If interested I’d wait 1 or 2 years, not just to work out the bugs. But better models are coming out. Corvette is doing this, v8 hybrid with insane power. I think it will be awd also, I’d have to verify that. I’m not getting rid of my gas trucks, but I’m also not going to deny being able to use 2 power sources independently is better than one in an emergency. It’s kinda nice not using any money just to drive 20minutes. The power is crazy, it is very quick.

What type of gas do you fill it up with? Premium?
91 octane mostly, I’ve used 89 and it was fine.

I don’t disagree, although my wife can drive back and forth to work everyday without using a drop of gas. The most gas I’ve used in this vehicle has been on long trips or at the drag strip. It did very good on long trips and at the drag strip. I’m very impressed so far. No issues to report, yet….to be continued.
It's the biggest scam out there and you fell for it too.... Based on your math, fact that those Jeeps are selling for pretty close to $80,000 if not more after interest... 30 grand more than the non-hybrid version. You could have had $30,000 in fuel which is about 500 tanks. As for your thinking to be off grid and have a vehicle you could buy an e-bike for about 1500.. or there are electric ATVs. The only way this would ever be worth it is if the hybrid version was exactly the same price as the all gas version. They never are, and they usually come with a huge markup on top of it. Complete waste of money
You are not very intelligent if you don’t know how much any vehicle costs right now. It’s not a 30k difference, not even close. I have that, 2 ram hemi trucks and I own my house.
