    Another great review, Boss. Got a couple of questions. It looks like you're using the Harbor Freight water filter. How do you know when to change it out? At the start, you said it has a 1.3 and a 1.7 for primer. I have the R500/UPK and it also has a 1.5. When would I use the 1.5? One more thing. Throw us a bone once in a while. When you take too long between vids, we worry about you.

    • @UndergroundPaintKing
      @UndergroundPaintKing  Год назад +1

      It really depends on how often you’re spraying, if you’re spraying a lot they tend to stop working and start allowing water in to get through but they can last a while if not being used on a regular basis. Different materials have recommended tips to be used to spray them so different primers and sealers can be sprayed with a 1.5 or maybe thicker clears and flakes, it really depends on what you’re doing. I do short videos in between the long videos so I’m always posting it just might not be a long video, no worries but I do appreciate the concern Joe🙏🏽💯

    Paint king I don't have much space or storage, and just a small carport to paint in so I need to go as small as possible. I have watched your videos and even the 20 gallon compressor takes up to much space for me. So I've seen some people on youtube using electric or electric turbine spray guns with good results. Wagner has the Motocoat electric sprayer that is stated can be used for automotive paint jobs. Vevor also has an electric sprayer all metal. It concerns me that most of these electric sprayers are plastic (like the Wagner) but the Vevor electric is metal. In any respect if any sprayer can work on a very small compressor say under 10 gallon that may also work for my purposes. It would be great if you could test some of these electric sprayers out so that those of us with very little space can do some painting. Thank you, respect....

    That gun is a hoser! Alot of those clones have the air cap holes drilled out patterned like the Sata/Devilbiss with the 3 holes on each side of the fluid hole in a triangle shape but the they are smaller than the more expensive guns. Seems like they throw out less material because of it. The Vevor has the 2 air holes in a straight line on each side of the fluid hole. The Harbor Freight Black Widow 1.7 HVLP has this same pattern. They used to have the 1.3 version in HVLP but now only have it in HTE with the same Sata/Devilbiss air hole pattern. The older version was probably a hoser too.

I know you already have the R500 LVLP paint gun but you should order this one from this Vevor company and do a comparison because looks like alot of different companies are buying these R500 paint guns and rebranding them by putting a different company name on the gun sorta makes me wonder if any fakes are out there on the market cause they do sell fast!

    Wonder if you got the wrong paperwork on this gun since they sell the R500 too....
    Amazon listing says 13 cfm, which sounds more likely to be true with a sata style hvlp gun, but still interested in seeing you put that 20 gallon to the test!

    You should reduce your paint flow a bit more and leave the clear coat to flash off for half-hour at least. I seems you travel to slow or have got too much paint flow , also don't be to closely when painting. Try about 8" i recommend. No more than 15 to maximum 20% reducer when using 2 pack clear
