The tranquilizers of Monochrome LCD give off major Bladerunner vibes to me. ESPECIALLY, when it plays during the last round of the game, as it's not just you vs. the dealer, instead, it's two people deciding who will live or die by their hands.
Socket Calibration is so damn good. Imo the most atmospheric track in the OST. The way the beat scatters from left to right like it's symbolizing disorientation or dizziness. The static sounds fading in and out, probably not even being part of the club's music but just the amplified sounds of the lights or the defibrilators in the room that the protagonist is hyperfixating on. And the drums that have a similar rhythm to a hastened heartbeat. The track is like cold sweat in auditory form.

Well done Mike.
Please extend general release once this is on Spotify. Like double it up. That track is way too short Edit: Same with 70k both tracks reek of passion. Also, I would not be surprised if some of the music was inspired by Hotline Miami. Edit 2: Christmas came late. Thanks Mike! Great cover art and extended track. Can't wait to see and hear future games. Also, cd when? lol
This soundtrack is a masterpiece that truly fits the game. Dare I say it defines it. You get the sense you are doing something adrenaline-ridden that is also highly illegal. But you also get a sense of being in a gentleman's game. Sure it is illegal and questionable, but it has an elegance to it. Because it is actually a pretty fair game. You aren't being seen as lesser than the dealer.
It's sort of the same feel as Inscryption in that regard. The Dealer has his rules and he will abide by them just as he expects you to abide by them. He doesn't get an exemption simply because it's his game.
@@meabh4328 It's called the same boring kick all the time. This is different, I don't know how to explain it, but this indie dev/producer really knows how to get a groove going.
@@ELjoakoDELxDmaybe you should give more techno artists a chance? the big name stuff is always best avoided, but General Release is what 2017-2019 sounded like in europe if you knew where to go. still, if the "same boring kick" thing really doesnt vibe i guess theres no point, but no shame in retrying either. there was a brief trend of instrumental and more experimental stuff though, and theres always niche record labels on bandcamp. like half of the album is really just very good techno, the other half is wonderful instrumental/ambient soundscapes, not too far off from some releases i know. you didn't necessarily get this *exact* kind of aggressive 5AM thing followed by broken, melancholic instrumentals, but you got a lot of stuff that would mix insanely well into or out of this
Blank shell is perfection incarnate, nothing can top the feeling or vibes it radiates. It coats the whole experience perfectly, the best thing an opening theme can do! Whilst the main melody is particuarlly somber at times, and even more hopeful towards the end, it creates a layer of dread as the chromaticisms climb upwards. All other songs do their job very well as well, but blank shell is probably the height of Mike's already great OST, hat's of to Klubnika!
I just want to say that you've truly captivated me. You see, I recently beat Inscryption and have been needing a game of a similar style to fill the void. And my friend, you have delivered. Thank you so much for the experience, I will be playing it more tomorrow

This world and style was insanely fresh and nice the atmosphere of the dystopian like world really pulls you in with how your character acts especially the dealer the way they talk after you sign your contract made it feel tense i wish we couldve seen from rhe balcony if there were even beings theres something about the dealer thats uncanny and disturbing his animations even if its a simple model is unerving especially when you see the red eyes glow if you succeed before getting your reward this just felt perfect so much to theorize

It keeps replaying in my head like it's some spiritual message that needs to be delivered to me.
A song hasn't affected me this hard in very long. Well done Mike.
Same, i listened to it when i was in high school😔
1:07 YO THIS PART IS FIRE
THE TRANSITION BACK TO THE BEGINNING IS AMAZING
There is a playlist called "Buckshot roulette but its a warehouse rave.." and its really similar to what the soundtrack sounds like.. Its crazy good
Please extend general release once this is on Spotify. Like double it up. That track is way too short
Edit: Same with 70k both tracks reek of passion. Also, I would not be surprised if some of the music was inspired by Hotline Miami.
Edit 2: Christmas came late. Thanks Mike! Great cover art and extended track. Can't wait to see and hear future games. Also, cd when? lol
Seconded extending general release, it’s so droning and intense, I need it injected into my veins
Yes I agree with this
Extend those 2 AND before every load. It's a forgotten banger. (And consider socket calibration, it was decent)
Damm 70k is soo good
This soundtrack is a masterpiece that truly fits the game.
This soundtrack is legit better than some music released by profesional producers these days.
It's called techno 😊
@@meabh4328 It's called the same boring kick all the time. This is different, I don't know how to explain it, but this indie dev/producer really knows how to get a groove going.
isnt it synthwave? @@meabh4328

