I always thought those garbage trucks with the partition down the middle was for picking up trash and recycle with the same truck, and here they are dumping it all at the same place.
That was at 5:12, ap 12:20 pears the "split body" had trash on both sides. These trucks aren't strictly for recycling and trash. They can haul greens and trash, etc. Maybe that company was short a trash truck and just utilized the split body for the day?

Video is actually relaxing. The feeling of being empty of all that waste. Do the trucks have to wash or rinse off and out before they return to the streets? Government regulations are very strict when it comes to dropping waste on public roads

But we dump everything on a big pile & then the excavator uses a claw to load it into walking floor 100 yd trailers for the 40 mile trip to the landfill
Isn't waste separated and recycled? With us, 98% is recycled or burned to generate electricity. A ton of sorted waste is more expensive than a ton of grain.
There is a 53’ open top trailer in the hole. It gets filled with about 55-62,000 pound of trash then it gets hauled off to the landfill to be dumped. Thanks for watching.
