I start my fist day on the job on Monday, June 10th, 2024 @ Mazda/ Volkswagen dealership. I have done Outside sales as an HVAC contractor selling HVAC equipment. Selling cars is a new adventure, but I am hoping for the best.

80 percent of customers are interested in 20 percent of a car’s features and don’t be afraid to ask for the sale.

I find demoing the vehicle myself on the test drive and showing off the safety features and other features leads to more sales especially with those coming in from cars older than 2016

Great video Neil! I feel like these tips could be applied to many categories in this area (I.E. RV/Boat/Motorcycle etc) And the last one is huge, beside marketing yourself you could also generate an additional income off these platforms if your personal brand becomes large enough!

Dynamic trade appraisals, get the used car manager to drive the customers trade in with the customer once they are back from the test drive. Used car manager will point out any clunks or wear and tear while building rapport. Once the used car manager and customer are back you then go to numbers, Used car manager can also present the ACV of the trade in depending on the situation.
    Works every time…

I’m so glad I stumbled across this video. I’m thinking about getting into the car sales industry. What’s crazy is that I’m just like you. I’m a bit on the introverted side but I can always improve. I have a few dealers in mind that are close by my house that I wanna go interview for. There’s a Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Audi and Porsche dealers nearby. Any suggestions?

Hey my man, thank you for sharing this valuable great content, as a newbie in the auto sales world I really appreciated this video. Just a small recommendation, make the background music lower so the information can be heard better, especially when the viewer is using headphones. BTW the music is great just a little loud. I will be checking your channel, thanks a lot.

I got a job to sell cars because I got laid off…I was in finance and only sold money…there is alit to it and you can make alit of money.,,pretty easy but you have to work hard and put in the hours but it sucks man….the process is burning, customers are dumb as shit and don’t know anything about the cars, their price and money. It’s brutal but easy to trick them into buying….in any event I can’t wait to pass my certs and ai am out of the car business for good. At least I know how to buy a car now….a d sell someone anything they don’t need or really want lol 😮
