Very interesting seeing the progress throughout the video. But is there a particular reason for using a separate object for the iris and pupil instead of using a spherical eyeball with sclera+iris+pupil? It seems that the back of the eyesocket on the head mesh is just painted and used as the sclera. Is it to avoid clipping issues between the head mesh and the eye? Or is to control the eye movement by translating the iris instead of rotating the eyeball? Won't it be an issue depending on the light on the model?

Why did you dye the white wool dark instead of starting with dark wool?

the glorious pain of weight painting, i suggest locking the vertex groups of the bone chains youre not working on to avoid those issues when blending weights. it also helps to manually unassigned unwanted vertices from groups in edit mode since the blend tool looks at what group the individual vertex is assigned to. great job btw i always love to see your work!!

Do you know how to get a snake tail like this set up correctly with vrc physics bones so it stops moving when the player does but also obeys gravity and doesn't float mid-air? It seems like a lot of people have an issue setting it up right and I wanted to know if you had any luck with that. Also this model is really impressive you clearly put a lot of effort into your stuff.
