In the context of Higurashi itself Hanyuu was an Oni who became part of the Furude family and the reason why the main reason the Furude Family are considered to be the descendants of Oyashiro-sama. The story behind Hanyuu is basically that she was leader of a group of Oni that lived in the mountains and had a tense relationship with the humans who lived in the plains (which is actually told very early during the Watanagashi chapter as the "legend of Onigafuchi Village"). She eventually falls in love with the Priest of the Furude Family and they have a daughter. Honestly poor Hanyuu got a rough lifeconsidering she was forced to kill her husband to appease demons, and her daughter was forced to kill her when she went on a delirious rampage to slaughter the men who attempted to hurt her daughter. So yes, apparently the main gist of the legend of Oyashiro-sama and the Watanagashi was actually real and not just superstition.
there are actually a lot of eiko shimamiya's songs (especially higurashi based) that have chanting in them. it's probably just japanese chanting for something to back up the song. nothing serious, but it's the element of awesomness here :D good job picking this out
In the game for Kageboushi-hen if you have voices enabled, there's a scene with Natsumi and her parents where she starts to hear people's voices all distorted and they sounded a me a lot like this demon chanting, lol.

That was creepy sounds like some j hard rock band did a song and then deleted it and when Eiko's band went in the studio they used the same equipment and the remnents of the other song came on the track too when u did this vid I thought I heard shit on it ur right about it I used to think it's my fav song but now I'm scared of how it sounds I may have said it sounded hard rock but it doesn't stop it from being creepy

When u 1st hear the song u don't hear all this when u tweak the song u hear it it wasn't done purposely. It musn't really meant to be tweaked just to listen and put on ur ipod. It looks to be that some1 wanted to add this to the song but was decided against as it's scary. So it was deleted but the remnants stayed as u can clearly hear it when Eiko isn't singing.

To me it sounds like: "wash away a rarest ..." something. I think it's really cool and interesting how musicians put subtle layers of sound into their songs like that sometimes. It enhances the feeling of richness and texture without you even realizing why.
