This man can sing anything. It is a rabbit hole well worth diving into.

The greatest male vocalist of all time. It’s a keytar. John has an amazing voice, stage presence, passion and emotion in his music, even jumping up and down his voice doesn’t change, mic control out of this world.

John Farnham is the best singer most Americans have never heard of. Can sing ANY genre. 10 times better live. Singing "Help" live with the Melbourne Symphony orchestra is the best live vocal ever performed.

I hope you'll take the time to check out more of his stuff
His most famous hit is You're the Voice. Pick the video live with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra

It's a "Keytar"... been around since the 80s. Pretty damn expensive back then, around $2000, so mainly used by those in upper echelon of musos. This was from 1990, John Farnham's Chain Reaction concert, recorded on 14th (or 15th) December, 1990 at Flinders Park Tennis Stadium.

David Hirschfelder on keytar...musical director/keyboard had a huge impact on the overall sound and I reckon it would have been good had he stayed. Chong could still have joined as second keyboard.....
