No World Cutting slash, no bypassing infinity.
Like I'm not saying Sukuna is bad for relying on Mahoraga, unlike a lot of JJK fans. No, Sukuna was interested in Megumi for the entire manga. He was also working on ways to defeat Gojo, after seeing him fight. It was planned from the beginning. But if Sukuna had a way to bypass infinity, without Megumi's soul and the 10S, he would have done it during the fight. It would have saved CE, RCT, and his brain, and he could also still have 10S.
Have you guys read nothing about Sukuna's character? He is the type to choose the easiest and best way to win, and if the fight between Gojo and Sukuna was his easiest and best way to win, then anything else would have led to his loss. Just think about it. Think!

Without 10s Sukuna straight up has no way of getting past infinity not mentioning that Mahoraga alone is like 10 fingers meaning Gojo fought like a 24 finger Sukuna at least. The fact that Sukuna specifically wanted Megumi's body alone is enough to prove that even at full power Sukuna needed Mahoraga to win and even with all those conditions met he almost died like 5 times and shoul've died at least 2 but plot dictated otherwise

Its the fact. Gojo lose because Gege came up with all those asspull binding vows. When Unlimited Void hit Sukuna the binding vow summoned Mahoraga, same with when he knocked Sukuna out and lastly the world slashing dismantle was casted so fast with 1 arm because Sukuna used a binding vow.
Heian era sukuna is stronger than gojo
No, that isn’t logically sound due to the fact sukuna literally killed Gojo cementing himself as the strongest until further notice. Gojo is a close second or third depending on how strong Yuji and the rest of the cast gets.

The reason he lost is because he is a side character against the main villain and Ofcourse the main villain gonna get plot.
