I've seen like twenty videos of people having matches with the new update and all of them are fun and interesting and are never instakills. I don't know were you got this idea from but I'm assuming you only watched those combo videos and never actually seen anyone play with the update.
I like how most if not all of these changes aren't even left field changes. They feel like things that all of these moves should've been able to do already. Such a cool patch.
It gets better. They also gave android a 19 frame rekka overhead for meter, and gave him a rekka crossup for meter. Also his medium overhead fakeout moves him as far back as possible while still keeping the opponent in range of his medium rekkas which is evil. And his “spin backwards then attack” moves are frame 1 projectile invulnerable during the spin. And the heavy spin is FULLY INVINCIBLE which gives him enough time to react and barrier anything
Finally they stopped being cowards and made it real kusoge Can’t wait Also feels like the characters have a bit more identity now and they always felt so samey before, very glad

Android 16 could already do the 214H extension before and has had it for a long time, and you missed that Gogeta 4 can also go from 6H followups (6H, 3H) into 6H itself to do two sets of the rekka
@@samloeffler4174 Basically, 6H or "Saiyan Kick" which is a grounded command normal and rekka, is a move with two possible unique followups- a fast overhead done using 6H input again, and a slower low thats plus on block done by using 3H. Thanks to this new patch, you can cancel from those followup options, into 6H itself 1 time, meaning you can 6H6H > 6H6H, or 6H(whiff or combo drop)3H>6H6H. Because of the ridiculously high stun on 3H on hit though, you have time to reset to neutral and get access to all your buttons again before hitting the opponent again. So the grossest thing I found was to space / time it to whiff 6H, land 3H followup, delay, and then use 6H6H>6H6H for maximum disrespectful and funny spam.

Reason 1: the game got bad after lab coat because lab coat was Busted and that ment that there was a character that was way above the other ones. While now every character is broken, meaning there are no characters that are massively overpowered above the rest, unironically making the game more balanced making the lab coat comparison meaningless. Unless your point was that there are some characters that are better than others, then i must inform you that every fighting game is like that.
Reason 2: the game not only has not died but a lot of people are coming back to the game because of this patch as it spiced up a lot of the gameplay. So, obviously this patch did not kill the game rendering the second part of your argument wrong as well.

Android 16 could already do the 214H extension before and has had it for a long time, and you missed that Gogeta 4 can also go from 6H followups (6H, 3H) into 6H itself to do two sets of the rekka

@@samloeffler4174 Basically, 6H or "Saiyan Kick" which is a grounded command normal and rekka, is a move with two possible unique followups- a fast overhead done using 6H input again, and a slower low thats plus on block done by using 3H.
Thanks to this new patch, you can cancel from those followup options, into 6H itself 1 time, meaning you can 6H6H > 6H6H, or 6H(whiff or combo drop)3H>6H6H.
Because of the ridiculously high stun on 3H on hit though, you have time to reset to neutral and get access to all your buttons again before hitting the opponent again.
So the grossest thing I found was to space / time it to whiff 6H, land 3H followup, delay, and then use 6H6H>6H6H for maximum disrespectful and funny spam.
