👉 My favorite Alpha Lipoic Acid Supplement: bit.ly/34OtAl1
I want to share some information with you regarding alpha lipoic acid and its role and relationship in two different medical conditions.
In the first study, which is a meta-analysis, it was concluded that ALA supplementation among patients with metabolic diseases significantly decreased fasting glucose.
In the second study, it was found that oral treatment with thioctic acid (another name for ALA) improved symptoms of polyneuropathy without causing serious adverse events.

    Effects of ALA:
    1. On glucose control (blood sugar) and on lipid profile:
    - meta-analysis
    - improvement in glocose homeostasis levels and lipid profile
    - no effect on HDL
    - has effect on blood sugar regulation!!! (Helps glucose get into fell membranes)
    How does it work:
    - the cell membrane has a "glute-door", that needs to open in order for the glucose to enter
    - the insulin attaches to the insulin receptor on the same cell. This activation signals for the door to open. Glucose enters the cell and gets converted into ATP.
    - ALA improves the "door opening mechanism". If glucose does not enter cells, it stays in the blood and makes it sticky. Everything (arteries) gets coated in blood sugar (glycation). Diabetes is hard tp heal when you have high blood sugar.
    - the idea is to first make blood sugar more stable.
    - if ALA works for you it will bring your BS down. At the same time you should NOT use high amounts of BS medication because you may end I'm hypoglycemia (too low sugar).
    Dosage:
    - 600mg to 2400mg/ day
    - start low
    - ne monitored by doctor who understands this
    2. Another study:
    - neuropathy (nerve damage)
    - causes:
    - high BS
    - metformin (drug) leads to B12, CoQ10 and folate deficiency --> CoQ10 deficiency
    Advice:
    - if you're on metformin, ask tp be tested for CoQ10, B12 and folate, to estimate wether you have neuropathy based on high BS and/or deficiencies

Felt relaxed, even remembered my dreams, whoa, so I go with the 1800 mg/day saving the last dose at bedtime. I take no prescription drugs, so this high-dose ALA regimen should make a difference.

Hmmm! I hope your B12 and B6 and other micronutrients are at appropriate levels. I recommend you ask your physician about this!!! For indeed, the medical industrial complex's failure to properly research and diagnose and treat diet and microbiome and sleep and vital deficiency issues (including, for example, those related to Glutathione and ALA and Vitamin D3 and Vitamin K2 and Vitamin C and Magnesium and Potassium and Zinc and fiber deficiencies, as well as iatrogenic prescription medication usage, as well as relatively common genetic polymorphisms that may require special supplementation with already biologically activated forms of vitamins such as methyl B12, L5-MTHF, P5P, etc., as well as other important and underappreciated nutrigenomic considerations, etc., etc., etc.) is a major reason why psychiatric iatrogenesis is a primary contributor to the third leading cause of death in the U.S. (which is iatrogenesis in general). If the U.S. spent just a fraction of the over $40 billion each year it spends just on iatrogenic psychiatric drugs alone, for properly researching the issues discussed in this and related RUclips presentations we would probably, Lord willing, achieve an absolute revolution in medical efficacy improvement and iatrogenesis reduction.
