That little thing kicks ass. Quiet as a mouse too. Nice video champ 🏆 single stage looking icy 🥶
Appreciate you as always Triggerman 💯 this little thing comes in handy 💪🏾
I just bought that same compressor and I wanted to spray paint some stuff at work and I couldn’t find any videos showing the capabilities of this unit and then I just stumble on your video and I’m impressed man. Not only did you show me the capabilities of that compressor but you did an amazing job. Thank you for this, much appreciation.
You’re welcome and I appreciate you stumbling across this video 🙏🏽💯 I hope it was helpful!
Very cool video UPK - I was thinking of trying that little guy. Very informative - thanks ✌

👏👏👏 You the man UPK. That little comp would be Great for painting wheels for sure. Thanx! for the vids ✌😎👍
Thanks Los I appreciate you 💯 and you’re right, it’s perfect for spraying wheels 💪🏾

Nice work as always👍Glad to see a new video up🥳🥳🥳🥳
Have great weekend UPK
Thanks Bear, I appreciate you 💯 Have a great weekend also 💪🏾
My idea of what's a "Toy" & what isn't has changed a lot in the last year. The welder I use all day every day looks like a toy compared to what I used use - but it ain't. Chances are this compressor is the same deal - looks like a toy but ain't.
Everything is becoming compact now and you don’t have to have the big bulky units that we are use to James!
Another great video from …the MAN…keep up the great work
Thanks Hank, I appreciate that and appreciate you checking out the video 🙏🏽💯
Another great video
Thanks Tony, I appreciate you and it’s always good hearing from you 💯
Nice little unit, paint is going on nice !
Thanks PStreetGarage, it definitely works well for a small unit 💯
Faf, I had bought that vevor from Amazon but didn’t keep it returned it. Just picked up the C.P. compressor for the job that I’ll tackle soon. Thanks again for the demo 💯 can’t wait to see more videos.🎉
You’re welcome and I hope your project turns out great for you 💯

I used my Vevor spray gun last week for the first time, it’s definitely worth the money. And TheTriggerman was right, it hoses the material on! Mannn that thing uses a lot of material but I’m still a fan. Keep up the good work UPK
Thanks Percey, I appreciate you and it’s good to hear you got some great results from the spray gun 💯💪🏾

I appreciate an honest review, the fact there's no sealer and it's straight to paint... that's awesome stuff.

💯 Phordguy, if done right it’ll definitely make you money 💪🏾
Hi UPK, Enjoyed the video as usual! I have an old Central Pneumatic 21 gallon compressor the exact one next to the the Vevor in your shop. The motor on the CP was tired, obnoxiously LOUD really deafening and I replaced the reed valves twice. So, I replaced the original motor with one similar in style that is used on the Vevor but the 2 HP version. The rebuilt compressor is very quiet(amazing), fills the 21 gallon tank quickly and easily handles the 3-4 CFM R500. In my case, it was a cost effective way to recycle an old compressor with those new quiet compressor motors/head units.
That was a great way to go about it Danno💯💪🏾
Do you have a link to where you bought it
Wow that little air compressor is very quiet to be oil less compressor and the r500 gun lay down the paint really nice
You’re right Gregory it is quiet and the r500 does a nice job! I appreciate you checking out the video 💯
@@UndergroundPaintKing your welcome love the videos I’m still waiting on the Sagola 4600 video. Take care
@@gregoryjowers3629 I’ll be posting the 4600 soon!
UPK, great job and demonstration, thank you for some awesome videos! Single stage looks great. You make it look easy. I don't know what the compressor costs but it seems to me it would be worth buying two and coupling them which should produce enough cfm for big jobs, also I lower the shut off pressure (some compressors can be adjusted) so it shuts off sooner since painting is low psi it's ok.
Thanks Rob, I appreciate you and it’s under $200 so getting 2 wouldn’t be a bad idea!
Nice demo bruh 👌🏿
Thanks Bro I appreciate you 💯💪🏾

I am learning so much from this channel and the Underground Builds channel. Thank you for explaining/Showing what you are doing in detail. The product reviews are on point as well. I have a question about what you cover the wheels and tires with when youre painting the vehicles. Are those just towels? looks like they work pretty slick. Thanks again for the knowledge nuggets.
I’m glad the channels are helping out 💯 and not many people ask about what I cover my wheels with but they are Fleece Fabric that I got from a local fabric store and have been using them for a very long time 💪🏾 I appreciate you checking out all the videos!
Hey Boss. When that guy gets that bumper on his car, he's gonna want you to do the rest of the car. I have the Red & Black UPK/R500 and I'm happy with it. The only problems are Operator Errors😀 Stay safe.
Thanks Joe, I appreciate you as always and you’re right I have been asked to do some other work already 😂

