Although I am left-handed, I only cut with my right hand. Likely this is because there weren’t left-handed scissors in school when I was young. I’d say this is quite common for boomers and earlier.

Weird question… do the holes cut in the fabric not fray or rip because you have the middles stitched together and the band around the middle? It makes me wonder the longevity of the clips. I’ve never made clips so I don’t know. That’s why I’m asking, because I’m genuinely curious.

Yes! Likely $5-6 dollars where they are handmade and not run of a mill/factory. More attention goes into the details when hand made.
