      I just got the 22” about the same time you did and I downsized from my 36” cause it was just more cooking goodness than I could stand and had too tone it down just a little bit and and I think the 22” will deliver all of the deliciousness my tummy can stand each day, lol. (Seriously tho, it’s just me and I transitioned from my small farm to being full time in my Coach and the 36” was just too large for my use now.)
      Even tho I’ve been a part of the Blackstone family for years a, I had no clue that they had the online presence and help & support that they have and I’ve been going through Blackstone Bettie’s tips and tricks and incredible recipes and she is gonna make life so much easier for this old Vet so thank you to Blackstone Betty!

    Yum! - Love the Wholly Guacamole from Costco! - I buy the paste "pucks" - they freeze well, and are just there whenever I want to make anything Tex-Mex. - Cheers! 🍷🌯

    Absolutely fantastic! That tower of a cheese grater you used is a new icon of mine... And I'm also really digging on the chipotle style bowls you had in the video before the burrito part. That's a neat thing to have in anyone's kitchen. Until next time be well!

      These are Tommy Bahama bowls I found at Tj Maxx and love them! Got them for my chicken burrito bowl video (old one on here) and they’ve become a favorite for a lot of griddled dishes for sure! Thanks so much for watching ❤

      Love to hear this! I’m still debating going chorizo or switching this dish to Italian style/sausage and beans! Both so good!

  • @nicolasveaco5395
    @nicolasveaco5395 Год назад +4

    I was always frustrated that the chorizo I got in México was leaner and had a better consistency than the plastic tube of seasoned grossness I get in the US. I started buying longaniza which is similarly seasoned raw ground pork in a natural casing. So for anyone who doesn’t like supermarket chorizo and wants something more like what was used in this video look for longaniza.

    I was so excited after the boys and eagles game that I couldn't sleep. That's an interesting take on your chorizo with the beans. I'll give yours a go after the boys finish up on February 11'th 2024...wouldn't want to change anything now and jinx them :).

    Maybe I didnt have the right kind.
    The one I had was heavy Paprika 🫢!
    I'll bet yours is delicious ,being that your such a great Chefy 💖.

    Dumb question, did you parboil the potatoes prior to throwing them on the griddle?

    • @BlackstoneBetty
      @BlackstoneBetty Год назад

      No dumb questions! The canned DelMonte are cooked! Just drop into a colander rinse off and let them sit a few to dry off some and they will fry up in butter and oil mixture great!! If I’m using potatoes fresh…I cook them/boil ahead of time.

    Sorry… looked up what “chorizo” was… (pardon the ignorance…) if it’s as spicy as any other Hispanic food, will be too much for MY “delicate” constitution…
    Next video, please!😂
    (I DO still watch to glean any other cooking technique useful for something else…)

      That is exactly why I go into explaining switching out the flavor profile! Just for you Henk! Easily switch out what type of sausage and beans…I’m a huge fan of Italian sausage and cannellini beans! Spinach or parsley instead of cilantro! Endless possibilities here!
