Reminds me of our transfer…. I’m only up there a few times a year mainly at the landfill but it’s always fun. Only thing is we get a lot of junk not much good trash so it takes some skill lol

How are the trucks supposed to know if there's a trailer to catch?

Usually if there is not a trailer in the hole the TS operator will tell each driver to just dump on the floor. Also there is a very loud alarm with flashing red lights to indicate that the hole has not trailer. Thanks for watching.

How does that backhoe loader's tires never go flat? Like, where I work, cars, minivans, pickups, big dump trucks, and big rigs; their tires go flat all the time. But somehow, the tires on a 544J and 314G at my worksite never go flat.

At our transfer station, the in loader doesn't have tires, they are massive metal "tires" with spikes.

It might have foam filled tires. Some of our construction equipment have foam instead of air filled tires because of all the nails on the job sites.

Great video! That was some kind of slop in those loads. I have a question, does your garbage go to the power plant incinerator between Woodburn and Keizer, OR? I have seen several rigs that look like your transport trailers on I-5 between Portland and the power plant.

It goes to a landfill called coffin butte I think. Not sure the exact location but it’s somewhere near the Corvallis area.