I've been watching your videos a while. I painted my 78 camaro using a610 paint gun and a husky 20gal compressor. Job turned out good had some nibs had to color sand but happy with the paint job. If you want to see the pictures, get ahold of me. thanks for your videos.
Hey Timmy, you can send me pics at ugpk810@gmail.com
I enjoy watching your videos. Can you do 1 on how to put together your own paint booth in your garage so that you don't get paint everywhere and I also don't want to get paint on the neighbors cars outside of my house. Or their houses.😊
I’ll try to work on that but I may have a solution for that soon
Nice job on the bumper upk. That little compressor is impressive for the size and it is quite. Where did you pick it from. Great video as always.
Thanks James, I appreciate you and the compressor was sent from the company Vevor
Thank you for the video. Always enjoy your content. What did you use for filtration? Any water issue? I noticed you had the filter at the gun but did you have anything else to filter the air? Thank you again for your reviews!
I only used the filter on the spray gun and that’s it B Blu💯 I appreciate you checking out the video!
Hi, the little Vevor seems less noisy than the other one that you used on few occasions. This is actually my problem; I have been watching your videos (and some other channels), trying to find a way to "update" my car (Honda Civic 8th Gen - I like the little guy, and think it deserves a better view - those cars have a "factory" paint problem with the Clear). I am thinking of getting a 2nd hand compressor and using it to paint the car. I thought in do it with cans, but there is a problem with compatibility between types, brands, not counting that the price of all cans of Primers, Basecoat, and Clear coat, is far bigger then the one of the 2nd hand compressor e material. My ideal is sand it, fix some damages, apply Epoxi, surfacer, Basecoat, and Clearcoat - crazy right, but I will do it - Thanks for the videos
Sounds like you have a plan! I appreciate you checking out the videos and I hope they are helpful to you 💯
UPK ! Awesome review and tutorial on the bumper and hood ! You use the 1.3 or 1.4 tip ?
Thanks Blue Ram, I appreciate you and I used the 1.3 tip on this job!
Wow...Amazing.. that's lesson two for me..😅
Glad the video is helpful David!
Great vid got same setup, I'm doing whole car but it is apart, fenders, hood, doors, trunk lid, spoiler. Contemplating what's better, base and clear or single stage, painting 05 2 door civic. Aka my baby lol... not oem colors which way should I go. First timer here I'm excited lol
I appreciate you checking out the video and I personally like base/clear over single stage, I hope the channel continues to be helpful to you 💯
@UndergroundPaintKing thanks for replying one more question please! With this setup what is a cheap but good clear, I'm painting black mix with blue mica powder then I plan on possibly tinting the clear. Thoughts on what clear to use. You did it again brother. That is a good compressor for them small jobs. Im going to get me one of them r500 guns. Let me ask you something, im thinking about getting a husky 27 gallon compressor. Do you think that would do a whole vehicle with the r500?
The R500 is a 3.5-3.9 cfm spray gun so if the 27 gallon compressor can deliver that it should work well for you!
Love the video bro I'm subscribed to your other channel but everything I look it up it won't take me to it
Thanks Teron, I appreciate you subscribing to the channels 💯 my other channel might not be popular enough for RUclips 😂
Welcome back. You've been AWOL for too long!

Great video. With base coat clear spraying a black pearl. What would be the minimum grit sandpaper you would use in prep before painting. 400? 600? Or 800?
Thanks Kasean, I appreciate you and I would go between 400-600 grit

would the vevor 100 litre 3 motor
silent air compressor paint a whole car? thanks sir, like watching your videos
If you have the right spray gun with it you should be able to paint a whole vehicle
wanna see you do a full car with a 12 to 15 gallon compressor.

