I love this tutorial! Thank you for not spending tons of time showing us the fabric being sewn, or you putting in all the pins, etc. There was no wasted time in your video, which I so appreciated!! I can't wait to make some pillow cases using this method! Thank you again!
Best tutorial ever! I really appreciate how detailed, slow, and clear you walked through the process. I've watched several tutorials on the burrito method that went too quickly and/or had poor camera angles. Now I feel confident to try this method with the pillowcases fabric I just bought. Thank you so much!
Thank you for the detailed explanation! When I received the pillow kit I really had no idea as to what I was supposed to do.
Another great video, Laura. My two year old granddaughter has just started having sleepovers at our house, and I was thinking of making pillowcases for her bed.... Your tutorial came just at the right time. Those fabrics are just wonderful. Once again, Laura, thank you. 🐨🇦🇺🏖
French seams are the best! I love those fabrics. ♥️
Thanks for another great tip on this amazing pillow case with stunning prints using the Burrito Method...love it!
Love, love, love the fabric!!! How fun for the new baby in my family!!
I’m so happy you went over French seam! Thank you! Love your channel!!!!!
French seam is brilliant, thank you for taking the time to share your wonderful talent with us. Love your videos, sew very easy to follow ;)
Thank you for a wonderful easy to follow pillowcase tutorial
I never thought about using border fabrics. Great idea! I do like to make my grandkids pillow cases for each holiday. They enjoy getting them.
Best "Burrito" tutorial I've seen!
Love all those fabrics! Another great tutorial, thank you
Great video, Laura! You made French seams easy to understand, and I love your use of a border print!
Great Explanation of how to do these adorable pillow cases! Thank you!
This dreary winter day, I came across your tutorial. Thank you for an excellent video. It is so well done and I love the idea of border fabrics for the pillowcase.
Hi Laura and thanks a million for another great tutorial! These pillowcases are gorgeous and now I know how to use these beautiful fabrics with a border! 😎🌸
This is so good, you have the knack of teaching and I just love watching your videos. I always do my pillow cases with a French seam too. Its the only way to make them
I have seen several of these tutorials. This was second best but the pillowcases presented are by far the cutest.
Love them all the fabrics are adorable
This made me feel very nostalgic. 57 years ago when I was in Primary School we learnt how to sew on treadle machines. The very first thing we learnt how to sew was......a pillow case with a French seam!! Of course ours didn't have a fancy border around the top. Ours had an envelope top on it. I really like these beautiful pillow cases with the lovely borders. Will make some for my daughter's day bed out on their back deck. Thank you Laura.
Great explanation on how to make the cute pillow case. Thank you!
What a great tutorial. I now understand French seam. Thank you!
Thank you Laura! those are adorable!
Susybee is awesome. Thanks for telling us about her.
I have made many burrito pillowcases for gifts, but never thought of using border prints....will have to. Those are so pretty! A great idea! Love your channel.
Great job. Love the fabric. I make pillowcases every Christmas for the gkids. Sometimes I use that accent strip, sometimes I don’t. It is also fun to sew down that accent strip (or even along the cuff) with some glow in the dark thread.
These are just adorable and I'm looking forward to making some for my grandchildren. I love your teaching style!
Time to get making my grandkids pillow cases that will match their quilts!
I love the border print idea. I think I'll get busy picking up the prints for gifts for my lovely Grand kids. Laura, I always enjoy watching your tutorials. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.
I have made many of these pillow cases, and always with french seams. I have not however made one with a border print. Will have to go shopping again, when the fabric stores re-open, or maybe order some online.
Holy cow!! That is wonderful, just wonderful. You also skipped some of the redundancy as usual. You are terrific.
It's so refreshing to watch such a clear, concise and very well explained and demonstrated tutorial. Thank you.
Finally found the v best instructional video for making burrito pillowcases. Concise and no wasted down which helped me to remember the steps. THANK YOU
These are the greatest projects for kids.. have been making them for a few years for grandchildren, with the French seams, and they are also a help with the linen for Mum... kids have their own ... Thanks Laura, always enjoy what you’re doing.
You make sewing fun!!!! I love how you explain everything and your finished product likes amazing and very professional 🥰🧵
Hi Laura! I’m making your Pretty Pillowcases with a Flap Inside for gifts. People love them receiving them! Soon, I will make these ones. Thanks a million for making it easy for us! Have a great day! 😎🌸

