Thanks for the tutorial! I installed in a 2009 Civic LX sedan. It fits nice but is little challenging because I had to drill 1/2 inch holes in the inner trunk frame to tight the spoiler's screw. Otherwise, will not fit properly. A spoiler for $120 and painted is a deal you can't deny!
Didn’t show how the third brake light on the spoiler looked when u press on the brake pedal, also does the original third brake light still work together ? Good video & looks good, Thanks
Sorry I didn't realize my 3rd brake light bulb was burned out so the video didn't show the 3rd brake light coming on but I replaced it shortly after the video and it works with the brake light on the spoiler. Sorry the video was done in bad lighting and not at a good angle to see the spoiler LED lights but all the brake lights work and looks really nice. Thanks for watching.
Hey just got the same spoiler as you for my car, how did you reach the screws on the side for the spoiler? Did you drill out space to reach it or did you squeeze your hand in there?
Good question. It was really tight and a bad design on that part. I have really long skinny fingers so it took forever but yes that would be a good idea to maybe just drill a hole to access the screw area. Good luck it is really tight wish I could help you more.
Can I just solder it instead? But the wire for my spoiler is way too short so I’ll be soldering it with a automotive primary wire 12.2m conductor. I’m specifying it because I want someone to let me know this okay and correct to do
Dont follow the positioning of the spoiler in this video, its wayyyy too far back on the trunk lid. The top of the wing should line up with the trunk edge, not the bottom of the wing.
Yes sorry I tied into the wiring for the 3rd brake light. But I realized my 3rd brake light was burned out during the process so the video did not show the 3rd brake light on but I installed a new bulb and all 4 lights come on now
Let There Be Light Channel got it so the answer is yes then perfect I’ve always wondered why people just completely cut out their top brake light when installing a spoiler
No problem. Yes I just spliced right into the 3rd brake light because it looked like the simplest way to tie into the brake lights very accessible wiring there.
Let There Be Light Channel perfect can’t wait to install mine hopefully next summer/spring. Winter is approaching lol. Did you paint your spoiler and or did it arrive painted already?
Mine came already painted to match the factory color of the car. There are a lot online to choose from and I'm sure they are changing everyday but I think for $149 it was a pretty good product and looks really sweet on the car. Glad I could help
Linked spoiler kit is out of stock! Available from other sources, but only in certain colors. Hard to find colors are available from one online retailer, but cost is $250 with shipping. Yikes!

I had to drill holes on the inner trunk also.. how did you cover the holes? Any water going In there ?
Finally, I've Waiting For So Long, I Have Same Si Spoiler For My 08'Civic LX Sedan, And I Haven't Find The Video For Installation For So Long.
It really does change the whole appearance of the car dude
Looks sweet. Been thinking about doing the same thing to mine
Very informative, look forward to seeing more!
John Hill Thank you
Nice spoiler! Great deal also! When will the next video be out?
Can there be a series in this civic
Awesome video and very detailed, praise God!
Awesome glad it helped someone out
What is that tape you used to knowing where to drill the holes? I have been looking for them but can’t find it.

Did you install the spring to open and close the trunk to adjust the weight of the spoiler?

I Have A Question? How Inch Are The Screw Are, To Bolt The Spoiler?
Muy buen video!
Dude how did you get the bolts in

Is there a possibility to have all four lights on when braking?

Mgkano po yung spoiler ng Honda civic 2006 model
Is it possible to make the spoiler light strobe?
I don't think so but not 100% sure. Maybe some sort of aftermarket relay? Not sure
It’s possible . I’ve done it on mine
Thanks for the info. I didn't know if it was possible or not
