I work for the company that makes the center consel for all Ram trucks . We do all the plastic injection molding and assembly then ship them across the street to SHAP.
They did the center console imprint to hide the injection molding nipple. There's an Easter egg in the wireless phone charger - it's called a "Ramcharger," though I believe it's different in some trims and has recently been dropped for the patterned charger panel. I'd guess partly because RAM is using the name for the new Ramcharger pickup. Of course, the TRX has the infamous T-REX eating a Raptor on the underhood engine cowling.
Some car washes have an upward pressure washer meant to clean the underside. If you drilled holes in your cooler boxes expect water to be blown into them.

I have kids and 1 is allergic to stinging insects. I thought heck no! I'm not trying to have a wasp,bee or anything crawling in my truck. Was no problem Came home dumped ice out wiped it and done! I would have never known if I didn't watch the video. & since I had the software updated I have so many thing's going on! 😂 I find something new all the time
I wash my truck. I'm not taking my baby into any car wash! Lessons learned. Not ever doing that again scratched up my Mustang! I use The Chemical guys products, and they are fantastic!
At night, the fog light will turn on whenever turning, but only one. If you turn left, the bottom light goes on, and turns off whenever you are finished turning. Same with the right. Took me a while to figure that one out. I kept thinking that I had a light out 😂. It's a light to help you turn at night lol.
A thing they need is a window heater so it can be rolled down in freezing Temps. Mine just ripped itself out of the track this morning. No more drive through windows for me for now. The truck was well warm enough warmed up for 30min and was driven for 30min before even trying to roll the window down.
i had to remove the active air dam on my 2023 ram 1500 Laramie in order to install the plow mount. so now i need the air dam bypass module to stop getting a check engine light but i ant find the bypass module its a 3rd party item . i need help finding one.

All these little compartments like the center console and such all have little nubs that are actually handles so you can easily remove the liners to clean

I’ve seen that multi-function tailgate up close and personal and I think for “$995” I would gladly pay that …. Here is what pisses me off that Multfunction tail gate is only available on the Rebels and up the scale of expensive models…. I think it’s very “PETTY” of Ram not to offer that on the basic “TRADESMAN” trucks !! Any pickup truck aficionado with a tight budget can order a very basic Chevy Silverado “WT” with GM’s “MULTI-FLEX” tailgate as a Standalone option “W.T.F” Ram executives make that cool tailgate available on “ALL” Models I would special Order a Ram 1500 Tradesman immediately if I could get that tailgate…

Nice truck rob , I was able to drive the new 22 1794 edition tundra my sales manager bought it he threw me the keys so I took it far a drive it was nice truck but not sold yet
@@robmotivetoo a few things 1 money , 2 the power seems to be ok but the payload suffers , the fuel mileage isn’t that much better than my V8 . 3. I am considering going with a more heavy duty truck in terms of towing and payload etc .
@@robmotivetoo I asked the owner of dealership he had no idea of the waste gate issue the sales manger who let me drive his new 1794 said he is told it was corrected it was all in the first round shipped out . Guess only time will tell I am now seeing body molding issues , whether gaskets popping out, as if they rushed these trucks through with no quality control even if I did decide on buying one I think I will wait far the 2023 model how’s the ram?
Whenever you are airing up a low tire, the vehicle will honk whenever the tire reaches the correct PSI. Took me a bit to figure out why my truck kept honking when airing it up 😂
I like the RUclips decal. Looks good. The wrench conversion is pretty cool, can come in handy. That removable bucket with the rulers would be great to put a couple of Mountain Dew bottles and a little ice in it. 👍
2019 1500 limited owner here. Good video for non-owners but we all know about these. Came here to see if there were some true "Easter eggs" like logo changes on the control screen like Ford lariat. No luck.
I couldn't get my seats to stay down but I may have had something under them but if you flip the center section down then the feel behind the left and right section you should find a string to pull on the left side of both seats

You can disable the seat belt chime by putting your truck on run mode and buckling and unbuckling your seatbelt 10 times.

Shut the truck off in drive and the shift knob automatically moves to park.
I found that out the hard way after it did so on My 2018..had to get used to a nob period lol

Backing the truck up with the door open automatically puts it into park