Underground King, my man i love your videos! I had a question about PPE.. I see alot of guys using 3M masks with the black cartridges, ive been reading alot about isocyanates in 2k clears... How can i keep myself protected while spraying? I dont spray out of a garage im in a carport sized space. Could you make a video about ventilation and proper PPE? Alot of us out here on the come up could probably use a professional opinion.
Thanks 👑🙏
I’ll work on a video for you Ino, I think that’s good information to know
@@UndergroundPaintKing appreciate you king 👑!!
@@Accepting_AE86_Donations you’re welcome!
Hey paint king, how many quarts did you use to finish those 3 coats? I'm doing the same to my bumper soon.
One quart should be enough to do a bumper
When you paint the panels or whole car is it better to spray a light tack coat then two heavy medium coats like you do always learn from your videos your real not a bunch of bull keep the videos coming Paint king brother...
I don’t always start off with a tack coat but it is good to start with a tack coat and won’t hurt anything if you do a tack coat first, hope that helps 💯
What pressure is required for lvlp gun for primer and for 2k or 1 stage paint please.
That really depends on the material you’re spraying and they’re not all the same so they all could range between 20-30 psi
The compressor did good better than big one when ur spraying do u have to stop or it keeps up
If you’re doing a small job the compressor should keep up if set up correctly
Im confused...some sites said this exact gun consumes 3.5 to 3.9 cfm...an others said 7-13cfm...which is the correct one??...i currently own a 175 litre,30 gallon compressor with 2hp so im considering a lvlp gun like this
The 3.5-3.9 should be the accurate cfm for this spray gun, there could be another model that you may be looking at Sly
👀🤛🏾 i dont have an low volume gun in my collection not sure i need one either but i have been wanting one. Question- painting outside would you use that set up or hvlp....im about to tackle a full spray in my yard and no garage. My matco scorpion with 1.4 tip and a 27gal compressor.
A big setup or small setup will work for you but if you’re using a hvlp spray gun that requires more cfm than your compressor can handle you might run into the issue of your pressure dropping while you’re painting so just be mindful of that
@@UndergroundPaintKing I was thinking that..which is why I was also thinking of picking up a low volume gun and budget wise it wont kill the pocket. Paint King I'm probably gonna have to get one 🤣👍🏽
@@steelcitycaprice.899 it should work good for you 💪🏾
I need help ,I have a hole on my vans roof ,im going to weld a piece of metal when I cut the rust piece of ,what bondo or putty or what to use for it and for small holes here and there, thank you thank you 😅
After welding in your patch I would use a fiberglass filler first then you could level that out with regular body filler if needed then glazing putty for small imperfections if needed

Is it 100% necessary to bake the painted car part? I want to paint my car... without dismantling it
No you don’t have to bake the car
What model air compressor is it? 4.8?
It’s a 6.2 or 6.3 gallon compressor
What is you take on Dupli-color and have you used?
I’ve used it before and I’m not a big fan of it but it will work
How does the gun compare to the other vevor sata gun
This spray gun doesn’t use a lot of material like the the Vevor sata gun
Hey bro like the small compressor but how did you like the vevor lvlp spray gun I've got that very same gun but I haven't got to use it yet was you impressed with it? Your friend Larry
Hey Larry, I think the R500 did a good job just like the other version of it, so when you do get the chance to use it you won’t be disappointed!

Are you gonna attempt a whole paint job with that that compressor.
I wasn’t planning on doing a whole car
Single stage paint is it true u don’t have to prime before paint
If you don’t have damage to repair, you don’t have to prime before paint
UPK Sir what do you use to clean your spray gun? Lacquer thinner?
Yes sir Steven, you use Lacquer thinner
Thank you Sir. I'm learning a lot from your videos 👍
What brand of single-stage paint do you use?
Shopline which is a ppg brand
You said the compressor was 6.5 gallons but when I used your link it is 2 gallon
The company had to have changed it, I’ll find another link and change it
I can’t find the link that I originally had so I removed the link that was in the description, sorry for the confusion

would this setup also handle smaller clearcoat jobs like it does with laying paint, like fenders, doors, a bumper?
It should be able to handle small jobs for you!
@@UndergroundPaintKing Nice! Thanks for the reply! I'm thinking of using a 20 gallon compressor with a LVLP to paint a whole car section by section to make sure I have enough pressure. Ordered the same compressor 4 weeks ago. It trips out immediately if there is any pressure in the tank. Plugged directly into a wall plug with 20 amp service. it will not recharge, trips out. Vevor customer Service has been dancing about it for weeks but have done nothing. First said I couldn't use an extension cord, then claimed the voltage in my home to too low. Funny over 20 other power tools work perfectly. 3 videos to them and still no resolution. I'm learning to hate these guys. I will protest the credit card charge.
