      Thank you for your continued interest in this topic. We appreciate your diligence in seeking information about the specific form of Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) in supplements.
      If you're actively looking for R-Alpha Lipoic Acid, it's crucial to review the product labels closely and ensure that the supplement you choose explicitly states that it contains this form. R-ALA is often specifically mentioned to distinguish it from other forms of ALA.
      When selecting supplements, it's essential to prioritize transparency and quality. Many reputable supplement manufacturers will clearly indicate the type of ALA included in their product to assist consumers in making informed choices.
      Your commitment to understanding the supplements you consume is commendable, and it's a crucial aspect of maintaining your health and well-being. Thank you for your thoughtful question. When it comes to taking Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) for tingling and numbness in your feet and hands, the timing and dosage can be important factors.
      Best Time to Take ALA: While there isn't a strict rule for the best time to take ALA, many people find it convenient to split their dosage. Since you have 600 mg tablets, you could consider taking one in the morning and the other in the evening. This can help maintain a consistent level of ALA in your system throughout the day and potentially offer more continuous support for your nerves.
      Consult Your Healthcare Provider: However, it's essential to consult with your doctor or a healthcare professional about the best timing and dosage for your specific situation. Given that you've mentioned your nerves are getting weaker and you're experiencing tingling and numbness, their guidance is vital. They can provide personalized recommendations based on your medical history and overall health.
      Consistency is Key: Consistency in taking ALA is often more important than the exact time of day. Try to establish a routine that works for you and stick with it. This can help ensure you receive the potential benefits of ALA over time.
      We appreciate your engagement and your commitment to addressing your health concerns. If you have any more questions or need further information, please feel free to reach out. Your health and well-being are our top priorities. Take care! 🌟👍@@maryrosespiteri4117

    The active ingredient should only contain "R - Alpha Lipoic Acid".
    Not S - Alpha lipoic or RS - Alpha lipoic (or any combinations of these)

    • @AlinartHealth
      @AlinartHealth  Год назад +4

      Thank you for your comment and for sharing your perspective on Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) formulations. You've highlighted an important aspect of ALA supplements that many viewers may find helpful.
      You're absolutely correct that there are different forms of ALA available, including R-Alpha Lipoic Acid and S-Alpha Lipoic Acid, as well as RS-Alpha Lipoic Acid (a mixture of both). The "R" form is often considered the biologically active and more potent form of ALA, while the "S" form is typically less active. Some individuals may prefer supplements that contain only the "R" form for its perceived higher effectiveness.
      It's essential for consumers to read product labels carefully and, if necessary, consult with a healthcare professional or a qualified expert to choose the right ALA formulation based on their specific health needs and goals. Preferences can vary from person to person, and what works best for one individual may not be the same for another.
      Again, thank you for sharing this valuable insight to help our viewers make informed choices when considering ALA supplementation. If you have any more information or experiences to share, please feel free to do so. We value your contributions to our community!

      ¡Gracias por tu pregunta! El ácido alfa lipoico (ALA) es un antioxidante que se ha estudiado por sus posibles beneficios para la salud en diversas áreas. Es importante destacar que mientras el ALA puede tener beneficios generales para la salud, no se ha demostrado científicamente que tenga un impacto específico en las relaciones sexuales.
      En general, a los 55 años, es importante mantener un estilo de vida saludable que incluya una dieta equilibrada, ejercicio regular y, en caso necesario, consultas con profesionales de la salud. Para cuestiones específicas relacionadas con la función sexual, se recomienda hablar con un médico o un profesional de la salud sexual, ya que pueden proporcionar orientación personalizada basada en la historia médica y las necesidades individuales.
      Recuerda que la información proporcionada en este video y esta respuesta es de carácter general y no sustituye el consejo médico personalizado. Si tienes más preguntas o necesitas información adicional, no dudes en preguntar. ¡Cuidate! 👍😊

    Is eating walnuts just the same as taking an ALA supplement and giving the same health benefits? I've read that walnuts contain around 1.8 to 2.5 grams (1800 mg - 2500 mg) per 30 gram serving.