'Now, me and you, we are dancing on the edge of life and death.' is my favorite lines in life.
I just want to say that you've truly captivated me. You see, I recently beat Inscryption and have been needing a game of a similar style to fill the void. And my friend, you have delivered. Thank you so much for the experience, I will be playing it more tomorrow
Amazing game dev. Really honestly deserves to be in the spotlight more.
Спасибо разработчику за необычную игру в таком жанре ,я до этого не видел таких проектов как этот,это радует правда,я прошел эту игру с удовольствием ❤️❤️❤️
I always appreciate horror and unsettling games without reliance on jumpscares
What a fucking master piece!
Out of nowhere youtube recommends me a video playthrough of of the game, I only watch till the beginning of the second round and instantly bought it.
Perfect piece of art, 90s computer graphics plus techno discotek plus creepy vibe... A true banger!
2:09 and 5:49 are honestly such bangers. Love this game and its music. Great work.
This hits harder than a sawed-off live round 🗣🔥
Love when the music gets louder after you get revived, especially while "Before Every Load" is playing 4:20
Thanks yo

just played this game and basically, i haven't felt this excited over an indie game since papers, please. the game embodies an effortlessly deeply unsettling atmosphere with a creepy artstyle, mixed with amazing electronic music and brilliant gameplay. all of these things together make this one of the best bite sized games i've had the pleasure of playing.
i finished the game about half an hour ago and i'm already downloading unsorted horror, i'm keeping an eye on whatever games you make cause wow!
the soundtrack its what made me grow interested in this game the most, everything about it in conjuction with the game aesthetic makes the experience that much better
General Release doesnt need to slap this hard AND YET IT DOES.
Probably my favorite of the ost! 😁
love your work Mike, never let the passion of making fun small yet in depth little games like this, you do a great job and finding your titles online will be a diamond in the ruff for a great many
i love how alongside the small snippets of gameplay and the tracklist, you also gave us a glimpse of the development process of the game through a visualization of the git commits. very nice touch and makes me appreciate your effort more.
I just wanna say as a newer game dev your games are super inspiring! Being able to make something even 10% as cool as this game would be worth the grind.
Саундтрек просто огонь мистер Клубника, игра тоже очень мне понравилась продолжай в том же духе 😊
when you get revived and the music kickes up it feels so good wish it would just permantly stay like that on your last life to really show how intense and desperate the moment is

WE ARE BUCKING THE ROULETTE WITH THIS ONE 🗣️🗣️🔥🔥
insane soundtrack. So sick. Silent hill mixed with industrial techno. Pads that burial would 100% sample. really well done
bro, just last night I came across this soundtrack video and couldn't stop listening to it.
I was so hopeful that it would be released on Spotify, that when I went to the video to listen to it again, I noticed your message with a link in the comments, my joy knew no bounds, I myself rarely play any games, but damn, I've already watched over 20 videos of this perfect sick game.
in fact, I absolutely love your vision of deadly roulette, thank you
There is a playlist called "Buckshot roulette but its a warehouse rave.." and its really similar to what the soundtrack sounds like.. Its crazy good
Probably one of my favorite games you’ve made yet, im excited for your future projects!
I could listen to this while driving at night honestly
Это действительно подходит
I cannot adequately describe how much I adore these soundtracks. I want to go deaf from them, I want to inject them intravenously, I want to go into them like I'm underwater and slowly sink to a non-existent bottom…
Mike, please don't ever stop what you're doing. After all, for some, it can be the meaning of life.
THE ROUNDS ARE ENTERING THE CHAMBER IN A HIDDEN SEQUENCE WITH THIS ONE‼️‼️🔥🔥
I just finished playing through Unseen Horrors and Buckshot Roulette! Your games are amazing, and I really love the grungy/industrial vibes from your games! The music is top notch too
Such a cool game and a fantastic soundtrack. The way you mixed it to have the music coming from another room really adds to the atmosphere!
I love it when game develoopers have a heart for music, and hit the right music genre! Keep up the fire!!🔥🔥
*reminiscing life with Blank Shell.*
*bopping our heads to General Release.*
*loading the round in an unknown order Before Every Load.*
*dancing on the edge of life and death with Socket Calibration.*
*leave the night club with 70k.*
*or die to You are an Angel.*
What about monochrome LCD?🪲

The soundtrack to this game is amazing! I can replay these songs for hours and never get tired of them.
WE MAKIN IT OUT THE GREY, BLEAK, SUICIDAL INDUSTRIAL DYSTOPIA WITH THIS ONE 🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💯💯
THIS GAME WAS DARK AND GRIDDY FR 🗣️🗣️‼️‼️‼️🔥
рад что игра так раскрутилась всего за несколько дней
можно даже сказать *выстрелила*
И нанесла двойной урон🎉
empty shell on loop has gotten me through many shifts at my job, thanks for all the work you do mike
The beats the kicks bass and everything.... Its perfect.
There is a playlist called "Buckshot roulette but its a warehouse rave.." and its really similar to what the soundtrack sounds like.. Its crazy good
This has got to be one of the darkest and deepest soundtracks I’ve heard from any game in a while, let alone an indie solo-developed game. Incredible atmosphere, dreadful yet adrenaline inducing. Hats off to you Mike klubnika, favorite game of the year so far.
