- TODAY I eat what I think is Asia's BEST PIZZA! I stayed at the Dolce Amore resort which has an extremely high rated restaurant on site. All of the ingredients in the pizza are imported from Italy. It was truly amazing!

41 dollars is cheap
The pizza will disappoint any pizza person problems are too much cheese and soggy crust in middle destroyed it for me. Emborg brand mozzarella available at Belcris in Dumaguete is good and I believe made in Poland. Saying the sauce is sweet annoys me and Filipinas always find a way to ruin their food by adding sugar to everything crushed tomatoes in vans from Italy or Spain do the job great no sugar needed they have natural sweetness I am a pizza cook from Australia making Italian style living in Dumaguete not running any pizza outlet yet. I have yet to find any pizza in the Philippines that is reasonable.Most are ruined by sugar crap sauce or fake cheese called pizza topping also places putting no sauce and very little cheese and no anchovies and when you ask for onion they put wafer thin sliced after cooking and even put it on after pizza is cooked with lettuce making a sick joke of the pizza .
all the cheese is gone in first bite . It is not the best
rent a motorbike just to have easy access to some places

The best pizza in Siquijor .
I think in Siquijor island, the beaches are more for snorkeling and scuba diving. That’s why it’s not sandy but rocky mostly corals. It’s also low tide when you visited that beach. It’s in Siquijor where you find sanctuaries and protected marine life. Apo island has a good reef and lots of marine life for scuba divers to explore. Siargao is good for surfing as the water is always rough. You go North of the island if you want calm waters to swim and enjoy the natural rock pools. Don’t forget to island hop so you can also check their white sand beaches and sand bars. Try to rent a bike so can explore better and enjoy the islands you are visiting
That's cool Siquijor has recovered from Typhoon Rai back in 2021. It clobbered the island and knocked down coconut trees like they were bowling pins.

I’m spoiled growing up eating thin crust pizza in New Jersey. It’s some of the best in the world. I’ve even been to Italy, and still, I like pizza from NJ better!

As a very experienced pizza maker doughy pastry is not good and did you say the sauce was sweet that's not good and far too much cheese and not spread over pizza too much in centre should be thinner pieces of mozzarella I am in Dumaguete where there are no decent pizza places and I have tried them all and was ready to go to Siquigor to try a pizza but now not so much.

You need to rent a bike and explore Siquijor .
Not just Siquijor but in order to really explore an island, renting a bike is a must. You have google map in your app and you can spend more time exploring on your own. You can save money that way. In the islands, the rent is somewhere around P300/ day.

Even though Dolce Amore's pizza looks really good,before you claim that's the best pizza in Southeast Asia you should try Gino's brick oven pizza in Shangri-La mall in Manila.I was really surprised when i tried Gino's in Manila and it has put to shame many pizzeria's in NY,NJ.If we talk Boracay then Giuseppe and Aria the best you can get on that island but Gino's in Manila is completely on another level guaranteed,maybe head to head with Dolce Amore if not better.Safe travels!

Yes,that's what authentic pizza supposed to be like.NY-ers think the best pizza is here just like Americans think this is the best country and they never even left the country to see what's out there.Once a place calls itself a pizzeria and some other pizzeria blows it away,you can't say it's orange vs apple because it's not Wagyu steak vs grilled chicken.

My wife and I have lived on Siquior for 7 years and never found any decent pizza. After watching your vlog we went in search of Dolce. I was more than skeptical, but wow, fantastic pizza right here on Siquior. We even took another to go. Also, it was sitting on the table within 6 minutes of the order being taken. Thanks for the info 👍

That pizza and gelato looks so delicious! Now that you're becoming more familiar with Filipino terms like "CR" using the word "avail" in a sentence, Salamat & Masarap. Maybe using "Po" more often when speaking to a native person, just as you were using "Khrap" in Thailand. Filipino's really appreacite non-filipino attempting to speak more like local to another person. Ingat po!
