    Holy crap, it sucks trying to get the throttle electrical connection off. Laying upside-down trying to pinch the fitting off. 😂

    Coming from mk5 Supra, the GTR's "lugging" throttle response and turbo lag have been my biggest gripe. I'll try this out. Thanks, love the channel. I've been watching for years. 🙌

    If u have a TCM trans/ecm tune why would u waste ur time with a pedal commander?

    • @BrosFOURRSpeed
      @BrosFOURRSpeed  2 года назад +4

      The TCM tuning is unrelated to the pedal commander. Like I talked about in the video. It makes the pedal react quicker. Doesn’t effect the transmission at all. The throttle pedal send electronic signals to the throttle bodies.

      @@jetblkm3112 you’ve tried the pedal commander on your tunes cars? Odd you wouldn’t notice the quicker pedal response. Keep in mind pedal response is not part of what’s tuned with ECU and TCM tuning

    So this is like having it on BMW F8x I never drove the car with Sport+ as the pedal was super-responsive.
    Now it's time for some exterior mods :) side skirts, rear diffuser and front lip to finish that look!
    Problem I'm having now? I need to follow all the mods you did. I just wanna stay away from Corn. Intakes/exhaust/fuel pumps/injectors and re-tune it. Wonder if I need a FMIC, probably!

    • @BrosFOURRSpeed
      @BrosFOURRSpeed  2 года назад +1

      Honestly yes. Wheels have to pass certain specs to even be road legal. It's overkill for 90% of buyers who get those forged wheels. Why spend $10k on wheels when you actually wont even get any benefits of the lighter/stronger design. Unless you're competitively racing for money and need every bit of weight savings, it's all a waste. These are just as strong as stocks and weight within a pound of stock too. And can easily handle launch control lol

    Maybe some draggy content in different settings too see if it does anything different in acceleration.

    • @BrosFOURRSpeed
      @BrosFOURRSpeed  2 года назад +1

      It won’t do anything for acceleration, since like I said in the video, it doesn’t add power. It helps when you’re on and off the gas and doing different inputs. Flat out acceleration is pedal to the floor once. So that split second of better throttle response isn’t going to do anything

    I was waiting for this video. The Supra was crazy responsive with the pedal commander but add that to the GT-R it takes it to a whole new level. I thought that the throttle pedal was connected to the throttle body via a cable. Miss those days when you could rev the engine from the engine itself cuz the throttle body was visible the ones that had the cable.
    Can't wait for those transmission builds. Always wanted to know how they are done. 🔥🔥🔥

    Great video! I didn't know we can use the pedal commander like other folk can thanks!!! If I am not mistaken I am pretty sure our ECM tunes track throttle position in relation to other tables like I do know there is a tq application table based on throttle position within ecutek if I rememeber right *could be wrong* that controls how much tq the car thinks it is getting when you first start moving from a stop... I wonder if this would change that or... does the ecu still read the same theoretical throttle percentage... interesting.. great video like always!!!

    • @BrosFOURRSpeed
      @BrosFOURRSpeed  2 года назад +1

      It doesnt change any of the throttle tables in the ECM. It adjust the physical pedal in relation to the throttle bodies opening. It makes them open more quickly and sooner in relation to when you hit the pedal. Just it makes you have the ability to adjust one more link in the chain of throttle pedal>throttle bodies> power>acceleration. It get the weak link of the pedal to throttle bodies sharpened up. Just one more way to fine tune every aspect of the car!
