I don’t want to ramble on too much, but I finally got some pairs of Yeezys after this recent Yeezy day (6 pairs lol). I never was able to get them a few years back cuz I was in drugs and had no money to spend. Guy Sketchpen facts 💯
Guy Sketchpen the way ye explained it with the cake anology YES love can be calculated.
I love his respect for art. Not only did he decide the shoes needed to be displayed outside, but he got one of his artists to do it and do it well. The regular Tuesday morning backdrop makes it even better. And most importantly WHY IS THE INTERVIEWER NOT IMPRESSED!
Interviewer so out of touch with how to appreciate Kanye's mentality. He doesn't care about the vision. He's too worried about getting the answers for his column.
"I'm sorry sir but this is Forbes"
He's not retarded you mean
I agree.
Kanye is out of touch with reality.
My grandmother would've just gave me the recipe, not a bunch of bullshit.
Forbes 🗣🗣🗣 we need an interviewer connected w/the culture. There was such a missed opportunity here 🤦♀️
Queenie Johnson Forbes wants to interview Kanye as a shoe maker and a business man what’s that got to do with culture. And how tf should Forbes work make you happy and not others.
True
@@markkankam2682 Yep! He just wasn't the right person for the job.
Surely, there's a person/interviewer living in the US that is BOTH passionate in the art and business side of sneakers.

Y'all need to hire passionate interviewers who would do anything to talk to someone as special and as brilliant as Kanye West. This interviewer was boring and terrible smh.
Agreed
Everyone says “yeezys are overpriced” but they’ll buy the same Jordan’s every time a new color comes out
dat boi jordan’s are like 220 at most retail

Jordan's are classics and proven
@Thot Slayer yeezys sell for retail dumbass
@Thot Slayer Maybe you don't get yeezys for retail - but my 30-50 pairs/release say something else - you just gotta learn how to obtain them
Kanyes answer to the numbers question is truly beautiful
The fact that the interviewer was trying to question what he says; is insane
You don’t know how to use a semi colon; that’s sad

Kanye just wanted that guy to experience that stuff with him.
I love Kanye West. He's a genius and he communicates as if he tries to keep up with his own racing thoughts. I just think he's publicly misunderstood.
That's a fact
Exactly. I just don't get it. I don't understand what Kanye is saying, the interviewer, Why people buy these ugly shoes. I'm so confused.

I get what hes saying about how he feels just seeing all those shoes, those are all things that were in his head and made it out. I get the same feeling just looking at all the shirts i make, its a feeling of familiarity, suprised, excited, and simply just blown away by what you single handedly made. Knowing that all those things are from you and apart of you, it just gives you every emotion all at once and its amazing.

I don’t want to ramble on too much, but I finally got some pairs of Yeezys after this recent Yeezy day (6 pairs lol). I never was able to get them a few years back cuz I was in drugs and had no money to spend. The pst year or 2 I’ve become obsessed with sneakers again and now I have money, so for me they’re symbolic of where I am now vs where I was. I know they seem like a material possession, but sneakers can tell a story for some sneakerheads. Not to mention I’m a huge fan of Kanye and always wish the best for him. I accept and forgive his flaws. He’s said somethings in the past that can be perceived as hurtful but I truly believe Kanye has a pure soul and the intentions are always good with him🙏🏽
Spent most of the video trying to pause and get a good look at allllll those samples 😍

It’s not a shoe for us. It’s not for sneaker heads it’s MUCH MUCH MORE than that. Those thoughts are just a drop in the bucket. These are life forms, spirits, ENERGY. These come from a place most will never know. When he asks how he feels and the interviewer cannot respond and turns the question back into Kanye it’s because it’s so much bigger than him. It’s un reachable for those who can’t feel it. People literally think Kanye is insane and most just chase his ideas for clout but most will never feel the ideas and experience the spirituality that these vessels bring. When I wear my yeezys I FEEL THAT MOVEMENT. They feel IMPORTANT, thought of, cared for, something BIGGER. This interview is raw and the interviewer is not mentally built for this experience. But this interview to watch Kanye move was moving all on its own. Let that soak in. Blessed be 🙏🏼
