Yeah, I agree. Coming from BE the 'Balls' statement was taken totally out of context - someone who hasn't got a clue about the Dutch/Flemish language ... hears 'Balls' and explodes ... poor journalism. Love you 'media' (???). Anyway, 'Balls' sound a lot better than 'Let's ride together, doesn't even care who wins, but let's show them.' That was Remco's whole perspective quoting Tom Boonen. He said and I'm quoting: Yeah, Pogi and I were annoyed for Jonas not going ... and I can totally understand that.
TL:DR: Remco realises very much that he was born in the Era of Tadey and Jonas (no particular order) so a TdF will be difficult (his words). But as we are speaking ... ITT Olympic Champion, World Champion (also in the Road race), European champion and ITT winner in 3 Grand Tours ... oh wait, at 24 years old? Get some perspecitve. Did I forget to mention that he also crashed in the Basque country race?

Pogacar is a true champion. The last 2 tours he lost, really got his motor going. He put in the work to improve, and he is demonstrating that hard work pays off. Jonas is a true champion. To even be in position he is in is remarkable. Stage 11 was the "coup De Gras" of Jonas performance for me. Hats off. Remco 1st tour is superb. I'm not a fan but his performance speaks for itself. Visma came in broken and are possibly leaving with the 2nd place rider and 2nd place in the team competition. Truly remarkable tour.

It's been a wonderful Tour. Considering one riders dominance, it's been exciting almost every day. A lot of credit has to go to Pogacar for keeping everyone on their toes - including the commentators and TV viewers. He could dominate and be boring. He certainly isn't that!

Without Pog, I think Vingegaard would be the best Grand Tour rider ever--better than Froome, who was better than Armstrong, who was on a level with Indurain.

Apparently you can only be honest on RUclips when you are Trump and those people, thay can say what they want! So let`s do it again. Who is that fine gentleman with the ITV mic with green cover that interview Poga and remco, it sems as if he ask a bit strange questions. Poga is to nice to react to any one reacting to him but you can see Remco react on his eyes on the questions he ask them. Very strange INDEED to ask those questions. Asking Poga if it`s a target to beat Jonas with more then he beat him with last year. Actually there you can see Poga reacting with a crocked smile. I mean everybod know that Poga had a week on indoor trainer after he crashed last year. Jonas had a worse crash yes but he recovered so he could even do a high altitude camp with the boys. poga attacked on every chance he got last year despite knowing he only had a week on indoor trainer, Jonas as usual sat on Pogas wheel comfortably waiting to attack on one single climb (after preparing a whole year for one Grand Tour) So.....of course Poga whant to show that he is the best (as we didnt already knew that). So let`s review...no words RUclips dont like in there....mmmm...nope (waiting for Trump to come along throwing hesitating words around him) Chappuy to the ITV interviewer with the green mic cover, that`s a good one 👍

Remco didn't have the balls to race the last few stages lol He's such a sore loser and just big baby overall. Has he ever raced before? Why's he taking everything so personally? Sorry other racers actually have an IQ over that of an infant like Remco.

Well, team sponsors will be hard to come by if it becomes too one dimensional. Team sponsors want exposure and if UAE and Tadej are too greedy, there will only be crumbs left to live on. Kills the sport.

Why do people ask questions like this? lol I don't think we're even close to being there yet. He's only up by 3 minutes to a Jonas who was hospitalized, undertrained, and lost fitness from his injury. Last year he lost by over 7 minutes and the year before that lost by around 3 minutes. Next year if Jonas can come in healthy it will be back to a good battle... both Jonas and Tadej said they performed better than ever on a climb. Imagine if Jonas was completely healthy and fully trained with a fully healthy team. The fact he even performed better than ever despite hospitalization just shows the shape he would have been in without the crash. It would be SUPER CLOSE this year if it never happened. I'm happy for Tadej don't get me wrong but he's not so good it's guaranteed... It was a lucky year for him given the state of Visma. As a fan of the sport I hope to see them both healthy next year.
