      Ginny look up my old school Italian cutlets video! You’d be amazed how a simple cut can create so many cutlets! I LOVE shallow frying cutlets, breaded veggies and fish etc all on the BS! I haven’t had a messy stove in years!!

    Thanks for the pork schnitzel! Another new idea for the griddle - here, it was Blackstone smash burgers tonight!
    75% grass fed beef, 25% finely chopped bacon, onion soup mix, egg, bread crumbs, Worchester sauce, spices! Basically meatloaf-on-a-brioche bun!
    A family favorite! - Cheers!

    Ok - true story: I was on trip to Chicagon and couldn’t wait to visit my fav German restaurant for some schnitzel. Well that rest is now a freaking piano bar so I’m screwed…until now. I’m doing this on Wednesday. Also going to hunt down a cabbage and mashed potatoes recipe. Thanks BB

    These look wonderful. Believe it or not, Some of the best German Schnitzel I had was from a restaurant outside the back gate of Camp Humphreys in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea near Pyeongtaek. The schnitzel was about 12 inches wide.

    Looks good.
    One of my favorites is Jägerschnitzel (a classic, German hunter-style schnitzel), so a mushroom sauce over the top with some potatoes also done on the flat top would be my preference.
    The Japanese have something similar called Tonkatsu with a brown sauce that can be store bought. Change the sauce, change the country. With a marinara sauce, they can become a pork/chicken/veal parmesan. Breaded cutlets are a versatile meal.

    Those look fine, but use the spiked side of the tenderizer and use regular Italian breadcrumbs and that's the place where you wanna be. Also, you can get an entire loin for that price and make your own cutlets. Loin is made for schnitzel!

      Thanks Cory!! We call them pork chops too and usually do them with thyme and regular bread crumbs like in a older video I showed, but the panko and pounded super big I know many know it as Schnitzel! Either way they are DE-LISH!

      Starts medium low if uncomfortable or unsure! You can always turn the heat up but you can’t unburn. Play with a small cutlet too at first. A good trick is to sprinkle a splash of water or use a toothpick in the oil on the griddle to see if it’s hot enough or too hot. Let me know if you make them! You got this!

    I don't have a meat mallet. Would a 3 lb sledge hammer wrapped in foil do the trick do you think? These looked great and idea for work lunches when all that is available is a microwave. I like getting a half pork loin when on sale. I cut them into thick chops. I have a bit of trouble cooking the chops to my liking but they can come out decent enough.

    you need to pound it out to tenderize it right? So, if I get a whole loin I should probably cut them thicker and pound them thin rather than cutting them thin, right or not?

      Hey Alan! You can use a whole tenderloin and cut them really as thick or thin as you’d like. The thicker the bigger you’ll end up with. If you see my old school cutlets video you could cut smaller and pound out bite sized or smaller pieces to add to sandwiches salads or just to take on the go!

      That's how I do it, I like a large schnitzel, about the size of a dinner plate, (it's pretty impressive when you serve them), for pork loin sandwiches, on a large sesame seed bun with shredded Iceburg lettuce, tomato, and mayo, and I like dill pickle on mine too! That's how we did them at L.C.'s Hamburgers, Etc., in Platte Woods, Mo.!!!

    Not bad. But a real Schnitzel has to swim in oil. Better in BUTTERSCHMALZ. And cook them fresh. Not a day before. The best porc part is the OBERSCHALE.😋😋🇩🇪

      My old school chicken cutlets or my video for pork cutlets two ways would be more like Milanese being thinner and having cheese in the breading! These are thicker like schnitzel but both very similar for sure! I think everyone calls them something different from across the board which is fun to read in the comments 🖤 thanks for watching!
