I love higurashi so much and I love this it's absolutely beautiful, and has amazing lyrics, mysterious, creepy and quite tragic. Perfect way to start the episodes.
I only watched up to the fourth episode last night...and it's so GOOD! #5 on the most messed up anime list, but the way this shows literally messes with your head and keeps you on edge, sending shivers up your spine, is so freaking amazing. I never thought I'd like this kind of genre (both, moe and horror/suspense/mystery) and this is literally the perfect blend of the two. TOO BAD I CAN'T FIND A RELIABLE SITE TO WATCH MORE.

@KristiyanT Sometimes you can pause and the character's faces look distorted and weird and the "bad" animation adds up to the horror atmosphere. Compared to gou and sotsu, theyre too vibrant and everything is executed smoothly
