@@LELO44567 hi! The client gives me the 2D reference and I make the model with Blender! And then to refine textures, I sometimes use Krita, Then for it to work with Vtuber programs like Veeseeface, Vnyan, waurdo, VRChat, I use unity! (Each Vtuber program has their specific unity vers so please check it out) and I also use Poiyomi shader in unity Then to track ARKit I use iPhone with iFacialMocap and body tracking with webcam using XRAnimator (VRChat I use Quest 2) And yes! It’s a job, I’m freelancing and it can be very busy or very calm time to time, so I would recommend when starting out to work something else while practicing and sharing your work on social media! Show tons of wips, look how other present their work, talk to others, join discords, etc! Then also receive clients as well! Before you receive 3D commissions, I recommend that you know the basic pipeline of modeling, retopology, texture, rigging, making shapekeys for ARKit, exporting with unity, don’t give up, make sure to try your best and just get the model complete to finish (this way you can understand the pipeline, get practice, and understand troubleshooting along the way) it’s also fulfilling to see the model finished with tracking! If you’re wondering when you are ready, it’s usually when clients start to message and comment wondering if your comms are open (a very good direction to know), to advertise yourself I recommend posting wips and showcase finished projects with tracking to show that the models you make work, but it also doesnt hurt to advertise that your comms is open as well in general once you have some finished projects in your portfolio I also recommend having a website or something like ArtStation to see all the finished work so future clients can see then all easily (check out my website if you’re wondering! www.mokunachoi.com) you don’t have to pay for a website while you’re starting, but an ArtStation is pretty good to showcase portfolio You got this, I’m not sure what step of the process you’re in but if you’re starting out try completing a character with a simple design so you understand the basic concepts, O pretty much learned everything through RUclips and joined discord groups to get feedback, you can do this!

When testing out the ARKIT in Blender, I use Facemotion3D with iphone (you need to go on their website to download the Blender Addon, then download the facemotion3D on the iphone) www.facemotion3d.net/english/download/ Then connect the blender addon to phone with IP But to actually use the model for the final stage where you actually use it for streaming, I exported with Unity, and use iphone tracking with ifacialmocap app with Vtuber programs like VeeSeeFace/Vnyan If you also want hand/full body tracking, XR Animator is great as well and you only need to use Webcam for that!

It does help to break it up into small sections, making a list, and work on it one at a time, so for example, when focusing on Body, making a break down list like Torso, Thigh, Shin, Feet, Bicep, Forearm, Palm, Fingers But if it still feels like it's too much, just split it up like working on the top half of body one day, and the other half on another day, etc It helps you feel less overwhelm and it helps a lot for more complicated projects! And it's pretty satisfying to cross each of them out after you're done, You got this!

​@@mokunachoiprobably a good idea not to focus on the whole and break it up. I saw all the ruffles, chains, bits and bobs and was like "She's cute but I would HAVE to say no" But it's probably not so bad if you don't tackle everything at once
