@RomanexiaRocce hi there, for myself, it took me roughly 15 months. I achieved my target weight in September 2019, so it was quite a while back. Since then, I have maintained it till now. Still doing Heather's workouts but I would say it's a combination and balance of eating healthily (i watch my carbs and eat lots of protein, also practice Intermittent Fasting), drinking plenty of water, adequate rest and exercise. I would say it has been a journey and a lifestyle and will continue to be.
There are times that your body is just not ready for a high intensity workout but you still want to burn some calories and sweat it out. This one is SIMPLY PERFECT for that. It literally works every part of your body and increases your heart rate without any jumping. Heather, you are amazing.
This was a life-changer. Seriously. Knee surgery took away any impact movements for me and I haven't been able to sweat like this in forever. Thank you for this CREATIVE and INNOVATIVE workout. So grateful, @HeatherRobertson. 🙏🏽

I have been doing Heather's workouts everyday since the quarantine and I love them! On this low impact workout, I like to hold 2 lb. weights to increase the intensity. I have back and knee issues, so I want low impact, but also high intensity. Please make more of these low impact workout videos! I love them!

More LI workouts please!! Since I'v gained, HIIT workouts take a toll on my body only allowing me to perform them 3x a week. When I add the LI workouts into my HIIT week, they help me get the cardio and movement that I need without my body feeling like it hit a brick wall. Keep them coming please, with and without weights!

Thank you so much for this workout program! I followed the 12 week program last year to prepare for hiking the Pacific Crest Trail. I finished November 16th but have been suffering from plantar fasciitis ever since. This program is an absolute life-saver until I am finally healed.
I started working out about a month ago, and jumped straight into hiit workouts and running every day. And of course, it backfired on me and my knees started hurting terribly. I was devastated and felt like I lost my motivation because I’ve tried other low impact workouts before and they didn’t really work for me, but then I stumbled upon your channel and omg it’s amazing! I just did this video this morning and I felt incredibly good after that. Gonna start working out again tomorrow with your low impact workouts, thank you so much!!

SUCH a good one---low impact=TOUGH and SWEATY!!! 5-17-25 REALLY love and appreciate this one--the slower, more intentional moves enabled me to have a much stronger mind/body connection than when I am doing high impact movements that I probably perform with less precision.

I really love these low impact workouts, Heather! I've been doing beachbody for a little while now and it's too much jumping for me. I feel like I need to tell you that these low impact workouts are really good for women who suffer from PCOS and they are REALLY hard to find. It maybe worth talking about that in a post some time? Women who suffer from it usually see best results sticking to low impact, yin style movement. Food for thought. Thanks though, they're very well done!

Heather, I love you! 😘 I did your 12 week challenge last April, continued to do your workouts outside in the summer for a great sweat, and now after I was cleared by my doctor a couple months ago- I came back for these low impact / strength workouts while pregnant with twins! Everyone says I'm "all belly" and I always give you credit for helping me stay motivated to be healthy and fit even when I need to modify now. :) Thank you!!!!!
I love this channel. The preview is really helpful, the exercises are smartly combined so they don't get boring, and the pace is just perfect, without rushing so the exercise is correctly done. Most channels are too speedy... Also, I love the lack of patronizing smiles :D
Dear Heather, you are just fabulous. After working out for a number of years, I wore down the cartilage in my knee, basically a torn menicus and I cannot run or jump. You have got to be the most efficient and creative person on the Internet regarding low impact workouts that make you sweat like high impact cardio. Keep up the great work. This workout is a great one for mixing things up - especially if you normally assume you have to jump to get your heart rate up. Focusing on technique and consistency in this one really worked me over! And you can always throw in some explosive moves if you must. Thanks Heather!
I live in San Francisco and we are currently sheltering in place because of the Covid-19 epidemic. I'm trying to keep my outings to a minimum and stay in my apartment as much as possible. This low impact workout was EXACTLY what I needed. My knees really appreciate it (I'm sure my neighbors do too!) I thought that the lack of voiceover was going to confuse me but the preview clips in between the intervals were super helpful. I felt very taken care of. I will definitely add this to my rotation and I look forward to trying the rest of the series. Thanks so much!
This is a great work out, initially thought it wouldn't do much, but my fitbit is telling me, 40 min, 400 calories burned! I normally stick to the weight workouts, will be doing this one more frequently!
Heather, I love this low impact workout. I’m 46 and recovering from adrenal fatigue. I spent my 20’s and 30’s in fast forward, stress induced everything (turns out you can be addicted to stress), workouts included. This workout is fantastic for endurance, strength, and for feeling energized. Not depleted. Thank you for your creativity and variety, I appreciate the work you put out in the world♥️☺️!
Fantastic and I love how these exercises are easily leveled up should the low impact become a bit monotonous :) Just two editing points to consider as someone who does these workouts regularly and forgive me for the public commentary but I did not see a way to submit this privately. 1.) The timer needs to be a darker color than the background because when both are white it is difficult to keep track of (though the timer sound does help!) 2.) For the warm-up and cool down may I suggest adding the name for the exercise so we can anticipate what comes next...regardless still really enjoyed this one and generally enjoy your offerings. I ve always been coming back to that workout for years as partly a finisher, as a complete to do a cardio one and preserve my joints, or after a break of many days or weeks... one of my favorite, but I admit many of yours are my favourite 🤭 and your metcons are so so fabulous too...
Heather, I know this is an oldie but oh so good. I’ve been following you for about 18 months. First time in awhile I didn’t need to modify anything. Did it with light/4# weights and I’m dripping. So need more of these with my many physical issues (hips-replaced and waiting for the other one to get done, torn tibia tendons both ankles, osteoporosis…LOL I'm a mess!). So appreciate and need you and may never go back to the gym. ❤️

Love this workout. Was troubled with ball of foot pain. So, could not walk/run to lose weight. This helped me burn calories with no impact to the injury.

