Brandon Russian I'm not like that, I got into supreme 3 years ago when I was able to afford it because nobody was wearing it where I lived. Two years later I saw guys wearing it everyday, I'm trying to be different when it comes to how I dress not the same as others. Like I said I own off white because I support Virgil but I'm specific when it comes to what I get, the hype stuff just doesn't catch my attention which is mainly influenced by all the cringe hypebeasts I encounter on Instagram and where I live so I rather get something that's not as hype or hype at all.
Exactly me, I stay away from hypebeast pieces unless I really like the design (like the screaming girl). And I do rly appreciate and mostly own other pieces like circle chirico, surrealism door & boat, and for all capsule.
To put you into perspective, fashion supposed to express yourself thru the way you dress, if u end up like anyone else, what is fashion even anyway? That’s why I really like off-white as a brand and stay away from what hypebeasts wear cos it say “look I got expensive t-shirt” and that’s wacky mindset, not “fashion”

RIP… I am still struggling to understand what made him important or influential. It wasn’t like his clothes were hand made, more so screen print which is very basic and his designs also seemed to be very basic. I’m not a “fashion guy” so there is maybe something I am missing. It seems as though his connections proved to assist him enough to get his designs on high profile celebs which boosted his brand. And yet I still ask myself, what did he really do?
