why is everyone calling the dealer "some monster" he's just a chill guy, he even follows the rules of his own game and doesnt cheat, even if it means death for him honestly i would be homies with the dealer
Him playing entirely fair is what makes him so monstrous really, I mean he enjoys the thrill of this life or death game so much hes willing to put his own life on the line just to ride on that risk even if he dies
I think the Dealer is called a demon and a monster because of his appearance (strange face or mask, hands independent of the body, and the body itself is hidden in darkness) and the fact that he is clearly not human. He also made a positive impression on me. He's like an inverted Slenderman - this guy seems like a decently dressed friend, but if you let your guard down, he'll immediately try to do something bad to you with his hentai tentacles. And Diller even treats the player to beer and cigarettes at his own expense. He even thought of a mechanism that was guaranteed to give the player money if he lost and was already dead (or still dead). I wouldn’t be surprised if he also pays for the services of a resuscitator, painkillers and all blood components for transfusion. This would be a colorful friend with a generous nature and problems associated with gambling addiction, who would invite you to a rave party even on a weekday evening. He would also always be on an emotional swing, either breaking up or making peace with his anorexic girlfriend because of his adrenaline junkie and trying to get her to eat.
I like how the protagonist isnt like "why am i here, im scare", no instead the protagonist knows why and what he or she is here for and kicking doors, i love this game
First run deathless player here. The dealer seems to panic in the 3rd round resulting in a ton of self-shots, so I took full advantage and gave him a sawed-off goodbye on his final two hit points.
My playthrough on the 2nd round the dealer drank 3 beers and cycled all blanks just to end up killing himself with the final round in the shotgun which happened to be live lmao
The first time I played, the game didn't show 3D for some reason as I had to use the OpenGl3 rendering option. Could see the text and mouse to know if I could click something , so I could play until I died at the final round and the game crashed. Second try launching, first time I could actually see since it didn't glitch out again...and got it first time too. Got shot once but didn't die, also saw the dealer eat a self shot to complete round 2, and I capped off round 3 with a magnifying glass to see a live round while I held a saw in front of the dealer in his last life. Pretty cool game
In my first run he played flawlessly with great luck in the third round. And even though i was really tactical he whooped me. Dealer can be vary random.
With my second run being my most perfect run without using most items, the dealer didn’t had defribilators already and I was at full health it was one shot and he was dead, in his turn he handcuffed me and I assumed he would kinda destroy me since his side of the table was full of hand knives but in the end he ended up shooting himself 3 times with two blanks and one live round, it was kinda strange but satisfactory at the same time it’s like he was so afraid even with most of the chances to win he didn’t do anything at all or simply just accepted his fate
It makes you wonder if the man smoking outside the dealers room chose to leave in fear of what was presented choosing to not risk his life and instead smoke away from the party while your player chooses to embrace the risk for reward kicking down the door with no fear until met with the dealer and shotgun himself
I thought he was the doctor reviving you when you get killed. He also says "it" When referring to the dealer leaving you the charge so maybe the dealer is the devil who beat god and the doctor/smoking guy is just there to help out. Edit: Looking at the top of both characters foreheads it looks like they're the same model so I'd say it checks out, but the dev could expand the story latter so who knows

Tbh the dealer is someone I’d like to be friends with, he respect the rules of his own game to even put the handcuffs on himself and he doesn’t cheat. Even when you almost lost he’s like 'be careful!' plus he tells you 'welcome back' when you come back, just a happy guy enjoying playing with his life.✨
I brought Nerf shotgun to my frends house, Orange was Live round, Blue was blanks. We used water bottles as beer, rope, scissors as handsaw and other items, we played a straight 2 hours, and also i played this. Edit: I lost.

You wake up in a bathroom, on the mirror says “AFRAID”. You kick the first door down, a man depicted on the video looking down 3 floors. At the bottom, a lively and blitzful crowd with lights and music. The night is young. You walk past and kick the second door down. In front of you is a table with a 12 Gauge Shotgun with a waiver form. You enter the name and see it stamped out onto the paper. A signature. As you set that aside, to your right is an electronic tally-board. And across the table is the dealer. He is nowhere near human like but is up for a game. Similar to Russian roulette. You have 2 lives and 2 blanks. With each course you go through, you gain items that will help you throughout. A cigarette, boost in confidence and while bad for the lungs, will give you an extra life. A beer can, useful for confidence and an allowance to rack a round out of the Shotgun. Indicating either a blank or live. A magnifying glass, great for smashing into the table out of pure adrenaline and gives you an ability to see what the round you’re firing is. A pair of handcuffs, useful for jail time but also useful for skipping your opponents turn. The dealer will even ensure fair game by cuffing himself to the table. Speaking of which, the dealer gets the same advantages. Are you willing to risk your life? A little game of *Buckshot Roulette* wouldn’t hurt. ;)

You have 2 lives and 2 blanks. With each course you go through, you gain items that will help you throughout. A cigarette, boost in confidence and while bad for the lungs, will give you an extra life. A beer can, useful for confidence and an allowance to rack a round out of the Shotgun. Indicating either a blank or live. A magnifying glass, great for smashing into the table out of pure adrenaline and gives you an ability to see what the round you’re firing is. A pair of handcuffs, useful for jail time but also useful for skipping your opponents turn. The dealer will even ensure fair game by cuffing himself to the table. Speaking of which, the dealer gets the same advantages. Are you willing to risk your life? A little game of *Buckshot Roulette* wouldn’t hurt. ;)