Ty. You have finally clarified Allll the other burrito pillow case videos I've watched!!!😍😍 I am actually ready to try to make one w. Your method!
You always pick the most awesome fabrics, I don’t think I have ever disliked any of them.
I guess I am a visual learner. I looked at two websites that tried to tell me how this should be done, but I didn't have a clue! You video explained it perfectly. Thank you.
Love your tutorials Laura. You explain everything so well. BTW. Love your cute little pin cushion!! ☺️
Lovely fabrics. Thank you.
This is marvelous and I can't wait to make some for myself. Now, If I can only find a way to make my fitted sheets really fit and stay on, I'd be a happy camper!
Really love these, thank you
I’ve made the burrito style pillowcase before but am going to try this version too. It looks great👌
Wonderful I love the wayr you explain and make things clear.thank you very much.
Another great tutorial! I have made several pillowcases for my grandkids using themed fabric, but never used a “border print” fabric. Great idea! I like sewing French seams for inside too. Thank you!

Such clear explanations!
Love your videos. You explain everything so well.
This was awesome! We are going on a road trip this morning and wanted to bring our own pillows - which I tend to leave behind since our pillowcases are white. Whipped up two king pillowcases in minutes this morning thanks to your tutorial.
Gorgeous fabrics
thank-you. I'm going to make some for my grandkids!
You are such a phenomenal teacher❣️
Sweet!👏. Thank you. For the French seam, it can help to trim (carefully ;) the first seam down to approximately 1/8 inch before turning the pillow case and completing the final 1/4+ inch seam - reduces the likelihood of sneaky threads peeking out from the initial seam 🥰
Good point! thank you for sharing:):)
All those are so lovely, you have a great taste ♥️♥️♥️💖💖💖💐💐
I make pillowcases for the kids staying at our women's shelter. The director told me they sometimes use them as gift bags for the kids. I have never used border prints but I'm going to order some fabric (no fabric store in our town) and sew some. They look so great
These are great and an easy method, too. Crafty Gemini did a similar video from which I've been making these from for years
what a cute bunny pincushion!
I thought the same thing, Patty! I wonder if she has a tutorial for it??
Explained perfectly!!
I love your calm voice and how you so patiently teach every step in such detail. Awesome job and easy to understand for a beginner like me. However as a beginner, I would liked to have seen every step though (at the sewing machine).
Love this Thank you.
Very very beautiful!

I have been making these for years. Are you donating these or are they for family? I donated with the rest of my quilt guild. Thanks for sharing for others who might not have ever seen the process.
These are great. Would you show how to make pillowcases for the backs of recliners.
Ooooo i love yo magnifique
I really enjoy your tutorials, Laura! You explain everything so well and I appreciate your style of teaching. I've been inspired to get back into sewing after many, many years of being away from it. My, how things have changed over the years since I last used a sewing machine! I love the fabrics for these "burrito" pillows! I can't wait to make some for my grandies. May I ask you what brand is your iron? It looks cordless. I like that idea!
Also, I noticed your cute little pin cushion. Did you make that too? Do you have a tutorial for that? Anyway, Thank you again for your channel. I LOVE it!!
It is a Panasonic cordless Iron amzn.to/2stzaVE and I will be doing the pincushion soon:)

Would you please do a video on using directional fabric. There is one video out there but it’s confusing and your instructions are so easy to follow. I know you could do better. Thank You for all you do!!!
I will put it on my list, thank you for the idea!
THANK YOU for showing how to do a french seam!!! Where do I get borders that big that aren't children based?
Hello Laura
How about making it the same way with a flap?
I love frogs 🐸
Great video and instructions.
Cutting the main piece at 27" fits a standard pillow but I'd like to make a couple of pillowcases to fit Queen size pillows.
How wide would you cut the main piece for Queen? I'm thinking of cutting them at 30" or 31". What are your thoughts? Thank you.
How do you get the pillow to stay in the p.case?