    • @AlinartHealth
      @AlinartHealth  6 месяцев назад

      While walnuts contain Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) and can contribute to your overall ALA intake, consuming walnuts alone may not provide the same health benefits as taking an ALA supplement. Here's why:
      1. ALA Concentration: While walnuts do contain ALA, the amount of ALA varies depending on factors such as the variety of walnut and how they are processed. While a 30-gram serving of walnuts may contain around 1.8 to 2.5 grams of ALA, the actual amount can vary.
      2. Bioavailability: The ALA in walnuts may not be as readily absorbed by the body as ALA from supplements. Factors such as individual digestion, metabolism, and interactions with other nutrients can affect the bioavailability of ALA from food sources like walnuts.
      3. Supplement Formulation: ALA supplements are available in concentrated forms, often standardized to contain specific amounts of R-ALA, the biologically active form of ALA. This allows for more precise dosing and may provide more consistent health benefits compared to relying solely on dietary sources like walnuts.
      While incorporating walnuts into your diet can contribute to your overall ALA intake and offer additional health benefits such as heart health and brain health, taking an ALA supplement may be more effective for targeting specific health concerns or achieving higher ALA levels in the body.
      As always, it's essential to maintain a balanced diet rich in a variety of nutrients, including ALA-containing foods like walnuts, while also considering supplementation if needed. We recommend consulting with a healthcare professional to determine the most appropriate approach for your individual health goals and needs. 🌰💊👩⚕️

      @@AlinartHealth Thank you very much for your reply which is very much appreciated. I have been confused as the "ALA" supplement is Alpha Lipoic Acid whereas the "ALA" in walnuts is Alpha Linolenic Acid but both abbreviated as "ALA" so not the same. I'm sure the Alpha Linolenic Acid in walnuts does give benefit, but it will be different to the Alpha Lipoic Acid of the supplement discussed in your video. My apologies for the confusion and thank you again for your reply. Regards, Steven.

    Can you please say if this is safe with Mercury fillings please? Having scary nerve symptoms that disables me more every day. I'd love to take R ALA but have 4 amalgam fillings and don't want any further heath issues

    • @AlinartHealth
      @AlinartHealth  6 месяцев назад

      We understand your concern about the safety of Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA), especially in conjunction with mercury fillings. While ALA is generally considered safe for most people when taken at appropriate doses, it's essential to address your specific situation and health concerns.
      Here are some points to consider:
      We highly recommend consulting with a healthcare professional, such as a dentist or a healthcare provider knowledgeable about mercury fillings and ALA supplementation. They can provide personalized advice based on your medical history and individual circumstances.
      Some studies suggest that ALA may interact with heavy metals like mercury. However, the evidence is limited, and individual responses may vary. A healthcare professional can help assess any potential risks and benefits based on your unique situation.
      If you're hesitant about taking ALA due to concerns about mercury interactions, you may explore alternative supplements or treatment options that may be better suited to your needs. Your healthcare provider can help guide you in selecting the most appropriate approach.
      If you do decide to take ALA, it's essential to monitor any changes in your symptoms closely. If you experience any adverse effects or worsening of your nerve symptoms, discontinue use and consult with your healthcare provider immediately.
      Ultimately, the decision to take ALA or any supplement should be made in collaboration with a healthcare professional who can provide personalized guidance based on your individual health status and concerns.
      We understand the challenges you're facing with nerve symptoms, and we encourage you to seek support and guidance from qualified healthcare professionals who can help you navigate this situation. Your health and well-being are our top priorities, and we wish you the best in finding relief and support for your symptoms. 🌟👩⚕️💖

      Choosing between Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) and R-Alpha Lipoic Acid (R-ALA) depends on various factors, including individual health goals and preferences.
      Here's a breakdown to help you decide:
      1. Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA): This is a broad term that encompasses both R-ALA and S-Alpha Lipoic Acid (S-ALA). ALA supplements may contain a mixture of both forms or solely consist of S-ALA. While still beneficial, S-ALA is generally considered less biologically active than R-ALA.
      2. R-Alpha Lipoic Acid (R-ALA): This is the natural, biologically active form of ALA and is often considered more potent and effective. R-ALA is typically derived from natural food sources and is believed to have superior antioxidant properties.
      Which is Better?
      • R-ALA: Many individuals prefer R-ALA for its perceived higher effectiveness and potency. It's the form naturally found in the body and is considered the biologically active form.
      • ALA: ALA supplements that contain a mixture of R-ALA and S-ALA may still offer benefits, but they may be less potent compared to supplements containing solely R-ALA.
      Ultimately, the choice between ALA and R-ALA depends on your specific health needs, preferences, and budget. We recommend consulting with a healthcare professional or a qualified expert to determine the most suitable option for you.
      Thank you for your question, and we hope this information helps you make an informed decision. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to ask. Your health and well-being are important to us! 🌟👩⚕️👍
