4wd auto, this is not the only modern 4wd vehicle that operates in 4wd auto this way. My Jeep grand Cherokee functions in the same manner. Don’t believe dudes on Facebook, 90 percent of the time they make stuff up for no apparent reason just to satisfy their ego. I can’t vouch for a 4th gen ram because my 4th gen ram only has 4wd lock high or low so I’m not going to make up a story about that. First hand experience beats a story every time!
