    Great video,
    Mine starts and runs, but at above 30mph it starts missing. Back off accelerator and smooths back out. Any thoughts?

      Possible fuel pressure issue. I would check the fuel pump to make sure making between 38 and 42 PSI with key on and then when you turn the key off that it holds that same pressure for at least 5 minutes before it starts to bleed down pressure. If it does not then you have a fuel pump problem.

      @@limitlesspowersportsservic3394 I checked fuel pressure as you advised. It went up to 42psi, quickly dropped to 40 then overtime went down to 38 after about 30 minutes and thats as low as it went.
      I did look over multiple things and found on the throttle body there was a round device which I assume is a solenoid device. I tried moving its light weight spring plunger up and down. It was stuck in out position. I finally got it to move in and out with a fair amount of pressure. It seems it’s in a bind. I continued to move it in and out then it got stuck into the coil assembly and wont come back out so it needs replaced. Not sure what it is called and there is no part number on it except for the name Continental written on it. Any thoughts on that part?

      That would be your IAC motor. (Idle air controller) it is only supposed to move in & out when the ECU tells it too. By pussing & pulling on it you could have ruined it. You can find a replacement from ebay are Amazon. Just type in continental IAC motor. Are Hisun IAC. If you do replace it you will need to do a ecu reset, so the ecu know you put in a new IAC/ISC/ stepper motor.

      @@limitlesspowersportsservic3394 Ok I see that that is a 4 wire control. From wiring diagram it shows a Low, High winding. So how does it function to open and close bypass air? Seems the plunger is stroked out. What happens when low or high coil is energized?

    Just bought a Hisun Axis 500 UTV from Lowes yesterday. Build year is 2022. Great video's BTW. Is there a rebuild manual anywhere to buy? Thanks, Brent

      I personally don't have one for the newer model. You might just try to contact Hisunmotors.com they should be able to sell you one.

      I personally never heard of a motor knocking when it's in reverse. Now it could be something to do with the reverse gear. But definitely not a piston or crank issue. Could be a drive shaft could be a rear differential issue. But the motor is actually knocking it would knock all the time as far as being a rod or piston slap.

      The oil pump chain & sprocket are behind the flywheel. I can't remember off the top if my head if you have to spilt the cases to get to the oil pump. I have a full motor build video on the MSU 700 & the bottom end is the same as the 500. Check it out for full details

    What’s most common problem if the benniche 500 is smoking heavy then gets better after running a min is that the rings? And I just took it out last weekend and ran it for 10 mins and there was a weird fluttering sound and it died and would not start almost if there wasn’t any compression. I’m going do a compression test soon.

      Usually if it smokes on start up just for a few seconds that's an indication of bad valve guide seals but they are very well known for wearing the rings out & smoking too. I would also do a leak down test & that will tell you where the problem are. If it's rings are the vavles. I would also check the cam & Rocker arms for wear. Very common issue too

    A co-worker said I could have his 2012 yardsport ys 400 XLT 4X4 utility. Says it has reverse problems. It’s been sitting for 2 years. I’ve watched your videos on 500s or larger UTVs. Are the 400s close to the same or are they quite a bit different?

      They are different but not so much that you can't take some of the knowledge from the 500 & apply it to the 400. When you say it doesn't have reverse, does it even shift to reverse & does it shift to all the other gear ok? Alot of the time it's just a shift linkage adjustment.

      @@limitlesspowersportsservic3394 I was told that it just ran really rough when it was put into reverse(engine wise). He said it drove just fine in forward gears. I don’t have it yet. Apparently it’s buried in a big snow drift and he hasn’t got it pulled out yet. Basically snow drifted over it where it’s at.

      @@limitlesspowersportsservic3394 I finally got the ys 400. Got rid of the 2 year old gas in the tank. Had to shorten some cracked gas hoses and replaced crumbling fuel filters. I’ve put gas in the tank and slapped in my riding mower battery. I can get it to run for about a minute, but then it dies and gas runs out of a hole near the top of the carburetor. Also the exhaust pipe gets supper hot(really red). I was wondering if you could share any thoughts.

      Well since yours is the carburetor modle, it sounds like the fuel needle has gone bad. You need to probably do a complete carb clean & rebuild. It's a good possibility the the reason your pipe is getting so hot really fast is due to unburned fuel but also some of those units have that issue too. So I would start by cleaning the carb & testing it then if is still over flows with fuel I would rebuild it are jist buy a new carburetor.
