Terry’s is the top authentic Spanish restaurant… Why? They have the ceramic dish where they serve gambas ala jillo… the jamon iberico is hang at the bar setting is wow…. And they sell the authentic Spanish products.. the sausage called chistorra it is smoky and have strong paprika or pimiento taste… Bar Pintxos has the bacalao or the cod and Spanish people loves that kind of fish…The tortilla de patatas is just common household dish with pan y tomate…. Pan con tomate dish the tomato spread is called tomaca the tomatoes where blend with only virgin olive oil and salt… Txoko is mixed Italian and Spanish, carpaccio di polpo or octopus carpaccio is italian… Callos is Spanish, if the Lengua has romanesco sauce then it’s spanish….

An idea: what about a series cooking a breakfast/lunch/dinner set of a specific cuisine? I’d watch that!
For example, an ep wherein you cook & serve a traditional (not strict but just a staple type of meal) Italian dinner? Or a Mexican lunch? Or Korean dinner?
Like how we serve pandasal, kape, margarine, cheese, scrambled eggs etc for breakfast? One with lugaw, tokwa baboy? Or tapsi, pancit canton?

If your planning to travel Madrid go to Mercado San Miguel where you can enjoy the tapas, pinchos and sangria in cheaper price… happy hours starts at 3pm til 1-2 am the next morning…

@@tiberiuskirk6899 there are a lot to try there if you go along Puerto Banos alot of beach front restaurants there or the playa fontanilla... Most of the restaurants there is mixed with morrocan dishes and Mediterranean...
San Miguel is good for first time visitors, packed with tourists, variety of food under one roof. On my last visit, their tapas did not agree with my taste buds. Do a bar crawl and walk to nearby c/Cava Baja for more tapas bars. Want more? Mercado San Anton in Chueca district can be crowded and touristy too. San Fernando in Lavapies is a smaller market.
@@panchopantera28 still here at Marbella at Casa Msasa, tried their typical fish and my taste buds are satisfied. Will try tapa very soon. My driver Alberto a local here is also my tour guide, such a good and kindhearted person. Just chillin' like a villain here. 😎😎😎

When I was in boracay I had the best tapas. I could not find another place that came close. Even high end ones don’t come close.

Spanish food is one of the best cuisines. I ate Callos with a glass of Sangria infront of the beach at Barcelona. It was 🤌. Tapas is everywhere and cheap in Spain. One of my favorite countries. ❤️🇪🇸

@@user-xn7jc7ym2j You'd be surprised how many Filipinos think tapa comes from the Spanish, because the name is identical to Spanish appetizers. Just like how so many think the Philippine lechon or the adobo originated from the Spanish because they have Spanish names.
You seem to forget we come from a country, which in the previous decades thought _everything_ was from Malays, Chinese, Spanish, and Americans (which was actually _taught in school_ ). As if we had no native culture whatsoever. Including the claims still being repeated that we are descendants of Malays (we are not), or people who insist on calling the native Austronesian groups in the Philippines, "Malay" (as a synonym for what the Spanish called the "Indio").
it helps to remind ourselves every once in a while, that we have a native culture.
Don't misunderstand me. I also think our Hispanic cultural heritage should be cultivated and preserved. It's as much a part of our identity as our native culture.

Hi Erwan, traditional Spanis tapas are eaten by hands and not with knife and fork. And some of the Spanish foods you had are not really tapas.
