Myuna Bay Land Based Fishing

Kayak Angler becomes amateur land based fisherman. Fishing in Myuna Bay, Lake Macquarie at the Hot Water Outlet usually produces some good fish. The hot water outlet was highly rated by you guys so I thought I should give it a crack.

Hey mate, if your looking for more landbased spots walking the swansea sandflats during the summer produces some good fish, whiting on poppers are good fun on light gear

Umm around the mangroves near fern Bay does really well for me. As for lures, the Daiwa double clutch in 95mm works best for flathead. 😊Good luck

Bra there's such a good spot for bream the other way from shore using top water its great. And up Wangi way there's a great place for bream in summer an in winter u get heaps of 80cm plus tailor an the occasional jew

Land base u just have to explore some new areas I've pulled more pbs of the bank then in me yak but I did learn to fish of the bank but the start of the year I landed 2 cobia at that point on white hot prawn but keep the good work up