Excellent workout. I used to be a competitive runner and I tore a muscle in my thigh that has never totally healed and gets so agitated with high-impact workouts. This workout gets my heart rate way up and helps me work all my muscles without straining them too much! Thanks!

Great low-impact lower body workout! This can easily be intensified by increasing your speed or adding a mini band or light weight.

I was looking for something low impact to do as I’m feeling sluggish day two of my period & this workout certainly helped! 😊

I love this channel. The preview is really helpful, the exercises are smartly combined so they don't get boring, and the pace is just perfect, without rushing so the exercise is correctly done. Most channels are too speedy... Also, I love the lack of patronizing smiles :D

Dear Heather, you are just fabulous. After working out for a number of years, I wore down the cartilage in my knee, basically a torn menicus and I cannot run or jump. You have got to be the most efficient and creative person on the Internet regarding low impact workouts that make you sweat like high impact cardio. Keep up the great work. What you have been giving us is leaving a lasting impact on how we can work around our fitness challenges. Thank you. :-)

This workout is a great one for mixing things up - especially if you normally assume you have to jump to get your heart rate up. Focusing on technique and consistency in this one really worked me over! And you can always throw in some explosive moves if you must. Thanks Heather!

I live in San Francisco and we are currently sheltering in place because of the Covid-19 epidemic. I'm trying to keep my outings to a minimum and stay in my apartment as much as possible. This low impact workout was EXACTLY what I needed. My knees really appreciate it (I'm sure my neighbors do too!) I thought that the lack of voiceover was going to confuse me but the preview clips in between the intervals were super helpful. I felt very taken care of. I will definitely add this to my rotation and I look forward to trying the rest of the series. Thanks so much!
This is a great work out, initially thought it wouldn't do much, but my fitbit is telling me, 40 min, 400 calories burned! I normally stick to the weight workouts, will be doing this one more frequently!

Heather, I love this low impact workout. I’m 46 and recovering from adrenal fatigue. I spent my 20’s and 30’s in fast forward, stress induced everything (turns out you can be addicted to stress), workouts included. This workout is fantastic for endurance, strength, and for feeling energized. Not depleted. Thank you for your creativity and variety, I appreciate the work you put out in the world♥️☺️!
Fantastic and I love how these exercises are easily leveled up should the low impact become a bit monotonous :) Just two editing points to consider as someone who does these workouts regularly and forgive me for the public commentary but I did not see a way to submit this privately. 1.) The timer needs to be a darker color than the background because when both are white it is difficult to keep track of (though the timer sound does help!) 2.) For the warm-up and cool down may I suggest adding the name for the exercise so we can anticipate what comes next...regardless still really enjoyed this one and generally enjoy your offerings. I ve always been coming back to that workout for years as partly a finisher, as a complete to do a cardio one and preserve my joints, or after a break of many days or weeks... one of my favorite, but I admit many of yours are my favourite 🤭 and your metcons are so so fabulous too...

Heather, I know this is an oldie but oh so good. I’ve been following you for about 18 months. First time in awhile I didn’t need to modify anything. Did it with light/4# weights and I’m dripping. So need more of these with my many physical issues (hips-replaced and waiting for the other one to get done, torn tibia tendons both ankles, osteoporosis…LOL I'm a mess!). So appreciate and need you and may never go back to the gym. ❤️

Hi Heather, this was very nice for the morning training. Although it was not very challenging I've burned more than 360cal. It is a suprise for me.
thank you so so much for this!! i'm a runner, but i have some recently-discovered hip problems, and i need to cut down on running. i love (need) to get my heart rate up still, and did this workout for the first time today. it was amazing, and got my heart rate up just like running!! you are the BEST, heather!!! thank you for making my time away from running easier :)

i think this is the most burning low impact hiit ive ever done. every session i burn around 260+ calories which is more than the usual low impact hiit i ever did. please do more of these videos. thanks!!

Whoa whoa whoaaaa ! This was superb Heather ! Clearly , thou shall not be fooled by "low impact" . It is so good to wake up everyday and not hunt for workouts . You and your workouts are a blessing . A monthly calendar , is such a great idea . And all this for free online , Thank you Heather .

Excellent workout. I used to be a competitive runner and I tore a muscle in my thigh that has never totally healed and gets so agitated with high-impact workouts. This workout gets my heart rate way up and helps me work all my muscles without straining them too much! Thanks!
